I read in a recent interview that the place Charlie went to hike is actually where they shot a lot of Mordor scene in the original trilogy films. So, here Charlie is already giving away way too much spoilers about who his character really is. 😂

Galadriel and Halbrand are very much connected due to their destinies, with a lot of tension. A spark is floating between them m. Love their interaction. Great actors.

The problem is this is not an "Amazon original" series but a creation of a talented writer who pretty much created the modern high fantasy genre. They just took recognizable names of his story and completely changed the pre-existing well-written characters and their stories. Galadriel is an elf and since you are not aware of it let me share with you that elves are not like humans, they select a partner for life and they have an actual spiritual bond with them so do with their children. This bond has a very real effect on them for example the parent can "fade away" while their children grow up. Galadriel at the time of the show has a husband and children so this "simpathy for the devil" crap is no just one of the least creative ans cheap ideas they could have come up with but it also makes no sense because Galadriel as an elf would no drool over Sauron when she has a husband and child.. Also her husband was not missing so hey changed this too just to be able to give the auudence who is not familiar with he story this crap they can "ship". The problem is that Tolkien has millions of fans acroas generations who read his book and knows how bad this show is because a bunch of people without talent tried to rewrite a masterpiece. They could have come up with an original series and that show would be medicore but they woule have the liberty to do with the story whatever they want. You cant rewrite a story that already exist and what is beloves by many for a good reason. They wanted quick bucks without building up a story so they uaed recognizeable names but the characters are not recognizable. Sauron was also evil there is nothing grey about his story. When Morgoth (the actual big bad of the story was defeated) Sauron knew he had no choices but to ask for apologies and he asked it from the leader of the Maiar who are like lesser ranking angels just to compare them to something but that Maiar leader told Sauron to ask for forgiveness from the Valar who are like archangels so much more powerful spirit beings. Sauron is a maiar spirit and in his pride he didnt want to beg for the Valar and rather fled and went into hiding. He was a bad guy so this idea that he deserve simpathy is silly. Also most probably they would have forgive them since the actual god of the story did the same for a Valar who went against his will but didnt do it with malicious intent and wanted to undo his deeds. Gandalf arrived an age later and he didnt come in a meteor.. Númenor was the peak of human civilization technology wise and also the people there was blessed with longer life and they were giants like 8 ft tall etc. Also they had a strong military and fleet. Galadriel who wasnt a warrior "teaching" them is simply silly.

@@mavericks2k811 because they depict the character and her nature in detail? We know she wasn’t a warrior, that she relied on “supernatural” abilities, dare I say, magic, not physical combatives. We know she wasn’t aggressive or impetuous in any manner. Instead, we know her to be a kind and understanding character. None of the traits that Tolkien have her are accurately or even remotely attributable to the RoP version. It’s messed up! Shoot don’t even read the books just watch the PJ trilogy.

her version galadriel is soldier bas3d 2nd age elf fighter the action scenes are stellar groove on for gold 💙 👌 👏 ✨️ 😄 🙌 💙 👌
The action scenes are ridiculous and the character did not need her "version" which is not hers but the directors version or whoever came up with this soldier version which did not exist. They threw out the best qualities of the character and replaced it with something worse.
