I'd never heard of Jean Richard watches before but liked the one here so much I just had to get one! Goes great with the Harris Tweed strap too. I have the Vario Trench coming so will add a couple of Tweed straps to the order. Thanks for the review, great stuff!
I recently ordered a couple of their ballistic nylon NATO straps. I only hope they are not too thick to use on an Orange Monster or Seiko Arnie re-release. Great review Patrick!
Take Time, w/Patrick Marlett I absolutely love the Arnie. It is not perfect. It is massive, but has a short lug to lug length. It works even on my 6.5” wrist. The chrono can measure up to 99+ hrs in a real diver. Of course the lune is beyond amazing. The back-light can’t be used while the chrono is running, but that is one of my only complaints (along w an LCD screen only predicted to last seven years). Review please!😇😇😇
Better stock up on that replacement LCD screen now, haha. I was so close to buying one, but I refrained... Too many excellent watches coming out this year. I’ll be broke if I bought every one, haha. I do have one “grail” watch on the way though. One I reviewed, actually. 🤘

I suspect I will trash it unless the LCD unit replacement is CHEAP! If Casio can make LCD’s that last, Seiko can. Planned obsolescence? I hate to think Seiko is becoming like IBM & Apple.😡

The tweed is rather nice, just a shame they are a little lacking in the length dept. for my wrist size matches yours. However for that money they are a steal. 😁
That’s mostly how the fabric rests, haha. I get what you mean though. That watch is something like a 38mm diameter, but 20mm lug width 🤷♂️ What can you do?
