Which one's your favorite? 😍
Would be awesome to check out those Friedman amps.. Great vid. 🤘🏻😁
Dave Friedman literally had no idea who you are 😂😂. He was as lost as the Neural guys were trying to find the venue.
Great to see Ignazio from Jensen Speakers get into high gain speaker designs. We need more speakers to rival the V30. I thought all the NAMM booths you chose to feature were all quite good for the channel. I sort of wonder what 'grumpy' Glenn Fricker first remarked at the MLC booth, that you were forced to speed up the audio to chipmunk speed?
Definitely SE Electronics. I own two of their microphones, the SE X1S and the SE8. They’re incredible, and I don’t say this lightly. I will buy at least one more this year, one of their ribbon mics. I was pleasantly surprised to see they made a microphone with Rupert Neve. I didn’t know that.
You 😁
Speaker tests would be great.
Best coverage! All the details, straight to the point! You’re the man!
You HAVE to get one of those Friedman Amps to try! You’ll love them
I will! Thanks Warren!
Great to see you! Safe travels Smokey🎉
Sorry for being so busy in that moment Manny! 🤘❤️
Awesome! I liked the Arachnid cabs dude, and excited for IRs from them! Also the MLC Amps at the end. I love your AMP SIM! Keep up the killer work! Cheers from Massachusetts! 🤘🤘
One of my favorite comfort RUclipsr channels!
Love all the videos! I have the original preamps from the 1950’that the warm audio pre amp was based on. I think they may have gotten the design and sound pretty close.
I think it's based on the amp of a 60s tape machine. Sounds great anyway!
The guy that explained hid Gary Holt cab's was on point. He shared dimensions! That was key!
It was super cool meeting you at NAMM and talking near the Lichtlaerm booth
The channex strip sounded amazing conceptually
Going to be amazing. Elysia stuff is incredible
It has more features than you would need. Swiss Army knife!
Thanks Kristian!
Great meeting you and all the German friends at NAMM. It was a blast!
Rob at Arachnid cabinets is a buddy of mine, so proud to see him on here! His cabinets are pretty incredible
Rob’s great! 🤘
12" Silverbird Jenson speaker sounds the best so far. Nice bright but smooth and focused tone.
Yes
I would have suggested a boosted butterslax.
But also LOL at Glenn at the end.
"Firewood" -- lol! I love the pride you have for your Country btw. Favorite gear is something I already own, WA-2MPX. I love it and copy your trick for character distortion on room mics. The other was the Audient board, but I have no room and honestly no need (at this point) for something like that, but, sexy. Also the SPL headphone amp/DAC -- look at that one hard. Great stuff brother -- thanks!
Thanks man! Don't take that Germany thing too seriously. I love diversity!
The new Jensen speaker and Arachnid cab IRs sound interesting. Cheers!
Definitely the Jensen booth and the arachnid guitar cabinets. You’ve definitely got to try that Jensen out, on the channel!! The way he explained that speaker I am curious to hear how that top end really sounds. Great video!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Me too!
the NAMM reminded me I`m still waiting for your Brunetti profile for NAM lol
Nice Endgame pedal! And the cabinets looked great
Those cabs look badass for sure! I still need to play one in the studio!
I have the sE RNR1, amazing mic, especially on guitars, cabs or acoustics
That small microphone thingy, looked cool. We all know, you want to test that new Jensen speaker 🤘😎🤘
Haha! Bet you could tell 😜
I have to try the sE Electronics BL8! I'm already using the V7X on snare and I have to check out how the BL8 sounds together with Audix D6 🤘
Can't wait to se you do a video on the SE BL8 and how it compares to the Shure B91, bonus if you include the Behringer knock off 19A
Would love to see you try out that new Jenson speaker
Pretty sure that’s gonna happen
Excited to hear those new Jensen speakers.
good to see some studio stuff instead of just guitars
@kohleaudiokult was good to catch you on the long walk between buildings.
looks fun.
Exhausting fun it is!
i like your title...this was the first time I've been back since covid and I've gone just about every year for the last decade.. This year I wasn't planning on going and didn't have a pass - but laste minute decided to go and YES I CRASHED it using one of my old badges :)
Haha! Well done
Kristian-thanks for your time!
More than welcome!
Hey bruther what's up ??🤟🤟🤟😝😝😝🎸 Yea idk man there's sooooo much going on there with recording stuff and idk how you didn't get a migraine headache lol from all that but wow how mindblowing 🤟 was some of that stuff God that's literally a whole world all in itself ya know what I mean?? I watch Glenn's RUclips channel about his studio and the topics he discuses pretty similar to YOUR SHOW i actually watch both so it was funny to see you guys shooting the shit when he was sitting on that couch behind you while you were checking out that camouflage flying V 🤟!!! Yea that kickdrum attachment that installs into the drumhead was a simple concept compared to the rest of the booths you covered but idk the kickdrum thing I thought was and is a great buy ang genius to have !!!! And your channel is super cool because your knowledge of sound and electronics makes you somewhat of a ""audio physicist "" 😝😝😝💯🙏🙏 I try to absorb any information you cover or discuss because I don't want to be "just" a drummer or a guitar player I want to go beyond the standard and have knowledge of how it operates, problem solving etc.....oh and those Jensen speakers silver bird 12's are now on my list I'm going to see if I can find one online and throw it into say one of my combo amps for a different chugga chugga 😝🎸😝🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟
Thanks man! Looks like you have just the right attitude! 🤘
Thank you man and the tour you did awhile ago at hapas guitars was one of my favorites....I started buying some fuzz pedals and blending that shit lol with other types of pedals to experiment with it...guys like you I can relate to learn from and best of all learn the things that are going to take me and the kult 🎉to the next level of the metal of death my brother 🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟🤟 Gary Indiana (USA) by the way here dude ☠️🤪🤪
I was just looking at getting a Warm Stereo MPX so I'm stoked to see you're liking yours
Check out my fun video from last week to hear it!
@@KohleAudioKult Will do. I appreciate all the work you do
@@BrendonKPadjasekI’m a big fan of mine too
@@Producelikeapro I just watched your The Cure cover using it! Very sick. I'm mostly going to be using it for Drum sample libraries
13:17 !!!! YES !!!! AUDIENT PLS! Stereo!
Great video!! What guitars were at the MLC booth?
🤘💀🤘
RUF guitars
Can’t wait to get my hands on the Jensen Silverbird 12!! Been loving their newest speakers these past few years 🔥🔥🤘🔥🔥
I'd have thought an MLC amp with one of those Arachnid cabs might be a reasonably evil combination! 😈
Glenn looks like he's isn't having much fun. Maybe he's thinking about inventing a pedal that he already saw at one of the booths. 😜
Haha!
But yeah MLC / Arachnid would be a sick looking combo!
Super interested in the new Jensen Speaker … I really hope our mate Kohle will satisfy my thirst for IRs ;)
Pretty sure they will send me one or two! Stay tuned
I love the new Mini Diezel VH Tube Amp
I was actually on the plane with Peter from Diezel and went to the booth 5 times to do a video with him. I never found him.
Welcher von beiden Peters? Dann geht es ihm hoffentlich gesundheitlich gut und ist vielleicht mal wieder bei seinen Cali-Customers unterwegs am basteln… Dankeschön für die Info! Greetz
So cool! You missed at least one German booth, Lichtlaerm Audio (easily one of the best pedal (and now amp/cab) makers in the world.
Found it after filming and we had a beer togther!
I already showed his amp in my Guitar summit video last September.
That new Jensen speaker is mandated to be reviewed the soonest! 😊
jensen speakers my favorite \m/
NAMM is back in force, as evidenced by the ridiculously expensive beer! Did you check out Neumann's immersive/Atmos room? Impressive demos! Hope your trip home was safe, and that you didn't get NAMMthrax!
So far so good!
And yeah. Those Atmos demos are always intense
How many times can you fit your INTRO/Jingle in a video? Kohle: YES!
Chugga, chugga!
Did you drop by to see WES AUDIO and Cranbornes new units? both Hardware with the plug in control :)
So much to cover I missed those two this time. Great brands though!
The one man German Embassy, immer toll!
Last time I went to NAMM show was 33 years ago.
Austrian Audio are amazing!
Absolutely!
Heey, Glenn was in the end wtf!
:)
You should try a Friedman JJ Kristian. They are killer amps. The Elysia channel strip looked amazing. I noticed in another video that Cranbourne had a similar concept with an EQ that also looked pretty sweet.
Yeah, the Cranborne EQ seems cool too. Too much gear for one video!
Fucking nice shirt
🤘💀🤘
Great band! I produced their latest EP. Highly recommended!
You visited Nolly? 🤩 Where‘s the video about that?
We filmed an entire kourse for my academy. Still working on it!
Any IR's you recommend for Metal to use with my Headrush Core?
What about my IR packs with Eminence Digital or Bogren Digital? They’re both industry standards.
@@KohleAudioKult Im a newbie here with all this modeling stuff. Just order my headrush core and for all I read almost everyone recommend to dished the factory sounds for customs one like IR etc. How should I approach this, Thank you!
Mr Friedman didn't seem really convinced 😅
I bet he never checked the channel. He should
Always top notch quality stuff from you Kristian
I caught that vibe from Friedman, also
I had a nice talk with him. He actually came to me to tell me he loves the channel! All good!
@@KohleAudioKult very nice, then 👌
He’s a great guy, very focussed and all about making great amps! And a fan Of Kristian’s
This man got the best tattoo in the entire NAMM
That tattoo on his left is insanely good
Deine Messevideos kosten mich ein Vermögen! 😂
😁😩
Friedman missed a trick 😅😂
Silver bird Jensen? Hummmm.👍
Please try out the new Jensen speaker and make a video!
That’s on the list
NAMM vs Guitar Summit video please!
Guitar Summit wins hands down!
Way more relaxed, silent and elegant.
Kohle! Sorry the beer was so pricey! These kind of conventions and events always seem to make the beer cost skyrocket. I happen to work at/make the beer you pointed out (Stone), we do our best to keep the cost to consumers pretty low; but god damn beers were expensive that weekend. I was there on Saturday night and my wallet is not happy either.
Thanks for the reply!
What about a Stone beer endorsement for my next Namm visit then? 🤔🤘
@@KohleAudioKult I don't have the authority to make an endorsement happen, but I can definitely provide a case or two next year. I'll keep you posted on Discord if I can snag some other goodies too.
10 dolla 50! 😂 the struggle is real
Later that evening at the House of Blues they had beer for 17$. This country is crazy!
@@KohleAudioKult Cali isn’t the best gauge. It’s a funny farm down there. There is some good food for decent prices though
My favorite gear was the BEER! 🍺
Yeah but US$10.50? WTF!
@@rockostiffredi4276 average price in California unfortunately. It would be $17-20 at a sporting event
Well everybody is getting fleeced in California it seems. Time to move to Oregon....
$10 for beer, was it the Finland booth? 🤣 Over here beer actually costs that much.
Help!
Finally someone covering Namm other than guitar shit. 🤘
Like a child in a toy shop 😊
I do that for a living! How cool is that?
Kohle really leaning into his schtick on this one lol
Don't drink and film ;)
Everyone knows AI is the future. Kick it up a notch-Maybe a bunch of Christopher Walken's roaming about (w/ cowbell) telling everyone to watch their tone.
idk about those Jensen speakers lol
I'm sure Kohle will demo them when they are out so we can do more than speculate.
Pretty sure I will
Did you bump into Ola?
We quickly saw each other but were busy. Next time!
Ótimo video! Sugestão: Essa vinheta (riff) a cada capítulo é bastante repetitivo. Sem isso ficaria perfeito!
looks like I didn`t miss much
unless I missed it too
I would like to know one thing. Was there something German?
Haha! Good question!
Whoa NDSP didn’t show up? 😮🤔🙁
Nope. I think there was trouble ;)
@@KohleAudioKult hopefully not because they couldn't showcase something because it wasn't working... like plugin integration
@DeathMetalDevin nothing like that. But I just heard rumors. Nothing I wanna post in public
@KohleAudioKult preciate u making the rounds. Hoping to come to next year's and meet all u guys
Yeah...$10.50 for beer is unfortunately something that tends to happen in the US. I'm glad that Utah relaxed in it's beer/alcohol laws, but it's still fuckin stupid
In Germany you can drink beer with 16 and the beer is cheap. You end up looking like me though 🤣
Instead of "marvelous" (like Warren) perhaps you can run with "glorious." 😄
Brutus ain't going to Hades.
Neural might incur a public hazard lawsuit over that difficult-to-see long narrow black brand logo sticking out right at eye level.
that friedman guy either doesn't know metal or doesn't know the friedman line. lol
That's Mr. Friedman himself!
Where's the legendary Epiphone?...
What's legendary about Epiphone?
Love your work and your videos man! But just a little side note: That video breaker you us every single minute is driving me crazy 😂 Using less of it would be nice
I'm trying to hypnotize you! ;)
Hahaha good one! Great video anyways dude! @@KohleAudioKult
Ready for some satanic camaraderie? I'll just need to see your pass... Oh, OK. Welcome! First time?
The reverberations of the damned souls reveal unique transients and haunting mids, with a subtle decay. It's a rotting decay, but tasteful at the same time. My only suggestion would be a little EQ and a splash of compression, things are sounding a little distant. Nevermind! Everything is sounding closer and tighter. Is someone eating my legs? I just dropped my pass...
Buy a console ☝️☝️☝️
finally someone!
@@KohleAudioKult seems like I‘m the only one 🤷♂️
man, this dude has so much german pride... I wonder what he thinks of the great germany from the 30s and 40s...
I think you didn't catch the irony here.
This is fun and has nothing to do with nationalism.
@@KohleAudioKult really sounds like it is.
this is irony for 4 yr olds at best
