- Let's have a look at some miniature from Japan! We'll open Re-Ment blind boxes and gachapons, while tasting some Japanese snacks. I'll also open some fan mail, which comes with some Mini Brands.

The little unmarked balls are called gachapons. They're like machines that you put however much money in and get a random ball (and of course you get to choose which collection you want). Since you live in Skokie, if you've ever been to Woodfield Mall they actually have some gachapon machines if you're ever interested (although they don't seem to refill them very often, they're always pretty empty when I go).
Mitsuwa Marketplace has them too! Its in Schaumberg

The oil stove is highly accurate. They’re also called a Kerosene heater here in the US. I had them growing up as our only source of heat in the 80’s. Just look up Kerosene heater and you’ll see it’s a good match

We used to call them '7 layer cookies' or bars - very easy to make and so rich. Just google that and up it pops. Sweetened condensed milk, graham cracker crumbs, chocolate and butterscotch chips, pecans or walnuts, coconut and bake. Could not be easier.
Japan does have the most unique items and they’ve always been known for their variety and also amazing quality (including thoughtfulness in packaging).
Glad to see you enjoy them! (Now I’m hungry for snacks haha, usually you put disclaimers when you review some food-related stuff 😛)

Gachapons are very cool! 💕 there are building with several thousand machines with gachapons. You select which machine you want. The machine dispenses blind balls (from the choices seen on the front of that particular machine ). Japanese also like Kit Kats in different favors. Rement are very cool minis!

i thought watching these vids would help curb my addiction to buying minis (shopkins and mini foods within minis are my favorites).. since i could live vicariously through watching someone else and enjoy the element of surprise. lets just say its slowly starting to feed it more haha. keep up the awesome work though, we all get to be kids with these things!
edit, i already get a monthly snack subscription box and do unboxing vids with my friend tina on youtube (who used to get japancrate snacks, but has switched to inku boxes).. but if i could get a mini brands monthly sub box id die of happiness!
HAH! A Potty Parrot!! LOL The other one is "shadow puppets".. I remember making a bunny head when I was a kid. I never liked pringles. As they are all the same shape, they are not sliced off the potato... they are made from a mash and always had a hint of fake or potato flake flavor to me. Real potato slices are the best! If you get the recipe for those bars.. will you share it? The silver suitcase would be a cute way to store business cards!

I love trying snacks from anywhere, love all the funky flavor chips Japan has. Once in a while I take a little trip an Asian market or Indian market nearish me & just get a bunch of new to me goodies. 10% of stuff I get is too spicy for me lol.

I love my collection of mini brands and my trick is to think about ones you don’t want but you do want them so it will most likely give you that one that you want your welcome

The balls are gachapon, it's available in a machine where you put $1 coins in and turn the front gear. There's tons of it here and it can get really expensive. Ranging from $4-$8 per ball then it will come out random. Lol.
Pringles in Asia and America is different indeed. It's much smaller and lesser seasoning compared to the American one. The taste is more subtle and not too over powering. There's two versions in my country and my kids prefer the Asian version of the sour cream.

Shame on MB. I was really impressed with everything they sent you. I wish I could eat things that are hot. I get such heartburn. I'm surprised you don't weigh 400 lbs. Lol. I think my favorite item were the hands that made a animal once you shined a light on it. I have heard that the snacks are so much better than ours. I know they offer boxes from Japan that contain different snacks. Also the sugar snacks are as strong as the USA. I was obsessed with re-ment. Not so much anymore. I hope you had a great New Year. I paused the video and looked around Sugoi mart for a while. Really cool shop, but a little too heavy on the branded items, and none of the food items have an ingredient list. Not so safe for someone like me with lots of food allergies. Fun though! This was an entertaining package opening, I hope more businesses find your channel and send you stuff with no strings attached. BTW, fun thing about those fake nails. They actually come off separate and can be used on Barbie sized dolls to add fake nails. That'd be really hard to do and not lose them though!

When you buy things from a gachapon machine, the machine is marked with signs of what is inside. They do not have to put stickers on the actual balls when the machine is marked.
I love miniatures, especially Snoopy Re-ment.
The mini said you weren't sure was Pokémon is, he's one of the newer Pokémon, dressed up as Pikachu. He's also an electric-type mouse just like Pikachu.

Hi Ally! Yeah, I noticed it during editing and spent quite a few hours trying to remove it. Initially it's a lot worse than that, and I'm glad at least I got it to a "watchable" level.😅 At least now I know why it happened. Anyway, thank you for letting me know. There's this buzzing noise, probably coming from your mic as the sound spikes when you speak, that makes it incredibly difficult to watch this video. I skipped through to see if it went away, and it seemed to finally at the very end of the video after you stopped using the facecam and even after it came back, but I couldn't make it through the main content of the unboxing which I'll admit is pretty disappointing. In the future, audio programs like Audacity allow you to take a clip that only has the sound you want to remove and then remove it from the entire audio track. You can even get a bit more complex and remove a specific frequency. It's not perfect, but would definitely help.
Sorry that I can't watch this one, but I look forward to the other content you will put out this year!
