  • I had my custom 2008 Quadangle Pro , 2000 GT Vertigo and 1999 Mongoose Rogue on display next to Dayle's immaculate Haro Team Sport Freestyler with his Sharp VZ-2000 boombox. What an amazing day catching up and having a laugh with mates. Amazing bikes from 70's all the way up to 00's. Hope you enjoy checking out rad rides and be sure to head to the next one!

i remember back in the day very few people we knew had anything other than a hotfoot (kmart) i think i saw a chrome one early in the vid. was one guy down the road who built a 1/4 pipe and had a haro and an XF falcon with HARO1? number plate.. He bunny hopped a treated pine fence on it, and i challenged him to do it on My kmart clunker with chrome wheels (probably weighed similar but din't have all the trick pegs and front brake spin around bits etc... and he BARELY cleared it on My bike, but man it was impressive. pretty sure he was the one who campaigned/organised for the big half pipe that was/is (not sure anymore) near the Williamstown Rd exit park at Spotswood.
they look cool on display, I remember them being ridden like they were in a movie scene though.. those were the days.

@@STREETCARCULTURE we went straight from 20" BMX's to 26" mountain bikes, i wish we went to 24" BMX, i reckon they'd have been a better fit for us. they were rare back in the day, still rare. someone we knew had a 22" wheels redline, it wouldn't have coped with our abuse.
