Did they do a casting call asking for non Tolkien fans, no acting experience required and those who have a political motivation?
I am actually being serious in the sense that either a) if it fails the writers and producers can scapegoat the cast
b) the cast has signed contracts and once they realize that LOTR isn't the best place to demonstrate wokism.
Or a combination of the 2.
The part where Gandalf said to Galadriel “get to the choppaaa” brought a tear to my eyes, best adaptation of Tolkien’s work ever. 10 out of 10

This won’t be a bunch of shit as the SW sequels since the producers already have a plan extended on 5 seasons. So almost every plot Line has already been defined.
On the other side, the SW sequels are so messy because JJ Abrams and Johnson had way too much freedom in adressing the plot. That’s why they are a pile of shit.

And into this show he poured his money, his greed and his will to dominate all film. One show to ruin them all.
For into darkness fell Tolkien's star, in Amazon, where no bathrooms are.
Tolkien would've hated Peter Jackson's movies and his son Christopher Tolkien hated it too , infact he said amazon to not include or take advice from peter Jackson for this show

@@MrBruh-fz8or I contest. The Tolkiens were devoutly Catholic and detested commercialization. Plus, Warner Bros. claimed they monetarily owed nothing to the Tolkien Estate. Money and commercialization were the major issues between the Estate and Jackson. The problem was not in adhering to the material, it was money. Christopher claimed Jackson eviscerated the books, but any movie adaptation has to pick the major plot points to keep within cinematic timing guidelines. In order to make Christopher happy, we would have had to create literally hours upon hours of movie to do his father and his work justice. But that is only possible in a TV adaptation when such hours can be afforded. That is the secondary reason why Christopher preferred Amazon over Jackson. He felt the mega-company would spend the necessary hours and money to do his father's work justice. Oh yes - the hours and money they certainly did spend. Do his father's work justice, they did not.
Still not as bad as the Hobbit trilogy

How much understanding of game of thrones do game of thrones actors have? It doesn’t matter. It’s the writers you imbecile.
I'm so sad about this show. It could had been an epic Mythology about the universal problem of death and it's inevitability, but ended up beign a cliche story about a warrior looking for revenge.
I recomend you a chanell named Tolkien untangled, they have a video explaining how this show could had been written using only the things Amazon has rights to.
