I’m having the same trouble with mine. I ordered the metal diffs hopefully fixes the problem. I only ran it twice before they went bad. Like your videos.
It's a fun truck. If you order the metal diffs, double check the bearing diameter. I have heard that the newer vehicles have a bigger O.D. on the bearings. Thanks for watching and cheers!

I'm sure aliexpress sell the centre shaft gears but metal , ideal to use with alloy diffs , I'd re installed a diff wrong way around had a tug of war with itself

How do you get the rear box apart? I removed all the screws but it won't budge. The front was easy, but that back one seems to be glued/welded.
Try to heat the screws. They might have used loc tight. Other than that, four screws and maybe a little pry. Sorry for the late response. Cheers
I need help, urgently. The wltoys 284131 arrived today. I charge the battery to the maximum, and when I go to turn it on and it connects, it turns off when I put the car cover. Can you tell me what's going on please?
Searching to see what it was, I found that when I move the cable where the battery is connected to the car, it turns off automatically. Just by lowering the plugged in cable a little bit, it turns off.
I would chech the battery connection at the esc. Also make sure the body isn't hitting the on/off button. If the wires get in the area. It will hit the button. Hope this helps and let me know. Good luck and cheers
I bought my k969 yesterday, i used it for 15 minutes and it worked fine but after charging the steering is working but the throttle isn't working, LED on receiver isn't lighting up, but the BINDthink is blinking. what do I do?

Try to rebind your radio, check the motor wires and connections, and last, make sure the battery is fully charged. If not fully charged, it won't run the motor. I hope this helps and good luck bud. Let us know what happens!

Hopefully you found a lot better info .. both diff needs removing and fixing before you use it.

Yep! I get about half way through the included battery and will let it cool down for a bit. Also pay attention when you pick it up... you will definitely know you touched the motor! Hahaha! Thanks for watchin and cheers.

The wheels were too tight from the factory
You can buy ally motor mounts .. I have ordered but very slow from aliexpress but with ally motor mount that should suck out a ton of heat not to mention the mount will be screwed to the ally chasis
the motor heating a ton is also due to the problems with the sticky diffs and plastic sprues in the gearbox\drive train. the motor and esc heat up more than they should because of the shitty level of quality of the plastic having extra plastic that gums it all up.
mine is brand new, and only works at 75% throttle and up because the diffs and drivetrain are so sticky and i'm looking for a guide how to open up the gearbox.
don't get me wrong, the car is great, and fast, but it's not easy to control when you're having to nearly floor it just to overcome the friction on the gearbox.
maybe i got an especially bad one, because, like i said, i can't use slow\medium throttle at all. the car just won't move until i give it 75%+ throttle. Reverse only works half the time, because the car doesn't want to start moving. and when i take my finger off the throttle, the car stops on a dime, as if i braked hard.
Does it still run good and do the parts break easily/often?

You shouldnt even use this car before removing both diffs and fixing them ... if shocks dont work fix it .. no point putting it back together knowing its not working ..
