    Good vid! Do you have this gazebo attached to the barn at those middle blocks of wood, or did you secure it at the top railing as well?

      I connected it at both spots for extra security. We've had a few super windy storms and it's held strong!

    Thanks for taking the time to show a detailed video like this. What is the width of this Gazebo from leg to leg. The details show 12.1'. Is this correct?

      Hi there. Thanks for watching! I measured out a 12.1' section on the wall and it seemed to match up with my measurements. I didn't measure the finished gazebo, but it fit the section I measured prior well. I assume it matches!

    Is this 8 feet tall or 80" tall? Ive seen both. 🤔

    • @NeedWantBuy
      @NeedWantBuy  Месяц назад

      If I had to guess it's 80" tall in the front. And 8 feet tall in the back. It slopes up giving you extra room in the back.
      I'm 6' and have about a 6" clearance in the front entrance but have a lot of headroom in the back.

    We get a lot of rain in my area...can rain gutters be installed on the end? Otherwise it seems like the water will just run off the roof and on to the deck. My deck is 12W x 30L so I need a system to channel the water properly. Any suggestions?

      It has a triangle shaped gutter system on the front that doesn't let the water fall directly down in front of it. On the sides of the gutters there are caps to put in.
      If you didn't put the caps in, you could potentially DIY connect a gutter run off to direct the water where you wanted. It's not designed to connect a run off, so you would have to be handy. But I'm sure it's possible with a little DIY.
      That being said, my gazebo has never flooded, even when we get hard rains, it stays dry on the inside. The area it is in is in a low spot of the yard and used to flood and have puddles with alot of water.
      Now I only get puddles on the sides. The default gutter system has helped the flooding in my backyard a lot! Hope this helps.

    how did you manage to put the screws on the middle and top most part of the roof without denting them? is it ok climb up and put some weight on the parts of the roof where the beams are?

    • @NeedWantBuy
      @NeedWantBuy  5 месяцев назад

      Very very carefully. First of all, I did dent the roof trying to lean on it with little weight. So I popped that out and decided I needed someone on the inside to screw the nuts while I just held the screws in place. This way I could just use the weight of the drill to hold it and not dent. I stood up on a ladder, held onto the wood slats of the barn and leaned over as far as I could without putting weight on the roof. Where the beams are, you can put a little bit of weight to stable yourself. But be careful. It was the hardest part of the build for sure.
      I also posted a review of this gazebo.
      See: ruclips.net/video/T3vgek3j2Ro/видео.html
      In the review that was one of the things I talked about.
      I wish you luck!

    How many hours did it take?

    • @NeedWantBuy

      It took quite a bit longer since I had to film. My camera kept overheating during the time lapses, so I spread it out over a few days. I didn't track how many hours it took though!

    ? Should have watched your video first lol made same back bar mistake. ? Did u have to be on the roof for last panales and mounting to the wall ?

    • @NeedWantBuy
      @NeedWantBuy  Месяц назад

      I stood half on a ladder and half on the barn wall's cross beams and gently laid on the roof of the gazebo while I drilled in the screws. That was the hardest part because they are easy to dent so you can't put much weight on them!

      @NeedWantBuy thank you we had it up before we saw this. Not bolting it down helped alot and the last roof panal was the only time consuming and most difficult piece to aline took lots of will power to just not drill new last whole. Video helped save us from getting to far with same mistakes even though we made them. Thanks
