That's interesting about 发红包 ("to give red packets of money as presents"). But I think that if 送 is used instead of 发, then 送红包 means "to give a bribe".
Love this video. I wish you could do some just sit down discussion videos and provide all the Hànzì we could down load. Also you can’t give people shoes. That’s what someone told me. Because it means they should walk away.

bruhhh i understand lishangwanglai but as a foreign girl in china, I received a looooot of gifts !! it was a little embarrassing because i was a student at the time so I could not afford to buy gifts for everyone and even now I would go broke have I had to reciprocate !!
