Giving the tow to the guy least likely to punt you is a 500 iq move
One of my favourite tactics, when there are two cars running side-by-side behind me on a long straight within slipstream distance, is to switch between the two, giving neither the full benefit of slipstream and almost always ensuring they're still side-by-side when they reach the next corner, invariably fighting between themselves into the corner and thus allowing me to scamper away 🤣🤣
That dive bomb race 1 100% warranted and 10/10 execution 😂

Dude dive bombed once on the final corner into the back of a guy, then dive bombs another guy and rams him off the track and gets no penalty.
Running that guy into the barrier at the end was so goddamn satisfying to watch. SuperGT is usually trying to be really clean but that move was absolutely warranted and I woulda been mad if he didn't do it.

lolz yeah. That was brutal and perfectly done. Super GT can certainly be a shameful rammer when he wants to be ^^ for knowing how to get away with it "cleanly". That was fantastic.
I don't think it was Christiano Ronaldo or he'd be further upfield, but he did have the aggression in the midfield.

This is probably the best example of repeated competitive racing and sportsmanship I’ve ever seen on your channel. This is what separates GTS from other racing games.

@@trut52 There's gameplay footage, pretty similar to GT Sport. The graphics are still amazing on my base ps4 so I don't mind, I just want the AI to be improved A LOT.
4 years should be minimum lifespan , or we get 1-2 year cycles with nothing new, COD, Madden, etc.

One of my favourite tracks and took place in the D/S lobby, it was actually good racing.
I've never been interested in online racing, but watching your videos showed that it can be fun. It turns out that it's amazing!

I loved the Mclaren cause of the power on the straights! You could pull out of the tow sometimes! But the brakes are bad.

One thing that’s occurred to me, you always compete with people around your skill level. huge respect to you for not doing what Warzone streamers and content creators do which is just bot stomping easy lobbies for cheap views

Steve I just want to say thanks for your videos mate. They have provided great entertainment this year for me and opened my eyes to Gran Turismo, a game I couldn't care about a at the start of the year. It seems much better than Forza for what I'm looking (better online system and cars) so I'm currently getting rid of my Xbox and trying to find a PS5 to get GT Sport.
Personally would say no point to get it as gt7 is coming out soon but it’s up to you.

Last time I saw such a nervous car setup was when I took a BMW 1M with rear toe OUT (default setup) to the Nordschleife. When I landed after the Quiddelbacher Höhe crest, it just yeeted the rear around and put me straight into the barrier.
This is what people have to remember, we are all here for fun, sure its nice to win the race but in the end it gives you nothing, so why ruin the race for others. I love to see such fairness of even giving up 2nd for 3rd just out of fairness. He gained nothing by that and he lost nothing by that - he had his fun and remained completely fair. Love It

I played the Saint Croix track also a lot last week. I don't have a steering wheel just the controller, quite new to the game too, I have tried sooo many quali laps just to get a 2.07.630. Now seeing Super GT just after 15 minutes with a 2.06.576, damn impressive!

Since in most of your videos you don't start from pole, I thought it was quite interesting how your clean driving and focus on taking corners correctly pays off when you are up in front.

If you know,in F1 a Grand Slam is an achievement for the drivers and it goes like this:
When the same F1 Driver is leading the race in every lap,have the fastest lap by the end of the race and of course,win the race,gets a grand slam.

I might have said this before but, it's worth repeating. Why isn't Sky F1 jumping at the opportunity to sign Steve for a couple of races. I just watched the US Grand Prix last night and we definitely need a bit of a shake up in the commentary. Either give Brundle some time off or give Crofty some time off. We need some fresh voices and the way Steve narrates his races here makes me think he'd fit right in. Not to mention it gives Sky an opportunity to get some of more eyes on the races.

I see Steve in either di Resta or Karuns' spot. Probably a Jimmy Broadbent for Brundle or Crofty.
No offense meant at all to Steve but there's a lot more to F1 race commentary than having a nice soothing voice commentating your own driving. Also unfortunately connections in the sport really matter.
Steve is perfect for youtube/twitch but he would need to demonstrate his ability elsewhere.

I usually like the longer races but that third race was excellent!
The short races have their own unique dynamics. There's a lot of tactical juggling in the long ones that's interesting to watch, like the tire strategies and the "slow but steady" mindset that pays off at the end. But in the short ones, the tactics completely change and you're forced to play high-speed chess in order to jockey into position.
