Hey Pravus, I hope you’re reading this, but I just want to say that I had found your channel 6 years ago through the plague inc gameplay, I believe it was when I was going into the 7th grade. I quickly found your HOI4 videos and fell in love with it. Through your videos I found my love for history and strategy games and ended up becoming a massive nerd in the two, lol. I continued watching and playing HOI4 up until 2 years ago. I’ve graduated High School now and got my first full time job, I remembered this channel and it’s just as enjoyable to watch as ever, I’m so glad that it seems like you’re doing well. I just wanted to say that I appreciate the videos you make for us, as they do more for us than you may know. Peace!

One quick tip with crew movement for Multiverse, you can actually put your crew on specific tiles now, meaning you can cycle melee fighters without losing overall dps, or you can put people back in their stations easily if there's more than one in one room.
How do I know if there a melee fighter or not?
Reminder: All beam weapons pierce shield layer based on their damage -1
(e.g. Dirk beam deals 2 damage, allowing it to pierce 1 shield layer, Glaive beam deals 3 damage allowing it to pierce 2 shield layers, etc.)

Heres a tip. You should put the zoltan on shields due to ion weapons not being able to remove the zoltan power. If you ever get 2 zoltan its pretty worth it to put them both in the same shield room due to you basically having a free shield layer
The Overclocking crew upgrade in the onboard lab doubles the power zoltan provide, allowing a single zoltan to provide this at some risk, and an elite zoltan peacekeeper to provide 2 bubbles with this advantage (4 power).
Ah ftl. Fun game to watch. And play. And im happy to see some games that are more interesting!

I started playing FTL multiverse a good while ago - and noticed you had some old videos on the game. Very excited to see it back even if it is only for a short period 🎉
Small note, the Dirk pinpoint is a style of beam weapon, and can naturally can pierce a number of shields that is one less than its damage. So one shield pierce in the dirk's case. This makes it very similar to the heavy pierce in that it does 2 damage, but it does get reduced to 1 if a shield is present, but is faster, and 100% accurate. It would actually be a fine replacement for one of those lasers for faster, undodgable damage.
Also .... you had been considering jamming shields when the enemy ship only had one shield, and all your weapons had one shield piercing lol.
Not gonna lie. I love that this game still gets so much gameplay. It gives me hope that my game which is an homage to FTL will get such a following when released.

24:35 Not investing early into Doors and some Extra Piloting and o2 seems totally fine...especially if you have extra weapons that you are planning to use sitting in your cargo hold without selling the obsolete weapons that you could already replace thanks to your better reactor power. 😅
