Some have kindly corrected my error in the video that Holden and Stephanie Powers were married when they were actually dating partners. Thank you! People living in this neighborhood have said they do recall them spending time together at his Palm Springs residence when they both wanted to get away from their LA area homes, usually on weekends and in the winter, and enjoyed the desert together riding dirt bikes and visiting their favorite dining spots in town.
Thanks for showing those beautiful examples of advanced architecture.Besides watcing them we can picture the personality of the owners. We can see Holden liked living in a desertic, isolated place nevertheless keeping an eye on his relatives. He was a family man in spite of his adventurous life.
@@Graciela-dx6if Thank you for the generous words, so happy you enjoyed the tour! Perfectly stated about their personalities. I have an update on this video coming later today, stop by if you get the chance!
Great video, I went to a pool party many years ago at the Deepwell home before it went through the major remodel. It was much like it was when holden lived there, decor and all. Also, sorry to break it to you but the Southridge house you were showing was not Holden's. He lived at 2433, 2 houses further up on Southridge Dr. I went to a cocktail party there when it was owned by Allison Janney and her husband. I also know the real estate agent who sold the house for Janney. Anyway, interestingly the house directly below the one you showed belonged to Suzanne Sommers. She and her husband moved there after selling their sprawling mountainside estate in the Mesa neighborhood. Unfortunately, she passed away while living there only a year or so.
@PSPguy2 Thanks for this excellent info! Wow, I got the address right but filmed the wrong house on Southridge! Lol I’ll make a correction video, appreciate your insights! I have a Suzanne Somers video where I show this house. Sad she didn’t get to enjoy it for very long.
Holden loved living in contact with nature.Since his youth he was usually sunburnt and dont forget he lived in Kenya great part of hos life .Sun exposition ages skin.People in the eEquator in their fifties look like eighties.Thats why Holdens skin aged prematurely while his body kept athletic.Check it in his last film SOB.
