Reminds me of my bikepacking trip in France. Some intrigued locals wanted to know where I am from. When I said Singapore, one of them broke in singlish. "How are you lah!". I was stunned like vegetables! (Local slang btw, lol) it was weird hearing it in thr middle of the french alps but also pleased. Turned out he had lived and worked in Singapore for a few years.
