    Great video, as always! I'm always happy to hear that companies listen to the consumer...but I actually liked the older style (thicker) bands they sold. I wish they would sell both versions.

    Great vid Patrick ! Great comparisons. Best on you tube as usual hands down!! It’s crazy because I have to be completely phenomenato as you said hands-down the best quality come for strap on the market no doubt about it. Others are closing in and getting very close but not just there yet at the level. Akos also seems like a very nice guy who is on his way to possibly creating a great company there’s just a lot of negatives holding him back from having a complete company in my opinion I am no one to judge but just spitting real facts and saying what everyone is probably thinking he is the only strap company website that has a very small selection and never has any type of promotion or discounts or any type of marketing to entice you to buy from his web site. I don’t mind paying the most expensive price for his straps because they are the highest quality but there needs to be some type of incentive to make me want to keep buying besides just the fact that the quality is fantastic there is no excitement to want to buy multiples part of that goes hand-in-hand with the second problem which is his shipping and wait times are absolutely horrendous! I mean we’re talking about a month or longer wait time which is just completely unacceptable in today’s market for a strap! I mean we’re not waiting for a car to be built we’re talking about nylon here. There is got to be a better way on his end to expedite shipping through the US better than how he’s doing it right now. Also there is pretty much zero or tiny at best worth of communication during that month to five week wait for your goods no updates no emails no anything which makes the process even more frustrating to a consumer. I think communication shipping and wait time definitely should be talked about regarding all of these products because in my opinion that is half the buying experience. If you could make a video on all of the other side of the coin information in the process of ordering these different straps that would be amazing! And I bet a lot of people would appreciate it so they know what they’re getting into before purchasing them. Anyhow congrats on another great video keep up the good vids we love them!

      You do? I'm 50/50 on it every day... I can't peg what it is I like so much and *dislike* equally... I love the Shark Diver series though. Actually looking to buy a SS model w/Bracelet, perhaps in Black (or Blue, haven't decided). Once I get that in I'll decide whether or not to keep one over the other and which that'll be.

      Take Time, w/Patrick Marlett yes, its different without being too blingy or tacky. Guessing it's meteorite or marble? Whatever, its very eye catching,tho I can see how it'd divide opinions. Cheers 👍

    I've been loving the first gen Invasion strap since I got it and Haveston has made only positive changes for their lineup imo. The one pass design for sure makes them more approachable since they don't add too much height now compared to other straps. Add on the great quality and it's even more worth the price. If they give the Fortress strap the same treatment I'll get that for sure, and the new Redstone and the canvas straps are absolutely stunning and definitely on my list to grab up.

    I’m looking forward to your review of the Helson, but the regular SS might be the one to review. Please also show the lume on the Helson vs your Seikos. The lume is legendary on the Helson!

      I have a Helson overview coming up. Recorded it already. Also... I love the damned thing so much, I bought a SS version as well that will receive it’s own video 👌

      Take Time, w/Patrick Marlett Sounds great! Will watch with my gf so she softens up to it. I’ve been hovering the Buy button for a year now. Shark diver is the Brutalist SKX 🤓

      Haha, yeah, the Shark Diver series is amazing... I’m just kicking myself because I missed a recent sale they had on the website. Paid in full for an ETA Black/SS 40mm Shark Diver, but I couldn’t be happier with that decision. Arrives tomorrow, but I’ll be at work 😑

      Take Time, w/Patrick Marlett Nice that you chose the painted indexes version. Looks more retro. I’ll go for the blue version I think. The black diver slot will instead go to Black Bay 58. I tried a dummy at an AD and they nailed the perfect mix of BB and size. It’s not a Seiko, but it will do! 🤓

    Nice straps however, my CDO kicks in when I see the buckle not centered to the bottom of the wrist and seeing the end of the strap from above as well. Just me. All in all, they’re great looking straps. Thanks for the video. 👍🏼

      I normally wear my straps with the extra bit of length on top, like the *PhenomeNato* on my *C. Ward* there. I like the “top bun” effect. All of these can be worn with the extra length on bottom though! Just a preferential thing. 👌⌚️🤷‍♂️

    I purchased the Haveston 1936 without knowing it was the new model and simply fell in love with it, I've ordered another new model based off the spaceship who's name escapes me right now, but that's also a single strap too. I'd also recommend you check out cheapest nato straps, their doing some major things with new offererings coming soon. I hadn't been able to find a canvas strap to fit my over 8 inch wrist but may give the Haveston a whirl, they haven't let me down. Great video and have a great holiday!

    Thanks for the review! Ordering a Phenomenato for my NY0040 asap. Was wondering how you liked the Helson Shark you have in this video? Was thinking it could be nice to try before going all in on the C Ward Bronze Trident.

      So... The Brass came partially aged and in a weird pattern (which I liked, but won’t be for some). I’ve told many this, but to me the Shark Diver is the *purist dive watch* I’ve ever owned. Hands down. However, it does have a few faults... Which I will inevitably get to in a review. 👌

    Nice video. I can't decide which Haveston ones to get, they all look great. I have just purchased a few new natos for the summer including the 'Premium slim' from Moose Strap Co. and ones from WatchGecko. The only thing I find slightly irritating about these thinner Iridescent straps (it might only affect my shape and size of wrist). That is, the weight of the watch and the glossy nylon surface has a tendency to make the watch slide to the side and twists the keepers. I keep finding my self pulling the watch back so the two layers line up. I don't really want to start cutting off the 2nd piece but I can't think of any other solution.

      @TakeTimewPatrickMarlett  6 лет назад +1

      I really do prefer single pass... The straps are thick enough to keep the watches in place as well. It’s a great system. Happy all of Haveston’s offerings have been converted to this style.

    Hi, which NATO [WITH a secondary strap] has a long enough buckle-side length so that the buckle will sit in the middle of the wrist? I don't like the buckle sitting to the side. Thanks!

    • @TakeTimewPatrickMarlett
      @TakeTimewPatrickMarlett  6 лет назад +1

      PhenomeNato and Haveston can be worn with the buckle directly behind the wrist (from my experience and noting the straps here). I prefer to have Phenom on the underside of my wrist as it has a straight buckle, but the other's are curved, so I generally wear them to the side.

    Happy 4th! You used to love blushark straps, but you don't mention them anymore. I know you prefer phenomenato as stated in a previous video, but are phenomenato so much better that you can't even recommend blushark anymore? Their buy 2 get 1 free is an incredible deal.

    • @TakeTimewPatrickMarlett
      @TakeTimewPatrickMarlett  6 лет назад +1

      (Happy Belated “Fourth”!) I still do. This is a “Roundup” of new strap models. Blushark didn’t make this round. That’s all.
