The 1st gen now has the rotating bezel via a software update.
My software is up to date and mine doesn't have a rotating bezel....

Holy shit! Really? That's actually crazy, but I shouldn't be so surprised. Just never knew it had the necessary components. That's cool.
so pay more for Active 2 you will get 1.more sensors add 2. built in speaker to make call and answer from watch 3. bezel (now updated on Active) 4. can use viice control on watch for watching YouTub or weather with out touching. 5. ECG (not sure will work in the future ) And even more money for LTE version.
now have to think what do I need Active 130 Dollars and Active 2 add for 4 - 5 more features cost 260 dollars (Aluminum ) 300+ Dollars for stainless LTE .

Not sure if it has already been mentioned but ecg is measured the hearts electric rhythm and not the blood pressure. I would definitely go the active 2 with the bezel as I love it on the sport I own
Just bought the samsung active 1 gen yesterday and I excited to used it because I had a fibit versa for awhile now so I'm am very excited to see how the samsung active 1 does because I could not afford the active 2 because the active one was on rollback at walmart for 140 dollars and active 2 was 250 something so I didn't want to spend that kinda of money so I hope the active 1 is just as good as the active 2.

I have the first generation and with the second or third update the first generation recieved the rotating bezel and the cool watch face. It just stopped pairing. I have done everything to get it to pair again and it's not. I hope it will be fixed with an update.

when I bought the 1st gen watch I was seriously disappointed with it's size, now not even a year later there is a watch, bigger and almost double the price (South African)……………...NO thanks. if we trying to keep up we will go broke sooner than we can say SAMSUNG
