The 300 is a good little speaker, but it's not in the X family.

The X600 will have a better sound stage and immersive sound than the Charge 5. It's just not a strong bass speaker.

The Motion+ is a good one, but I think I would choose the X500 for it's features and build quality.

One small thing extra: I believe I saw that the 600 has a headphone jack, whereas the 500 doesn't...? If I'm listening at home, that's kinda handy.
The 600 has an Aux jack, not headphone. This allows you to run a source through the speaker, like say music from your phone in a wired connection. The 500 lacks the Aux jack.

Compared to other speakers at the same price point of the x500 would you say it’s the best for the price? Ex. Jbl charge 5, Sonos roam, Bose flex etc
I would pay a little bit more and get a Tribit Blast.

I would pick the X600 and pocket the savings. The Epicboom is too pricey.

But you're right I probably don't even need it because the Skullcandy probably sounds a lot better and yes I have two of them I have two Skullcandy barrel speakers I just got them a few days ago and they sound really good
