for me, the controller update is huge. Definitely brings the controller users a bit closer to the steering wheel guys. For a casual player like myself, this is great.
@@HattuMöhrchenyeah… but this is due to the very limited physical input, that is possible with a controller, which we cannot change, steering wheel users will always have a slight advantage. But as I said, for a casual player this is totally fine in my opinion.
I go between controller and my T300 RS. Having retried the time trial in sport mode with the TestaRossa, I have been able to find an extra half a second at the least. The balance of the car is generally smoother but you have to be more respectful with the joystick under brakes. Trail breaking has changed due to the ABS and TCS rework, you definitely can’t abuse ABS as much as you use to for turn-in and liftoff rotation, but when you hold the brake near the ABS point you get some excellent rotation mid corner. The reworked TCS is also sooo much nicer, especially given you don’t have FFB on a controller to detect slip. Solid update!
*the dependency on load has been adjusted" I've noticed that cars tend to understeermore noticeabley in tight turns, which makes me think they've tried to make managing the load under heavy braking/cornering more of a thing. Doesn't feel good tbh...you can dance with the car mid turn on sweepers yet have to basically do a 3 point turn to get around hairpins

The car begins to turn a bit later than the stick movement, and we can not brake that much now in low speed with a big steering angle, because the car isn't turning that much this way now, which i think is more realistic. On the positive side, we can now catch the slides much easier, so overally a good update, i think i just need to get used to it.
