The example with toe is good for learning, but I wouldn't recommend using it as a big tuning knob. Ideally you'll keep it as close to 0 as possible with small deviations if nothing else cures the problems you're having. Also @6:06, while you aren't losing traction, you don't necessarily have too much traction; you just have less front grip, the amount of which doesn't balance well with the traction that you do have. The fundamentals here are correct though, so it should help quite a few people
The difference between understeer and oversteer is which end hits the wall first. If you're hitting nose first, introduce more oversteer. Ass first, give er a little understeer.
Hi, I'm actually trying these methods on an Audi Sport RS3, looks like they work pretty well if combined toghether, I had to adjust them a little bit for my driving style (I tend to go oversteer too much on curve exit), but this video helped me a lot in tuning my car, so yeah they work! BTW, I have the Logitech G920, no driving helps at all in game, I just needed a good setup to enjoy a challenging, still funny experience in Forza. TNX! Oh, aaaand subscribed. ;-)
Hey Aries. Couple of questions. 1) do you have any suggestions for braking points. I would love to learn more and better my times. I play with a wheel and I am a 10th generation forzateer. (All of the forza's).
Firstly I do not use a wheel, I use standard controller, so I apologies if my advise does not work ahead of time. Braking points vary on each driver and how hard your pushing a car. The car weight/type also matters to. Ideally, I would suggest keeping the suggested line on with every car to help measure what breaking patterns work best for your driving style. You can also watch top driver replays on rivals to aid you further
Do you have a solution for if you want more /faster off throttle turn in without making the rear more loose like driving a awd car it takes ages to settle i tried softer springs and arb's stiffer deaccel 0front and 5 rear i usualy get the most from reduce front reb and increase front bump did try brakes on 65 that does it but you cant trailbrake into a sweeping turn maybe its the game
I’ve tried the same settings. Bit of a good difference than my default settings on my Huracan gt3. It still glides from the back and even at low speeds it’s like it wants to glide and sway. And I’m trying to get a good grip from the back tires. But it seems as if it’s not making any difference in the back. I hope it makes sense. Any advice for good track grip tune through entering corners and exiting corners?
Thank you for your technique for tuning. I needed it very badly, because I was setting the setting for anti-roll together. not knowing they work vise verse. This is going to help me greatly when I get back to my console. thank you again buddy.
Max Huynh this is free play mode. After you select your track, load the track up and before you actually go onto the track you will see the option for "Test Drive" from there you can drive on th track, pause during mid race/Test ans tune your car crom there!
@@ariesmotorsports4156 its alright one time i said " that doesn't make any sense its like wiping AFTER you poop"(with your same confidence) when i meant BEFORE. now everyone thinks i have a smelly ass and wont let me forget it. cheers

3:23 So what did we learn? When you can‘t drive your car straight you‘re probably way to high. 😅
Awesome video man, really helpful

Meanwhile this shit is GREAT exactly what I was needing you definitely know your shit. Thanks!
Which is the best to go and tune first? Spring rates > roll bars > alignment?

Try changing the front toe in/out
Does this go with AWD or FWD as well or are there different tunes for such?
thanks so much brotha this helped me alot
Could you do a lotus 99 tune s class ?

No worries my friend! Anytime! I will be Shari g some forza tunes in some video soon so people can see how the number work together on advanced tuning
How do you do those runs where you can restart a turn and stuff on that track, is that free play?
Free play, pick a track and have rewind 9n
@@ariesmotorsports4156 Bro, you’re the man! Super helpful.
Dislike: Weight distrbution and engine position, and torque matter as well.
True but of ypu can't apex.. it doesn't matter.
Wdym by tighten and loosen what gives more grip
Loose is faster with less grip and more wear. Tight has more grip, slower but more stable.. you will have to find the balance for your driving style
K thanks
Love u bro no homo
How are you able to tune in the race?

👍🏾
I always thought a positive rear toe stabilizes the car. Toe in.
Forza has it backwards. The in-out convention is correct, but the sign on the angle is backwards.
Is it possible to tune cars in rivals
Only if the rival variant allows for tuning. Other than that no.
aaaaand hard left *turns right* 5:35 lolz
Yeah I was drinking
