Robo, do you plan on getting the Red Sonja figure when Loose Collector produces it? I’m very excited for her, been wanting a Red Sonja figure for years. Almost bought the TBLeague one but it’s just too small I think.
Robo did you point out how over priced this figure is? Maybe you did already. Was just surprise they dare to charge $70 for a 6 inch figure that normaly goes for $30 of less.
Her look was originally designed by Steven Hughes in 1995, who helped jump start the "90s bad girl" trend of comics. He was considered to be one of the most successful African-American comic artists to ever be in the business at the time of his death. Unfortunately, he passed away from cancer in 2000 at age 46. Brian Pulido, the original writer for Lady Death, is still producing new Lady Death comics today among other things. She originally appeared in a horror comic inspired by classic EC Comics (the publisher for Tales From the Crypt), appearing in the dreams of a psychotic character named Evil Ernie who was infatuated with her. She urged him to kill for her. "I hate the living! You must do something about this, Ernie!" She then got many comics of her own. Nowadays there is a lot more to her character than just "death good".
I think my only criticism is the lack of a simple peg stand. Admittedly this is something I can easily remedy, but it would be more convenient if one was included. Though to give Executive Replicas benefit of the doubt, maybe a peg stand would’ve raised the production cost.
I'm a bit disepointed with tb league 1/12 size vampirella actualy ..I was hopeing Tbleague/she's bit bigger and chunckier in size like this Lady death or Marvel legend... just feel right in hand ,and for hair i still prefer Marvel legend style soft plastic then rooted hair or hard plastic, (im sure this why the figure heavy on back) ,... this Lady death for me is must have not the best sclupt though but she's one of my fav characters since they were chaos comics
Tbleague needs to do a 1/12 Lady Death. I missed out on the first run they did in 1/6 scale, I didn't know about it, otherwise I would have picked up one for my dad. Would have been a great centerpiece for his collection.
Very disappointed with this figure. The lack of an ab crunch or neck swivel severely hinders the posability, and on top of that the paint apps aren't very durable. I very lightly scratched at one of her legd and the paint easily came off on my fingernail. The proportions are nice though. Overall this is nowhere near worth the $75+ they're asking. The box art was not given a proper print size so its all fuzzy from being blown up, which looks sloppy.
I'd love to know what the limitations are with action figure crotches. Yes, I understand how that sounds. But seriously, why do they all have thigh gaps you can drive a truck through? Can they not narrow the "taint" area so our female figures don't look like they just got done riding a mastodon? Surely we have the technology!
It's probably because it would have that gap that 5 point figures have where it's just a giant piece of plastic sticking out of the leg because of how it was modeled
So I finish some essay work, find my local comic shop has the Black Series Moff Gideon available so I order it whilst re-watching the Fwoosh top 5 figures of 2020, then this gets uploaded. Can't think of a better way to end my work day.

The figure looks nice overall, my only nitpick is the forehead and front part of the hair, it seems like she has a big forehead, Id also like the hair to be a little more painted white and a little less milky plastic white, it kinda blends too much with her face, a sligtly different tone of white would help contrast both, but overall the figure looks really nice.
Waiting on this and the Kickstarter Spawn (So much 90's). But it all gets here when it gets here. The fact that we're still getting so much action figure awesomeness during a global pandemic is mind blowing enough. I can wait a little longer if that's the price if admission.
I haven't gotten mine in yet but its definitely a nice looking lady death fig. I would love to get a custom wired cape for her. I think that would be the end all say all for this beautiful piece of art. At least for now!

Looks very well done. Fits in 6ish and 7ish lines okay. Gamora is a green version of this and the bigger stature fits the character.
