I remember when I was young and during occasions, there was always a tub of yogurt in the fridge and there was tandoori. Now I know how my parents use to make it.
I made this using whole chicken (measurements x 4), followed the instructions to the dot even the cooking time and it turned out absolutely delicious and perfectly cooked, exactly restaurant style. I served it with bread, chips and cabbage tamarind salad. Everyone loved it.
He is right. I had to listen 4 times because I was not able to understand the temperature of the oven. The voice is quite soft and the music partially covers it.
When I read the comment before watching,I expected loud, reallg annoying music.I am a caucasion petson from the south, thought music was going to bother me.IT DIDNT..AT ALL :-) Ive watched some seriously annoying, loud background noise. This was pleasant.Thankd for a GREAT recipe!
I love your recipe and am going to try it out tonight. I have one tip for you regarding the smokey flavour that restaurants have in their tandoori chicken. From what I found out, they place all the grilled chicken in a large pan, place a hot piece of charcoal on some foil and pour a teaspoon of ghee over it which produces lots of aromatic smoke, and cover the pan with a tight lid to let the smoke absorb into the meat. This step gives a very fragrant restaurant-style flavour to the chicken. Best regards, Sharon
This came out beautifully, thank you. I scaled it up to batch-cook 2kg of skinless chicken thighs and it was really flavourful. I'll be doing this again soon.
Gracias por el tutorial y por darnos la receta escrita lo aprecio mucho porque asi es mas facil comprar lis I gradients las person que no pertenesemos a la India yo soy de Mexico ❤
May I suggest to include the tandoori masala and garam masala recipe or tell your viewers what brand of boxed masalas you use. Other than that your recipe is on point. I will try it today!
Made this for recipe for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Family favourite!!! Making it tonight. Marinating as I write this. Thank you so much. You have taught me a great deal!
Thanks for the recipe.... Besides strong lemon flavor, the chicken turned out really good..... just like what I get in a good Indian restaurant.. c).. . Next time will cut back on lemon.... but everything else ...spot on.... keep up the good work....
no hindi here either.....Today I tried the same recipe w/ less lemon..... will let you know how it turns out.....Pretty sure it is going to be real good.... :c) incidentally, I did not include the food dye since it is carcinogenic...
Just amazing your recipe is mind blowing I have won the heart of my wife children through their stomach following your recipe. I just keep the video on start cooking pause it when required. And then all is well delicious yummy and appetizers dish is ready. I am really a great fan of you and your amazing recipes. Thank you so much 👍👌👌👌👌👌😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋. GOD BLESS YOU
Using the recipe, I am getting some serious results in making tandoori chicken! :c) one question though : since red food dye carries known carcinogens, can I use fruit based natural red dye instead (such as teaspoon of pomegranate juice)? keep up the good work....
Thank you so much for the quick response.....totally love the tandoori chicken results from your recipe.... thank you again for sharing your knowledge..... :c)
I have no word to thank you 😊 I love your recipe .tandoori is one of my favourite so I cooked often but I never get the taste which I want but today I tried your recipe and it turned out so yummy 😋 and exact taste which I been looking for 😊.thank you so much for sharing your recipe ❤️
Ma'am just a small doubt, you said to preheat the oven at 220 deg.C. So, after preheating while placing the matinated chicken do I reduce the temperature and continue on a lower temperature scale
Hello, I want to get some information on the ingredient you call Red Chilly Powder. In American grocery stores "chili powder" is a dark red powder that isn't too hot, it's used in what Americans call "chili", cooked ground beef with tomatoes, spices and sometimes beans. Is that what you mean or do you mean Hot Chili Powder, such as sold for Indian food? If so I don't think I could handle 1/2 t. of it because it's very hot. Please just tell me which item you are referring to. Thanks!! It's going to be DELICIOUS!
Hello ma'am..very nice recipe..i tried it and its turns yummy..bt only prblm is my chicken masala didn't get roasted well with the chicken infact when we take a bite it falls in like powder..pls suggst some tips fr that..and what mode u hv selected fr making...i hv selected grill mode in otg at 230°c.
Music too fast too loud- drains your voice - love the recipe, but would like to see the ingredients listed as they are many and hard to remember. Thank you! 🤗
Hi, first of all I loved this video. Last time I made this it turned out AMAZING!!! My question is how much of each ingredient should I put if I have like 20 pieces? Like do I just multiply the ingredients x 10 or just increase everything a little bit. I have guests coming over tomorrow and I don't want to mess up. Thank you so much in advance.
Omg, Tandoori chicken is The Best! I thought we meeded some special type of oven, haha. I also like..I think its called Paneer, its green made with spinach. Anyway, thanks for the recipe. I dont have All of those spices but I can try to find them to make this delicious recipe, thanks for sharing. :)
You don't need as much spices to make it,, She has alot of different spices but you can create good taste with less, If you want my spices I use I could tell you
Paneer is a soft cottage cheese very nice if cooked well and usually served with peas “Matar Paneer”. You are thinking of Saag (spinach) and is usually served with potatoes “Saag Aloo” also very good 👌. And it’s pronounced SAAG not Sag as a lot of people seemed to say. Hope that helps
Great video, trying this out at the weekend. Will let you know how I get on. Do you have a video for tikka as well? Also building tandoori oven, how long do you recommend I cook to make sure it’s done? Thanks.

I was going to reply that photo request 🥺
one thing to consider your background music is killing your voice or background music volume is little bit high :)
What music

@Negaar Sayed I call it foreground music. It ruins so many documentaries.

If the lemon flavor seem to strong, try lime juice. The juice acts as a tenderizer and is needed.

2nd one as it is Indian cuisine
That is kashmiri red chilli powder used as a colouring agent, and it's less hot. All Indian stores will have it.
Amazing recipe ... Thank you
Very good 👍

Hi that chicken looks so tasty 😋 I'm going to use your recipe tomorrow 🙂👍
Which tandoori masala did you use?
There was a guy who used to use Tandoori chicken in his Butter Chicken/Tikki Masala and omg it was amazing
Yes, it tastes amazing
Plzzz rply how much dahi grams or table spoon
mam, what should we buy, oven or microwave oven? which work best for kabab, cake etc?

Dry mango powder is also called "Amchur." I bet grilling it on charcoal grill may give a better flavor. I need to try it out.
I made the recipe at home and it was awsome
Hi mam,we should bake or grill?
