- Actually back with a new custom video! This one has been cooking in my mind for months and months now, ever since Hasbro revealed the new Talos figure with the incredible looking Ben Mendelsohn headsculpt. Hopefully the instructions are easy to follow, and more people can have the Krennic figure we should have gotten with the Rogue One reissues.

I found both figures in the wild for $30 Canadian total within days of watching this video. Then I bought a rotary tool (not Dremel brand) and tried it. Stoked with how well it turned out for a first try. Thanks for the tutorial!

Thank you for posting, I was so looking forward to doing this and I still might but I’m now leaning towards buying a custom painted one. It looks good but I really want my rogue one collection to pop and I think a custom painted one will be the way to go.
Great job. I'd maybe draw a line in pencil to mark what I wanted to cut away from the neck.
You could always try a dab of vaseline on the ball peg then pump hot glue into the head to make it fit better. I have some Black Series Axe Woves figs I did it to. I'm gonna paint up two of my three as other Mandolorians.

Damn what a difference. I would like to see the original TBS Krennic repainted to see the sculpt underneath. Anyone remember the melting face of Poe Dameron?? Also what Hell Boy is that in the back??
@@jonmorgan7621 There were actually quite a few customizers out there back in the day that did full repaints of the old TBS figures headsculpts. The most surprising thing to me at the time, was the fact that the actual sculpts themselves were shockingly good once you touched them up. It was the terrible and cheap paint apps Hasbro used that made them look so bad.
Hellboy is the Mezco 2019ish movie version btw.

Excellent. I’ve been sitting on my Talos since it came out. Was so disappointed when I opened it and saw how bad the neck match was. This looks like the way to go.
I was considering going the opposite route and drilling into the Krennic torso, to accommodate the Marvel neck. Have you seen anyone try that?
Haven't seen that, no. I feel like that would be more work than it's worth lol.
@@gnarkillguch Yeah…. likely so. The idea behind that approach was to eliminate seeing the ugly neck joint, but in your video it seems like the new chin covers that better than the old anyway.
