Palm Springs Aerial Tramway | Hiking the Desert View Trail

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway ascends from 2,643 feet to an elevation of 8,516 feet to its mountain station in the Mt. San Jacinto State Park. At the top, one can find spectacular views of the Coachella Valley and the nearby San Jacinto peak. There are miles and miles of hiking trails. The Desert View Loop trail is an easy, manageable hiking trail that is only 1.5 miles. Notch 1 through 5 along the Desert View Trail provide amazing views.

Should be able to as far as the tram operating and stuff. Just keep in mind the high elevation and check the weather. Anytime I’ve gone in the past I always check their website to see what’s going on. Their link is in the description if you want to check it out.
