Just happened to have this pop up in front of me tonight and I had to continue to view it since I lived in PS over 30 years ago and also lived in an Alexander built home on N. Orchid Tree. But in the beginning of the video I forgot about the subject matter when my mouth dropped over the 1970 Chrysler 300 Convertible in that color combo! Beautiful! As well as your house. My father was and I am a car guy and he had the same car in white/white/green with the Hurst Hood and trunk deck (but not a Gold/White Hurst model) and not only are those houses classic but of course, that 300 is also! So glad I watched this!

I should be commenting on the house, the furnishings, and the home owner, but the dog has me in stitches....... What a comedian! He should have his own channel.

Just loving the design, but I have to add, Dan Palmer was also an architect with William Krisel. Please, don’t leave him out! I had the pleasure of meeting him when I worked on their 1st built home built together right out of college in Sherman Oaks for their attorney. I have a video of that somewhere. I’ll look for it. But, just a note, Palmer was the true non ego brain behind the designs. Krisel was very egotistic. Let’s give credit where credit is due.

This reminds me of a neighborhood in Alexandria, Va, There used to be a Tv show for children every morning, I think it was Mrs Frances' or Mrs Connie's morning nursery class. She lived in one of the houses and I think the houses was very similar to these show here, lots of glass.

Although it isn't my personal choice of aesthetic, I can clearly appreciate the design of that era. Very iconic when seen anywhere.

I've always liked midcentury modern architecture, but in the desert, I'd think with all that glass, it would cost a fortune to cool.
Perhaps replacing it with low e double glazing would help, and using swamp coolers instead of airconditioners would make it liveable.
