Heist has so many small intricacies that it's difficult to capture everything in one video but I think you did a great job covering the basics. I feel like you didn't talk enough about Gianna though. You glossed over using Gianna's discount and how rogue levels affect their unique bonuses but I feel like this one deserves some extra emphasis. Because Gianna's unique bonus is the reveal discount it is really important to scale it up to lvl 6 for a 45% discount (in the video it only shows 20%) You also didn't cover the importance of completing contracts with her to generate reveals. Getting her a +1 all jobs regicide kit lets her run all deception contracts, most counter-thaumaturgy ones (
Yeah I actually had a 5-10 minute section talking a lot more about min-maxing reveals especially with Gianna and bulk buying off of TFT (there were 2 hours of raw footage) but I decided to leave that on the cutting room floor as it is a natural consequence of getting into more optimal end game. I'll pin this comment though for folks that want the extra detail!
@Robert, maybe you know: Question 1: One thing about rogue gear, for some of them the job speed is useless, like Tina's agility animation when opening reward room doors. Basically, the animation cannot be speed up where she crawls and backstab a mob and opens the door. Is that correct or that's bullshit? Question 2: about the Trinkets, maybe you have more knowledge - I only got regal to devine 3 times but the regal drops are nerfed to the ground, so those are useless pretty much. However, the chaos to divine is so extremely rare I even had doubts if it can be self farmed. What are your tips of getting it? I've been running trinket grand heists all league but still haven't seen this trinket mod once. I also use vendor recipe 5 to 1 to get an extra chance on getting a new trinket. I assume that I always need ilvl 83+ on grand heists to even have a chance for the chaos to divine trinket, is that correct?
@@AndrisVilde I got one of each trinket in Kalandra league but I haven't played as much heist this league and I haven't seen either. They are very rare so I was extremely lucky and I eventually sold the Chaos to Divine one for 60 divines in order to buy a mageblood. The Chaos to Divine is 1 in 4700 and only in ilvl 83+ like you guessed. That means if you average 2.5 trinkets per reward room with 4 wing grand heists it's about a 1 in 47 chance per grand heist, which isn't actually that crazy except the rewards aren't as good overall compared to running gems heists. You get a lot of delirium orbs and winged scarabs though so I think people sleep on their value sometimes. The Regal to Divine trinket is ilvl 80+ and 1 in 277, so 17 times more likely to drop so I was pretty unlucky to not get one in the 50 or so grand heists I ran this league. Your other question about Tullina, the job speed definitely helps her move faster through her animation. She can take a good 10 to 15 seconds without job speed but when fully geared with job speed she is in and out in a few seconds. In grand heist she will also benefit from the job speed on your other rogues gear and can get pretty fast. I used to hate heist because of slow animations like hers until I learned how the gear works and found out my biggest complaint could be solved. Hope this helps.

However, to make it more pleasant, I just buy fully revealed and just run 1-2 a day, which is quite relaxing then to do like 10-15 contracts to reveal everything. I tend to alternate between Underbelly and Smugler's Den. Sometimes one or other is cheaper fully revealed. Regarding the trinket reward in each wing - it is random in both, sometimes I get 2-3 out of 4. The one about animation speed + job speed is actually really useful information. I also used to hate how long it takes for some rogues to open the door ). I was lucky to hit the Golden Pot for Replica Grand Heist - got the Replica Alberon's Warpath Soldier Boots, I almost stoped playing due to not enough divs for my build :) Regarding gem grand heists, I agree, they are more rewarding then trinkets, however, the chaos to divine trinket is just one of my personal goal ).
@@AndrisVilde The weighting for the mods can be found on poedb as well as the weighting for all of the heist gear mods which is really useful when trying to craft your own rogue gear. I've spent a few thousand alterations making +1 all jobs tools for most of my rogues and I've managed to sell a decent number as well.
I love your vids man, you think like I think. In that I mean to say, you consider a good logical structure. Zizz did a similar video recently on Betrayal but it was all over the place, not only did he not start with, but never mentioned why you would want to do the mechanic in the first place! I wish more creators made content structured like yours.
One more thing: you can roll your rogues' cloaks with up to 5% chance to not trigger lockdown in grand heists when you break a curio in the reward room. This can add up to 15% chance with 3 rogues and it can be very nice when you can take a second unusual gem or other grand prize as loot with you,,,
I gave it a shot and watched the whole thing. Learning about blueprint reveals and little tricks was nice, since I ran a few blueprints I had before and actually came out with some cool stuff like Divergent Herald of Agony and a Lens. But being unable to portal out to trade is a bit of a turnoff. But it's great that these non-biased "omg this prints mirrors" assessments/guides exist so people can give the mechanic a fair look and decide what they want to do. Since posting on your Betrayal guide I've slapped Jun compasses over every map enjoying nice side profits and also raising my TFT rep to Exalted, so thank you!
That was pretty thorough! Just one thing I didn't find in the video and might be useful. Besides being able to crack additional incubators, trinkets have a mod that has a a chance to duplicate markers droppped from monsters, and one that does the same for smuggler's caches. Those affect regular mapping as well.

Betrayal is the only part of the game I still don't really get at all. If they don't itemise the aisling slams etc like they did with the temple maps next league then I'll have to watch thst guide and learn how to position the syndicate members where I want them
If you fail the the first contract you can get it over and over again.. so you can open a level 45 jewelry box over and over in act 6 to get your resistances and possibly a 5 link from the safes at the treasure room as well as a couple chaos and other gear on league start. It's a good strat for ssf or hcsff
Wow! I NEVER knew you could leave before the alarm goes off to lock in loot. I’ve died so many times from cheesy unseen one shot mechanics on my way out… furious that I lost all my good loot. From now on, leaving to stash found loot before grabbing heist target. Seriously, thank you for that bit of knowledge. I typically don’t like your videos, because they’re geared towards players who can already clear Uber level maps. Builds that are damn near impossible for most players to achieve in any reasonable time frame. Especially if your playing in the severely overpriced ps5 trade market like myself. After 1200 hours of playing, I still can’t clear most t16 bosses and have farmed and sold 11 divines worth of items. So yeah, most of your builds seem damn near impossible for me to obtain. This however… this video is a gem! Thank you. I mean that.
I’m also on Ps5, if you ever need a hand let me know. It sucks but, mirror tier gear for us is just not a possibility. Unless you can play damn near 24-7. The market on console is extremely over priced, like you said. I recommend a RF build or a TR Pathfinder build. I’m able to reliably do endgame content/bossing with them and farm a load of currency.

Early on I'd use the Chaos Recipe Enhancer which will customize your loot filter for you. Later on you can just use any regular Neversink filter. Heist is more about the quality than the quantity of drops so anything you like is fine.
I could use some help with some heist math. I bought a fairly expensive trinket that has the mod 1% chance of chaos orbs to drop as divine orbs instead. so 1. Ive dropped maybe 400-500c since getting it, and I have gotten 2 div to drop. Is the 1% chance more rare of a drop than it sounds? and 2. Does that mod impact chaos stack drops. Like if I drop 3c at once, is there a 1% chance that 3div will drop instead? Also, I noticed you rolled your gran heist to rare. Is there a point to making it rare when quant and qual increases dont effect chest drops including heist chests? Mobs have a better chance of dropping loot, but is it worth the extra danger of getting 1 shot for the chance a mob will drop something

It seems like which are best are still roughly the same, but as a noobie heister I'm not too sure.

40% less alert doesnt mean you can open 40% more chests. it means 100% becomes 60%, to get from that 60% to 100% is a 66% increase in chests you can open. easier to visualize with 50% less. 100 + 50%less = 50, 50 +100% = 100.
true! it was a poorly phrased offhand comment differently phrased for visualization: if each chest gives you 1 alert level, 1* 100 = 100 alert level if each chest gives you 0.6 alert level (40% less), 0.6 * 166.6 = ~100 alert level so you can open 166 chests with 40% reduced for 66% more
I grinded my contact, I bought few precious contacts for about chaos each , saved up my rogue markers, then I realized I don't have reveal discount so I bought more content and got reavels , finally did the lock-picking blueprint, got 25 raw chaos, 20 stack card and died because of shit pathing, lost about 95 c and other currencies, wasted 2 hours 😭
i dont really understand why you would start at lvl 58 (cant even do chaos reciepe) is it because u can basicly start the heisting stuff more early and get more money or why ? like dosnt it make way more sense if u progress to act 10 get merc lab and all that extra skillpoint to then farm heist way more save/better/faster ? thats like 10 skillpoints or somehting u would miss
That's when random item chests and double box rewards show up, also chaos recipe is at 60 so it becomes valid really quickly. Zones can drop at +1 so you can just do 59 if you want to be careful. I'm not an infinite heist expert but what's on that slide is what I was told be someone who is.

Am I the only one who can't survive the escape? I'm like, 12 levels higher than the mission, too, but everything on the alarm has mega HP and mega damage. I didn't copy a build off of the internet, but I can handle the story just fine. Is there something I'm missing?

1:42 you are not talking "AT" me, you talking "to" me! 7:37 FIrst cache I did not get markers, the way you presented it seems like markers are a guarantee
English is my native language. Talking "at" implies being overly explanatory and is often used in a self-deprecating manner to indicate self awareness of the lack of dialogue being allowed in the conversation. I believe that, previously, your first cache did always give markers. If yours didn't that is either a bug or a change in functionality.

I'm new to this, when you reach max alert, do bad guys spawn forever? They seem to have infinite reinforcements.

i dont really understand why you would start at lvl 58 (cant even do chaos reciepe) is it because u can basicly start the heisting stuff more early and get more money or why ? like dosnt it make way more sense if u progress to act 10 get merc lab and all that extra skillpoint to then farm heist way more save/better/faster ?

That's when random item chests and double box rewards show up, also chaos recipe is at 60 so it becomes valid really quickly. Zones can drop at +1 so you can just do 59 if you want to be careful.
I'm not an infinite heist expert but what's on that slide is what I was told be someone who is.

awesome Video ! what baffles me, watching this now (currently Crucible League is running) is how a mechanic like Heist can exist and something like Crucible.... the difference in depth is insane to me.. Was Heist like this on release or did it get many new Updates? Did they have more time when creating Heist?

Am I the only one who can't survive the escape? I'm like, 12 levels higher than the mission, too, but everything on the alarm has mega HP and mega damage. I didn't copy a build off of the internet, but I can handle the story just fine. Is there something I'm missing?
character level really doesn't matter, you just need solid defenses. it's worth looking up a tanky character to understand what that means.

7:37 FIrst cache I did not get markers, the way you presented it seems like markers are a guarantee
English is my native language. Talking "at" implies being overly explanatory and is often used in a self-deprecating manner to indicate self awareness of the lack of dialogue being allowed in the conversation.
I believe that, previously, your first cache did always give markers. If yours didn't that is either a bug or a change in functionality.

why i made this is explained in the intro. im aiming to make a library of guides that are a [mostly] one stop reference point for people to learn poe instead of random guides of varying quality spread out all over youtube. in fact, this guide has been specifically requested by many folks over the past few months due to how much has changed since the mechanic one introduced to the game.
