    A common trick I use to help with a low compression engine to see how it runs. I use some oil on the piston. Pour it down the spark plus take up extra ring spacing. Smoky but works

    @digger450r 8 месяцев назад +43

    you could try adding fiberglass fibers to the cement for strength. it also takes about a week for concrete to hit half strength and a month for full strength. I also think you'd be better off trying to cut the ring grooves rather than molding them

    • @russbilzing5348

Polish head. Might be worth sealing concrete as well prior to running it. Possibly have a pro mix designer on the concrete. Box store is a mistake.

    What about submerging a dry/cured block of Concrete in Resin then machining that into a piston?

    Actually try lava rock or anything natural and hard, have it milled like billit, you may have to use waterjet??? IDK if it is even close to possible but the journey is the adventure!!

    i was trying to think of ideas for you. making a fiberglass piston maybe...but i think itd be similar to the 3d one. 🤔 however. maybe making one of denim? ive seen some other stuff being made of that recently. another thought. maybe try a plastic piston again. but try and make the top of the piston out of carbonfiber. or try to make carbon fiber piston. also maybe a wood piston.
