Thank you for the video. I made a list for those who are curious about changing all the bulbs for LEDs: 194 (T10) wedge LED quantity: 5 (this is gonna be your background color so pick the one you want). 74 (T5) wedge LED quantity per color: -Amber: 8 -Red: 5 -Green: 7 -Blue: 1 PS: based on a JAPANESE 1998 Toyota Camry LE.
Thanks for the great video. I love your car. I've had mine for near 10 years. I did a lot to mine in Highschool and now I'm trying to re-do it more professionally with an OEM+ feel. Good luck with your car. it looks great.
Wow ok I was always told Toyota makes things simpler to fix or replace and this is true I need brighter bulbs inside also. Thanks for the video I love my Camry as best as a person can enjoy a car anyhow 👍
I have a 2000 Toyota Camry LE 4 cylinder. You can use 74's leds to replace the rest of the cluster bulbs. This can be done for the ac/heater bulbs as well as the glove box, the ignition also take a 74 as well. What I did was to change the headlights to led. They are from Oracle lighting. V Series led headlight bulbs. I used Sylvania Zevo Super Bright leds. I would like to change the ash tray bulb to led but it takes a different type of bulb. The console shifter bulb is a 194. I plan to change it to led. I put a new Flasher in that workers with regular and led bulbs. It works fine with the led turn signal lights. The dome light in my Camry takes a 4618 led bulb. Not what say in a bulb book. Trust me on this. Since I don't have a spoiler on my Camry the high mount bulb uses a 194 I ordered it in the Sylvania Zevo Super Bright LED in red. I have to comment you on dashboard looks awesome. I'm interested in what else you've done to your Camry.
What if I replace them and they still don’t work? My lights for check engine wiper fluid drive reverse etc work but they don’t work for the odometer or anything else. I also don’t want them to be too bright as to overpower the others.
I asked a mechanic to change the dashboard light, we put green ones on it, which looked very good on Amazon, but when we put them in, they looked very opaque, you could hardly see them. Then I changed to blue ones, this time they look better but they are still very pale, does anyone know why? toyota camry 99 LE
Hello: that is correct. The rest of the bulbs (if you want to replace) are T5s (smaller bulbs). Mine do not specify if they are dimmable; but they are. I am not sure what the lumens are since I do not have the boxes anymore.
@@indodood4198 Thanks! I'm planning to replace all of my '99 Camry's bulbs with LEDs. So far, I have replaced the ones for the headlights, tag, dome, and trunk. Great job on the video!
From what I have seen online, it looks like they're only partially dimmable before shutting off. I like to have the full brightness range, so I guess I may have to stick with the original halogens for the dashboard cluster. Were you able to get the full dimming range, or just full bright and slightly less before they go out?

How did you do the shift light
Great precise information video replacement to led soon coming for my 1998 Toyota camry
Very easy! I didnt even need to unhook the wires as I needed to only replace the "P" and "D" bulb.
Awesome video and awesome results!
Can you still use the dimmer with LED's? The "After" pic looks TOO BRIGHT. It washes out some if the numbers.
I want to ask how many bulbs is needed for the dash? My high beam indicator light is out is there a light for it?
Odometer went back to normal? I didn’t see it when you plugged everything back up
Hello: yes..... everything is back to normal
For a 1997 camry what size bulb is for the dash indicator on letter D please thanks
T5 or 74 wedge led. Or 74 bulb. I fyou get a LED make sure it matches the color (D is green iirc).

Thanks bruh. Super helpful.

Yes, these LED bulbs are dimmable with the knob. Hope this helps.

Is it a T5 or T10 bulb?
The main bulbs are T10 to light up the background. The rest are T5 which are smaller bulbs to light up PRNDL and warning lights. Hope this helps.
@@indodood4198 yes thanks. Looking to do the same as you did in video. Where can you get bulbs like yours? Thanks...
@@boyczk2 eBay, Amazon, etc. Try auxito. They're awesome.

Hi, are the rest of the bulbs T5s, and do the replacements have to specify that they are dimmable? How many lumens are each of the bulbs you used?
