- So I have no idea what the hell happened from the initial reveal, to the actual manufacturing of this figure, but it is an inexcusable mess.
This is 100% false advertising.
Not only does it look NOTHING like the promo pics, but it's also blatantly missing parts and paint apps that were supposed to be included to justify the $120 asking price..
LooseCollector and ExecutiveReplicas should be ASHAMED of themselves for lying to their customers with blatantly misleading pictures, and the piss-poor quality of the overall product..
This REALLY makes me nervous about getting the next handful of figures from these guys if THIS is the kind of garbage we can expect in the future..

Wow.. just wow. Like everyone else, I was also waiting forever for this release. The promo photos are so beautiful and I was expecting a boutique masterpiece. I thought LooseCollector was the king when it came to 6-inch female figures. I will not be getting this nor will I be getting any future releases. What a disappointment. Yikes! 😱

Oh man! After watching your part 2 rant about Loose Collector I had to go and get some context about your experiences with the company. AGAIN, your videos are HIGHLY entertaining. I hate to take pleasure in your disappointment, but I can't help it. I honestly wish you would keep buying figures from this company simply for entertainment purposes. Its hard to believe that there has been very little improvement from there products. It's like they purposely make bad products to frustrate their fans. Well, my Le Muerte figure is probably my first and last dabble in this company, but I'm here for any more videos you put out from this company.

I almost bought this. Then I was like wait I do reviews, I should watch some reviews on her. Very glad I did. I do have the other taarna but wanted something better... Taarna, Vamperilla and Red Sonya are three figures I want.. nice 6 inch scale (Masterverse scale on Sonya) to display and ugh. Thank you again! Great honest review
Saw this advertised for $180 and instantly texted a friend 'cos he loves Heavy Metal. Then I saw your video and thought Holy shit. I couldn't text him the link for your review quick enough.

They deserve to go belly up after these first two releases (Lady Death being the first) I really want to love these figures but I will probably not buy any of them given their efforts so far. Wow, sorry to see how this turned out. I didn't care for this character, so I didn't PO it - but I PO Red Sonja and Vamperilla. I'm cancelling those now and won't order it until I see some reviews.

Thanks for the review. I’ve been waiting months for someone to get this in hand. Robo did a review and it was my first chance seeing it……and I wasn’t impressed after seeing the paint. However Robo said his was sent over by Loose Collector so I hoped it was an early test shot. I guess not. I’ve canceled my order on BBTS for it as well as Red Sonja and the others. Very disappointed.

I ain't canceling my Red Sonja. The Dynamite animated version looks Cold Fire. Unless your talking about the Doll face one w/ "real hair" yeah that looks horrible. But you could see that from jumpstreet.
I REALLY love the character too and am super disappointed. I had read a while back how much Executive Replicas sucks ass and I now I see that is true. Hopefully a 1/6 version kit will be made by Super Duck or someone else that is reliable.

Wowzer! Absolutely agree this figure looks nothing like the images she was shown. This figure is suppose to come with 2 head sculpt not two hair piece. The BBTS exclusive is suppose to come with exchangeable hair and no Avis. And the shading is gone! And I do believe this is the final product because the BBTS exclusive images looks exactly like this figure you have and not what is shown from the 2-pack. Great review!

Why is one of the heads matte and one shiny...? The shiny one looks like garbage, why even put it in there? Reminds me of that crappy Super7 April O'Neil.

It was definitely a bit unprofessional in retrospect, but I was just so disappointed and irritated. Especially considering how much the damn thing cost.

I was shocked when this showed up out of the blue at my place today, shocked because I cancelled the order and got a full refund months ago! Glad it's free because I would have been pissed if I had paid for this junk.

@@gnarkillguch i received an email for a refund but i would have to post it back...They wont pay for the postage and on top of that i would have to pay them a restock fee. So in the end i would only be getting back 60 bucks. not sure if its worth getting a refund

@@haulinggoodtime I'm not sure honestly. I feel like you might have a good case to do a charge back through your bank since they tricked you with false promo pictures. The main reason it cost so much was supposedly the paints and tooling needed, and they didn't deliver on that whatsoever.
I'd say tell them that if they don't drop the fees, then you'll just go through your bank and get the full amount back anyways.
Oh jeez sorry for the terrible quality on the fig man I pre-ordered vampirella and I hope it doesn't have the same issues I mean yikes! 😬

KIKI's Loose Joints will really help your figure. Avis's wings are upside down btw. I don't plan on giving up on mine when I get her. I think I'm gonna just repaint her and Avis entirely.

Dude I totally agree with you. I had been emailing back and forth with ER and they kept saying its coming its coming. Then last week i finally got it and its terrible. Delivery box was smashed. Paint job is crap. The additional hands were a different shade of red. Its horrible. What a disappointment. 100 over bucks for junk

It’s in the name LOOSE collector your getting a figure with LOOSE joints and the figure is a LOOSE representation of what the promo was.

That's hoe I order everything everything!!! Always shows up in excellent shape!!! Damn.... like this.... it's just outright robbery.... saw the Lady Death/Hellwitch/Red Sonja video you made and yeah... the promo pictures really look like a textured skin, the colour looks mat with the tones painted on, but every single figure from what I'm seeing come plastic glossy... and the chickensaurus pokemon thingy... One can see all of the dry brushes and shadow lines between the eyes and the eyelids?? crevices in the pictures. THAT is not a 100 dollars figure... 60 maximum for being a figure and mount "deluxe" pack... I'm not getting Shi if I don't see any new reviews showing considerable improvement and I REALLY wanted to get Shi

I just don’t think it was worth the money with the figure in hand. For me it is kinda flat. I wonder if a lot of the money goes toward the box art. There has to be a better way or a better company. I started with the Mr Hyde which is a great figure. Not impressed since. I hope they turn it around. So I don’t want to tell you how to spend your money. If I had a redo I would hold off and look at it in person first. Then go from there

That really blows. Hellwitch is coming up next and I already have her paid off, so I'm just gonna let it ride. If she's as bad as Taarna, I am walking away from this line forever.
If it's the same, then you best cancel your preorders and wait for other reviewers. They will not upgrade or mold fix other female figures. This is shit - all around. Paint, mold, faces, looseness. Even the false advertising should be the number one reason to cancel and never to buy from them again.

I watched Robo’s review on Fwoosh and his Avis had a lot more color apps and shading, as did Taarna (hers didn’t look like a spotty sun burn). His figure was able to stand on its own, so maybe you just got inferior set?

1 - I did nt want 'the chicken' at all though.
2 - the face does nt look that much like the cartoon.
3 - the sun burns have to be the worst flaw to me, what a bummer!

lmao I feel your pain. I got this early on into my getting back into collecting as a gift and so I don't really want to get rid of it. I wouldn't even make back close to what was originally spent either! Fucking suck. Since then I've collected a lot more figures from a lot more lines this shit is too goddamn loose and such a pain in the ass. For so simple a figure, it shouldnt be a pain.

Been watching reviews and I wonder if the Darna and Lady Death figures were done in another factory?
I was also kind of let down by the Trese figure as well. If there was a change between those figures and these, I really hope the LC team course corrects before the trio of toys they annouced, as well as their Kickstarter stuff. Was really looking forward to those lines but after this I am really re-thinking my POs.
I just ordered this figure I'm really looking forward to having it in hand, I'm a huge heavy metal magazine fan I love the comics that they show case, I understand the frustration but I still think it looks pretty good, I have lady death and there are similar QC issues on her too but to me it's still a great figure the only thing I see on your version is the shading they trade to do on the arm
For a $100some figure is needs to look better than just "pretty good"!!

I just received the Red Sonja from this company and came upon this review as I was looking up reviews for her. I was considering getting this set but after seeing this cringe video I decided not to for obvious reasons. How dissapointing smh. As excited as I am for Red Sonja I hope the quality for her figure is no where near the quality of this Taarna. Kind of makes me scared to even open her tbh. I hope their customer service is at least good and they came up with some sort of resolution for you. This was just a mess.

Man, I've been there before. I got hit in the feels about your busted and miserable looking figure. I watched your video and then went and looked at Robo's FWOOSH! review, and he had a completely different experience. Loose Collector's rep at the factory did something shady . . . he opened Robo's and apparently "inspected" it before putting it back in the package, to send it. AND he told Robo that they were getting ready yo mass ship the rest soon afterwards. That tells me that your situation was already a concern of theirs, BEFORE they mass shipped these. Crooked, CROOKED toy manufacturers.
It sucks because I really want to like the LooseCollector stuff, but with the exception of Red Sonja, I've had problems with every other figure they've made so far. My HellWitch has broken in multiple places just trying to do basic articulation, Lady Death has a broken leg, Vampirella came in with ridiculous QC problems etc.
@@gnarkillguch I have only bought the Vampirella, beside getting the Red Sonja. With Vampirella, I got no problems except ONE. The ring portion that goes around her finger and attaches to the bottom of the bat, was left out of the package, COMPLETELTY. Everything else works, no joint problems. I also did not like the cape. It's too heavy and makes her unable to stand. Aside from that, meh. The figures alright, but Red Sonja is the only figure to come out of this line, where people are universally having a good experience with a figure purchase. Nobody seems to like the Taarna set

This figure is so disappointing, I preordered this awhile back and seeing the couple of reviews is making me regret paying for it. I don't know if this was pointed out in the vid but this headsculpt looks very similar to Lady Death's. This is fucking lazy and completely different from the promo images they showed. I'm cancelling all preorders from this company smh.

@@gnarkillguch i am a big HM fan and i was close to pulling the trigger on this. I know that prototypes vary from the end product but like you said, this is over $100. This should have digital paint on the face at least and that awful blush application? It's not good.

Jokes aside, I actually liked this body mold enough that I bought multiples for some custom work.
We have to remember that Loose Collector is a relatively small, newer toy company that doesn't have Hasbro or Mattel's resources or experience yet.
Putting my money where my mouth is, I still have multiple pre-orders for their upcoming Hellwitch, Vampirella and Red Sonja releases.
Taarna's single release cost of $85 is on par with other figures nowadays that AREN'T Hasbro or Mattel.
Look at Figma, Mezco, Revoltech, etc for comparison.
Their single figures are all well over $110 each.
But I still enjoyed your review, thank you.

So let get this straight; 99% of all your problems get solved with some wash for the hair that you can do in 20 seconds, the shading of the face and body takes a bit more work maybe $20 minutes and the floppy joints with floor polish
