I was born in 92 Kobe was my Jordan I cried like a baby when I heard his passing that was a tough one , & still is !!!
Rest up Kob!!!
Legends live forever ♾️ 🙌🏽
I cried too talking straight boo hoo still mourning his and GG's passing 😢
I was born in 90(in Africa tho😂) and didn't come to the states until February of 02 and still then i was a soccer fan and didn't know anything about Basketball. What i am trying to say is Kobe is my 🐐 and will always be. I reside in japan now and when he passed it was morning here. I always wake up checking on Espn or world news and when i saw his passing i instantly lost my breath. I only believed it because i had about 10 family members in the states call me or text me about his passing. I literally cried for two weeks straight bro. I haven't cried like this since MJ( King of Pop) passed away.
Sorry for the long comment, this one just hurts alot.
I was born in 99 the first ever basketball I could remember watching was the lakers vs Celtics finals in 08 when he died it felt like a family member died it hits hard even years later it hurts knowing how him and his daughter died 😢
I was working a shift a fridays and couldn’t finish it bro. I was stuck. My body was numb. I couldn’t believe it. Although he lived and did a lot before his passing. He’s one of the worlds greatest WHAT IFS. WHAT IF KOBE AND GG DIDNT PASS AWAY . I’d go to that reality in a heartbeat 💯
My mom doesn't know shit about basketball, and she was sad when he passed.
Kobe was a Blessing to all who seen him and heard his message.
goat kobe
Smush Parker would disagree 😂
@@IssacEinsteinthere's always one 🤦🏾♂️
Well said brother 👍🏾

4 years flew by quick and still, it doesnt feel right with him gone. RIP Bean!
I know right it’s crazy teaches us that we should cherish life every chance we get

I took Kobe for granted all those years I watched him play , mainly cause he was so damn good and use to kill my teams 😭 crazy how we don’t talk about him nomore when they speak on goats .. he was feared the most to me more than anybody in the 2000’s
Kobe will always be my 🐐.
exactly real talk
Not my goat…rip Kobe 🙏
@@goatjames328cuz ur plain stupid
81 will always be legendary. But the night he had 62 in 3 quarters vs Dallas… I thought he had 85 or 90 on deck. He was unbelievable
Klay Thompson and curry could have done that multiple times now. They sat out so many 4th quarters
@moneymoney3235 could have, but didn't 😂

I cried and mourned his loss more than any other person to have passed that wasn't a relative...RIP Kobe
Kobe Bean will always be a legend. He did a lot for the game especially internationally. Carried the torch from Jordan and was a once in a lifetime talent. Watching his games now I’m still amazed. RIP Mamba
Gigi would be around 18 right now and playing for UCONN. How crazy would that have been. It was tragic what happened, but the loss of those kids on the chopper hits home.
I woulda actually keep up with all the highlights being posted about Gigi while she was hoopin and Kobe was coaching her. I would tell my friends Gigi’s jersey was gonna be the first WNBA jersey I’d ever buy……what an unbelievable and tragic event in human history…..
He left a lot of gems and positive messages for the future generations of hoopers, Kobe was always a student of the game. He never lost that curiosity, the willingness to ask questions to gain new knowledge, and the importance of preparation.
I was on a traveling team as a kid. We got invited to this camp in LA and Kobe showed up since it was sponsored by the lakers. He was so cool calm and collected and he was only 19 at the time. Took time to speak with every kid that had a question. Rest in peace kobe ❤️
Kobe is truly missed his death was a blow to Los Angeles (born and raised in the 90806). The nine that perished all died too soon.
RIP 🙏🏽🕯x9
Much respect for Gil and for the show to take time to remember Kobe. It still hurts and he will never be forgotten by the Laker faithful. 😢
Man I miss Kobe n never even met him I was so drawn to his determination
I have kobes jersey hanging in my living room, i will always remember the mamba , my goat of basketball ❤ rip kobe & gigi. ❤❤🕊🕊
Jordan was my guy being an 80’s baby. Having watched him grow up in the spotlight, Being on my basketball journey at the same time he was, and getting to watch his career was a highlight for me. My admiration and respect for who he was encompassed me when his daughter, himself, and the others were taken on that awful day. I cried like a baby for him and his family. Rest well all of you who were taken that day.
THE MOST SKILLED HOOPER TO EVER LACE EM UP..rip
I appreciated Kobe much more after his retirement and watching interviews. Felt like I got to kno him
Went to all 5 championship parades. I was only 9 on that first one. I probably shouldn't have been there cause it was a crazy crowd. I swear he looked at me and was pointing to me as I was jumping on my uncle's shoulders. A moment I will never forget
Kenyon face when McCants speak be killing me
Yeah he confused on why lebron is brought into his monologue about Kobe smh
You can tell he doesn't care for him. Even going back to when McCants was arguing with Patrick Beverly about their workout. 😂😂
Cause he know McCants is just talking BS
@@SebastianRoihe never McCants stop the bs 🤷♂️
They cool now I like that
Just today I was casually remembering and watching about him. RIP Kobe, he did great by Italy as well.
I am a non athletic female, but I have two sons who played high school and college sports. I respected Kobe’s game, but I loved his humanity and heart the most. He was growing into the best humanitarian. He loved people.
I cried for hours when he transitioned, because I felt the loss the world would feel with his absence. I’m thankful his wife and family are continuing his and Gigi’s legacy.
I think the NBA should have a Mamba award for the hardest working, take not shit, no taking games off, plays both sides as hard as they can, competitive player each year. Players with that mindset should get something
Agreed, I mean why not when Kobe is the face of insane work ethic.
Lmao these glazers are ridiculous 😂
@@paralleluniverse99you ain’t heard???Dickriding is appropriate when it’s him and MJ. 😂😂😂😂 They already got an award named after him though.
Nah
I am a little critical of the man but I agree with your statement
Ive been called hard ,cold, gangster etc, I cried for 2days like when my uncle tony died called off of work and till this day tear up talking about him
Damn fr?
Really? People call you those things?
R.I.P Bean GG and the others…🕊️🕊️🕊️
Remember when i was a kid, and it was very rare to get an opportunity to watch nba game, my mom turned on TV and it was NBA game, Lal vs chicago. I saw kobe, jump shot, dunk and straight away i realise that this is something i never ever saw in my life. Since then i became a fan of him up to this day, even having near my bed his huge picture "what does basketball means to you" "kobe bryant - championship rings" . I am 31y old guy and every single time im watching a highlight, or a tribute to Kobe, always crying like a little girl. Mamba out
Kobe’s legacy is this.
You to can be great if you are willing to put in more work and work harder than everybody else. Sacrifice your personal life and focus on the work of being the best you can be.
Then team those up with the confidence and the will to go out and execute at a high level. And never give less than 100% effort.
Do those things and you will be great at whatever it is you do.
That’s his legacy
I miss him all the time I see his highlights and I will never forget the Mamba EVER🥹😇
As a life-long Lakers fan & a Kobe fanatic, I still get choked up thinking about Kobe & Gigi. RIP to my GOAT. RIP to Mambacita. And RIP to all that lost their lives that unfortunate day ✌🏾😓
Kob is and always will be my goat.. love you with all my heart and miss u everyday

Kobe Bryant Was Destined For Greatness From High School All The Way Until The Five Championships To Being A Great Father Rip Kobe & Gigi and everybody else that we lost that day 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
R.I.P Kobe and big ups to McCants it takes a lot of balls to admit you was being a hater glad to see he getting that hate out his heart hopefully he’s a man of his word
Man Kobe will always be known as one of the greatest EVER !! maybe even the GREATEST! I did not get to see Jordan from the beginning I was born in 87 but I did get to watch him in his prime and will never forget those times ! But I got to see Kobe come into the league straight from high school and saw him just absolutely kill everybody his whole entire career ! The way he would score from All over the court and hit literally the toughest shots you can possibly take and make it look easy ! Gone but never ever will be forgotten !! 🙏 🙏 RIP TO KOBE, GI GI and everybody else who lost there lives in that tragic accident. 😔
2000s era of basketball was the best times for me as a basketball fan because of one man!!! Kobe Bryant!!!!
I’m glad I got to see Kobe in person. It was a dream but I should of brought my dad too. He raised us to be lakers fan. Need to take him to see Lebron.
Kobe was walking around the aau camp with an entourage. I love this nigga man 😭❤

When we lost Kobe, I also lost my love for the game. He was my Jordan and will always be my greatest player of all time.
Was raised without a father used celebrities as influencers to help me grow up and get through life besides friends but out my main Kobe was #1 Not just from a basketball perspective LOVE U KOBE RIP
0:05 - 'we can all remembered where we were when we found out the news' - this is so true. Partying at a hotel for a friend's birthday, the mood in the room definitely changed after the news hit.

I see Kobe; I click
Kobe's #1 basketball player all time IDC about no one's list rip mamba ❤
Loved Kobe!! Still love em… I always held him 2nd to Iverson at the Time cuz they beat the Sixers. But he was always The second coming of Jordan and even better in some areas. But one of the moments was when his Video game came out… on Nintendo 64 Kobe Bryant’s NBA Courtside. And from then it was just awesome to watch him play in person especially against Jordan and AI glad I’m an 80s baby. Cuz ppl only can watch him on RUclips now n im blessed to watch him in person and on tv live

Kobe Bryant my GOAT Hands down I grew up watching Micheal Jordan but I really watched Kobe whole career heart breaking rest Up KB #8#24 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’m a short white boy from Utah, and I used to hate Kobe since he’d give the Jazz the business. I had my little girl a few months before his passing, and when I knew we were having a girl is when I started to hear about Kobe the person, not Kobe the baller. I grew so much respect for him as a father watching the way he talked about his girls and I wanted to be a dad like Kobe. Coming from someone who didn’t appreciate his talent enough while it was there but seeing all the other things and then hearing his passing that morning I felt like I lost a brother.
my first NBA game my mom got tickets to go down to portland and watch them play the lakers, i have vivid memories of watching Kob on the court and i can remember from that game specifically he went 20-20 from the line. i think he finished with 42 and he put on a masterclass that night, i was in awe over kobe for 48 minutes even though i was really there to watch LaMarcus Aldridge play. when i got home a few days later & told my dad his response was “there’s a reason i bought you a kobe jersey when u were a kid”, i had a youth size uniform set and wore that shit all the time as a lil kid.
R.I.P Kobe.....nuff love my guy
When kobe died i knew i had to get back in the gym work on my fade this nigga really inspired me as a kid with no one to look up to i seen this man accept any challenge he honestly just wanted to be the best i appreciate him i neva pick up a basketball if i never aeen kobe hoop on these guy rip the most skilled basketball player ive ever seen
Rip Kobe/Gigi and the seven others who was on that Helicopter
As an AI fan, I hated the Lakers and I hated Kobe! But damn did he grow on me. Especially after the Olympics and seeing him battle the Celtics. From truly rooting against and refusing to give him any type of flowers to cry the hardest I ever have over a celebrity death, Kobe Bryant’s being demanded respect. #MambaOut ✌🏾
That Clutch check is real. KG finally started collecting.
This is a simple statement im about to make but it absolutely could not be any more true about him....Kobe was different. As a player as a person, Kobe was different. Ill ALWAYS rep Kobe. Mamba forever. #24
My favorite thing was the Nike Signature moves clips I took it to heart
Men, the last time I remember someone dying and the world got shook was the dead of princess Diana. RIP KOBE
My fav hooper on, and off the court.
Kobe is LA represents and will for ever be we miss you kobe
Respect Gills 🕊️
The most skilled basketball player to ever play. My favorite Kobe moment was when Shaq fouled out against Indiana in the playoffs and young fro stepped up and brought the game home in the clutch, looking at the crowd saying "calm down, I got this"
The best basketball player to ever play. He was the most skilled player ever.
Well done Gils Arena great tribute from everyone to the Legend.
Lifetime laker fan since 1980. I've watched the NBA religiously since I say Magic take down the Sixers in Game 6. Jordan is the GOAT but I have never loved another player like Kobe. He was just incredible theater all the way to the end. What a show. I loved when he would catch the ball on the wing isolated and all of staples center would start buzzing and you just felt bad for the defender cuz you KNEW he was about to get cooked. He knew it and the entire arena knew it was just a matter of what kind of foot wor par excellence he was gonna hit him with. What a show it was!
Rip Kobe Bean and Gianna Maria Onore Bryant, you will be missed

KOBE IS THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL ATHLETE EVER SINCE MUHAMMAD ALI #8#24
THE YOUNGEST PLAYER EVER TO 🏆🏆🏆
I still cannot believe that he's gone, that Gigi is gone, that the Altobellis are gone, it still feels like fake news, somewhat like a nightmare that won't end and I never even met him. I never got to see him play, but I grew up in South Jersey, watching the 01 finals with my pops is one of the earliest basketball memories I have, I was like 5 y/o, I know where Lower Marion is, I'm a UConn Husky, and Gigi was going to be one, he was a great girl-dad, his work ethic was something I took to heart. I wouldn't have passed Chem-1127Q without inspiration from the Mamba's mentality, I can't watch a highlight reel for more than a few minutes because of all the emotion it brings up. I'm tearing up while writing this, can't believe that it's been four years now. It may have happened in 2020, but it still feels like the biggest heartbreak of that year, including covid. Rest in power Kobe, Gigi, and the Altobelli's, you may be gone but you're not forgotten, and damn sure missed.
I was born in 93 watched every dribble of Kobe career life long Kobe hater (Lebron guy) he was so great even hating him you loved bean 😢rip to the mamba
THE WORLD 🌎 WILL NEVER BE THE SAME .. TAKEN TOO SOON 😢

Growing up in the late 90s, AI and Penny were my favorite players and I disliked Kobe for beating the two for so many years. But Kobe became my favorite player of all-time when Shaq left the Lakers and his career thereafter proved why he is the Goat of the 2000
As much as I love Kobe, even Kobe would say mention the other 7 every time.. especially the kids
