I was able to find a few of the emails with a schematic for the installation on 579 Peterbilt. However, I wasn’t able to find out how to post the PDF on this thread, or even upload it in video. So I will try to give you all the information I think you’ll need. Truck Fridge Order Dept. orders@truckfridge.com (this is who I received the email from with the schematic.) P386 F/O Fridge PWR (the tag on the connector for the cigarette lighter input) I took a picture of that cigarette connector and sent it to the email above. The sent me a schematic and provided the correct plug with shipment. The plug didn’t align exactly, so since there were only 2 wires from the connector on the fridge and 2 on the cigarette lighter connection, I spliced, twisted and taped. It has worked well ever since. I now have a soldering gun and heat shrink, so your question as actually provided means for new content. I will solder them this weekend. Thanks 🤩
You should really have the factory top bracket to lock it in place and extend the life of the unit, I work for indel B or Truckfridge if you want the part number so you can get it from Peterbilt.
Without even seeing your face and the thumbnail of the food in the refrigerator i knew you had to be black because we will definitely put chipotle in the refrigerator
Is there a main power switch somewhere inside the Pete to turn power to refrigerator on & off? Where is it? OR is the knob inside the Refrigerator the only power switch?
Frost in the freezer section is going to actually slow cooling. Keep Frost low by defrosting (just like a refer trailer), close curtain in sleeper and open cab vents or turn on sleeper a/c at low setting. Meats spoil in approx. 6 days in lower section of fridge in the summer. Cooling is optimal while truck is running. Once you shut down, prepare for very fast food spoilage if left unattended for 2 days. An APU works wonders in this case. During cooler or winter weather, you have no worries whatsoever, except slushy beverages. It's worth it. I've had the same unit since this video.
I would recommend this brand. However, these refrigerators are made to spec for Semi Trucks. So they come in the box with the condensors and evaporator exposed, because those internal parts are covered up when the unit is placed in the cabinet. Something to consider. Those Walmart units work just as well, if you don't have a cabinet made for these and they're only about $100. +1 502-863-4536 is the number to TruckFridge. They helped me order the right unit for my truck.
No. There's no additional storage in the fridge beyond what is shown in the vid. However, there are different types of units for each type of truck. A unit that fits a Volvo will be different from what will fit a Pete. Truckfridge.com will show you what you have for options. Hope this helps.
@GeorginsMoreno I have nothing bad to say about Landstar. There are team loads and you can run a variety of freight platforms. 35% gets old after a while for deductions, but overall, it's good. Suggest you buy your own trailer asap.

My company unplugged mine cause it runs battery they said I'm local but still nice to have I have exactly same truck

What’s the best temp to keep things cool ? I have the same one .
I keep my fridge at 7. You will need to turn it off from time to time, so that the frost can melt. Easy.
