- Here is an In salon base bump and balayage tutorial touch up video. You guys have been asking for a lot more in salon videos of my appointments, so here is how I do a base bump with the new Redken colorgels. Thank you for watching!
Lighten formula:
1oz flash lift + 1oz 20 vol + Ph bonder added
Base bump formula
2oz 7N color gels permanent color + 2oz 20 vol.
Toner formula
1/2 oz 09P shades eq + 1/2 oz 09N shades eq + 10z crystal clear + 2 oz processing solution.

Love these new types of videos. The only thing I like a little more about the last one is the camera actually shot the toners and clear mix. And you explain what zones you were doing and why. But still, love!!
+tabatha Fehrmann I’m trying to have each video have a focus, last one was the lightner/toner, previous one was the PH Bonder and this one is focusing on breaking the base or doing a base bump. Videos would be over an hour long if I went in depth into each part. I figured this way I feel I can explain each step a little more. But I’ll keep this in mind for future videos. ellebangs Sounds cool, I get the idea, very fun. Still I would never think of exploiting you to do a long video, even close to an hour I just meant a quick shot of the toners (bottles). I know you put them in the description box, but it’s just a little easier to visually see the bottles, toners are so important to the overall color. And I didn’t know if you always tone zone 1, then 2 and then 3 or sometimes you do it all at once, that’s what I mean by describing how you are applying the toner. Love you & your work😘
ellebangs did you use an Olaplex type product also? I haven’t used anything but Olaplex, how are these new copy cat products?

Hey is it always better to start at the top of the head rather then the bottom ? I always find to see when you start at the top it is lighter I love it !
