    In the last decade (10 years) teams down double digits in a playoff game are 3-70. Brady has done it THREE times in the last 4 seasons. Examples below.
    In Super Bowl 49 (XLIX) against the Legion of Boom (same defense that destroyed Manning the year before in the SB) trailed 24-14, but won 28-24.
    2001 Divisional game against Oakland trailed 13-3 but won 16-13.
    Super Bowl LI against ATL trailed 28-3 but won 34-28 without Gronk.
    Down 28-3 in the 4'th quarter, Brady goes 26 of 33 (78 Completion %) 284 Passing Yards, 2 TD's 0 INT's.
    Sunday against the Jags, 2018 AFC Championship trailed 20-10 but won 24-20 against the No. 1 Passing defense with 50 plus sacks this season, without Gronk AND Edleman.
    Brady has 11 Post season game winning drives in 4'th quarter or overtime. (NFL Record)
    ALSO, Brady has 8 FOURTH quarter comebacks in the post season, NFL Record. 2nd all time is Montana with 5, Bradshaw with 4, Eli with 4, & R. Wilson with 4.
    But, how is this system QB doing this? What's causing this to happen?
    Look at Brady's stats against "sack-sonville" at age 40 without Gronk and Edleman in the 4'th quarter.
    9 of 14 (64 Completion %) 138 Passing Yards, 2 TD's 0 Int's, 136.3 Passer Rating.
    Brady (the Grandpa) playoff stats THIS year through the 2017-2018 Playoffs
    61 of 91 (67 Completion %) 627 Passing Yards, 5 TD's 0 INT's.
    Lastly, let's look at Super Bowl appearances throughout the years
    Steelers 8 (52 years)
    Cowboys 8 (52 years)
    Broncos 8 (52 years)
    49ers 6 (52 years)
    Packers 5 (52 years)
    Tom Brady 8 (16 years)
    Know what this means? System QB LOL

Just an FYI stat is all...Ravens are 2 -- 2 head to head against Brady led Patriots in the postseason, and the points total is Ravens 112, Patriots 85. Amazing what Brady is doing at his age though. Brady lit the best past defense up for 290 yards. They allowed 168 PYPG on average this season. Amendola and Brady killed it. And Gilmore had the most clutch play of the game.

On top of that the Steelers scored more points on the same Jags D And loss. Patriots D was and usually is the difference

    Anybody who is about 30 years or older remembers the first 10 years of Brady's career. If you took his career and split it in half he would be a hall of famer in either half. If your not a Pats fan, all you watch is playoff games, but his regular season masterpieces have all been forgotten, especially in the first half of his career. What we are witnessing is even more incredible than it is because a lot of fans are to young to remember anything before his last 7 years!

    • @jayrusterpuppy2610
      @jayrusterpuppy2610 6 лет назад +1

      play action only works if your running game is producing 4+ yds on average. play action is designed to draw in the LBs and give you some room in the defensive backfield. The Pats stopped the run and made Bortles try to beat them. it worked.

    • @josephbennett3876

      or when you call it when the defense is expecting run. On first down.

    • @Thecoolguy463
      @Thecoolguy463 6 лет назад

      yes and no. Play Actions work when you are successfully running or you are expecting to run. It was pretty clear that Jacksonville was running the ball on every first down. There was one drive in particular where they ran the ball on first down and then did a playaction on second down. Bortles had a very good game so why not put a little bit ore trust in him and let him get more in sync with some firs down play actions when they are expecting run. Go look at the statistics and see how many times they ran it on first down that game.

This is only a talking point among butthurt fanboys of other teams that don't measure up to what the Patriots have built, not a single sports commentator is talking about this because when you go to dig for something all you get is how many penalties the Jags got away with the entire game.

      Where was Aaron? Playing with the flu with his best receiver playing with broken ribs and his second best injured for the game. He also was playing with a defense so decimated they had safeties playing corners and a decimated o line as well. And Brady right? The GOAT? The one who's defense has only allowed more than 30 points 3 times in his postseason career of 34 games? Whereas, Rodgers defense, in his 7 playoff losses, allows an average of 36 points per game. Brady has benefited from the tuck rule, questionable officiating, deflated balls, Malcolm butler, adam vinateri, and much more. He could've easily lost all of those games too. But its all Rodgers right? And all Brady carrying the Patriot right? don't talk until you watch football bud
