One of the best show openers ever made! Hands down the most creative and technically breathtaking! Had only season 8.... never mind. ;-) Still awesome in my opinion!
Beautifully done intro. I don't know if this was the first to do it, but it's definitely the style most big shows are copying now. So many shows are macro-ish, tilt-shift-ish, simulation-heavy flythrough these days. I forget how long ago this was originally created and it's still one of the coolest sequences I've seen.
If there is a medieval simulation or Age of Empire type video game with such art style and graphics, will anyone let me know? The GoT intro is the best i've ever seen.
Does anyone have an idea of which modelling program (or programs?) these guys are using? To at least a basic level, I'd like to try something similar with my own projects. Would it be 3DS MAX by any chance?
So what would HOTD do? Would it be the same opening score? Most likely they'll keep the map for sure, and update as needed for the series.. that's my guess at least
Ever since I've seen the show open I dreamed of having the possibility to move at this map on my own. Is there something ... a program, 3D model that can achieve this?
Yes, a game world that looked similar to this map, and cities that appeared like machines out of the ground every time they loaded in game. And a way to fly just so you would get those camera angles. 😁
And yet whiners still can't stop crying about it. Seriously, how many times have you viewed GOT videos or re-watched episodes since the last season finale, yet you still whine because you think it's expected of you. 🤣🤪
They are just telling us what we already know. Do they really believe we are dumb to not understand it's an inverted globe and that it looks mechanical and the structures emerge from outside ?

This video is underrated.
greatest show opener ever!
It's just the closing that was shitty
… but what‘s with „Carnivàle“? :-)
Imagine how long it took to render
Pretty fast now with render farms.
Does anybody know wich programs they used to make all of this?

Best Intro Video and Best Intro Music ever in tv series history
Nicely done! Those opening scenes were epic from start to finish! GG to one and all involved. And, that musical score, too...simply brilliant!
As an aspiring watchmaker, the intro’s clockwork map instantly interested me
Actually, my favorite part of all GOT.
Well done man. I don't watch the show but this opening is attracting me.

For example none comes to my mind
best intro since Cheers
the amount of time it took to create this. My brain hurts just thinking about this from a blender standpoint. Jesus
They're just genious. As de Vinci.

There was an idea, to bring together a group of remarkable people
So..it's all digital. I was hoping they were practical models.

Sam Franks 3Ds Max and Maya, those are the standard for modelling. And they probably did the final touch in Nuke.
Thanks Andre for letting me know.
Any 3d modelling can do this.. i suspect.. Try Blender 3d. its free.
I'm curious to know how they modeled inside this sphere if they started with a plane and spherized it at the end or directly worked in a sphere shape.
@@The_Deaf_Aussie how about cinema 4D?
If they ever make an open world game of thrones game, this render should be used as the world map in the pause menu, change my mind.
So what would HOTD do? Would it be the same opening score? Most likely they'll keep the map for sure, and update as needed for the series.. that's my guess at least
Well, you got one of those right

Lovely
Cool!

Game of thrones is inside a gonolen Dyson sphere
Came here to find out what keyframes to use, but of course, none of that is interesting enough for the viewers, so just don't show any of it...
Whatever D&D dis for season 8 is not a matter
They are one of the best executive producers in the world with great attitute
And then Adobe Premiere has crashed.
And yet, season 8 was a total disappointment.

@@storbokki371 i watched twice the whole season. Everything is ok but personally, I wish s8 had more episodes.
@@darealbrianpark That was not an invitation to cry on my shoulder. 🤣
