I thought it matters only if the slotted and drilled rotors have slanted vane. The slanted vanes are suppose to be facing in the rearward position. If you have rotors that have straight vanes, its driver's preferences at that point....

Even with the rotors mounted correctly, the drilled and slotted rotors will chew through stock OE pads faster than the OE smooth rotors... It's a trade-off, better brake performance at the cost of shorter pad life. Always use performance brake pads that are designed for drilled/slotted high performance brake rotors, they will last longer.

@@thomaswarner3060 I agree with you 100% but the rear ones are the only ones that got chewed up in six months to where there was no meat left the front one still have a lot of meat. So they should last a little longer now this time. If not, I’ll make an update video.

So I noticed that I have had a whirring sound from my brake rotors and the pads seems to stick and make a popping release sound when going from reverse to drive...did you have similar issues?

@@kskip4242 to be honest, no only issue I had was that I heard the screeching sound because the brake pads were running low

@Sportbikememace Huh. I'm just going to leave mine that way. Stops great just a bit noisy. I don't want to go through having to take everything back apart..

@ did you check the pads to see if they’re good if they got any life left?

@@Sportbikememace yeah they have about 80% left after a little over 10 thousand miles. They are the performance Pads that came with the kit.
