In college at The University of Georgia, a friend of mine and I went to the local Turtle's Records to buy whatever tickets still available for that nights Atlanta show. The girl behind the counter looked at her screen, did a double take, looked at us and said "Man, you guys are cool!" Front row seats a mere 6 hours before the show! They released a few extras after the stage was constructed. Go Dawgs and KISS Forever!!!!!!!
I believe it. Besides the Detroit concert, this arena tour was attended by very few people. Kiss had no business booking large arenas for this tour. Fast forward about 4 years, the make up is back on and Kiss is selling out this same arenas
Yes. Lakewood Amphitheater in Atlanta was packed as usual. I'm pretty sure this was the show they appeared with lasers and opened with "I Stole Your Love". Slaughter opened. Man.......
I was at this show! We did a road trip following them for the first week of this tour. Easily one of their best tours! It was amazing to hear Gene 'sing' more than 'growl'.
I was a sophomore in high school when I saw this tour. Always been a diehard fan. This was DEFINITELY the best lineup! They were tight and heavy just sounded incredible!!!
Caught my Paul pick at the Portland,ME show on Oct. 6,five days after this show...As usual,an AMAZING show.....we got there late, halfway through Trixter, but made our way up to the stage area......Great memories, great record, great tour, great show.....
Amazing band that has rock the world for 45 years and counting... In 1992 they were a well oiled machine with some good new tunes from Revenge, some classics, and good material from the eighties that doesn't seem to get played much on the End of the Road Tour... AMAZING BAND THAT MIGHT GO ON FOREVER WITH REPLACEMENTS OF PAUL AND GENE
Yeah I saw this lineup at The LA Forum and it was awesome ! we like KISS! Michael T Wyman and 99. LA Jam night jammers on guitar, bass and vocals. 2013-2019 Can't wait till fun times return. Lockdown Summer 2020.
Blew me away in 92. Still blows me away now. Saw them twice on this tour and the first time it was just unreal as they broke out Christine Sixteen and I Want You (among others)
Ahh man, thanks for the upload. I was at this show. My ears rang for days. I think I was a sophomore in high school at the time. I remember leaving Stabler Arena after the show. As the crowd filed out, I turned around and looked at the arena and smoke was pouring out of the exits like the building was on fire. Killer show!
the band continued to be on fire during their 1994 concerts and 1995 concerts unfortunately for American fans, the lack of demand was at an all time low. most of those concerts were in Japan, Australia & S. America
Wow,brings back great memories.Went to this show in Maryland ,D.C area and it was the best!Best act there to begin with....Faster Pussy Cat😻 an Trixster.....opened up for Kiss at the Baltimore Capitol Center .... #larrydeanmorrison #DEANMORRISON
I have to agree. Have been part of the KISS ARMY since Destroyer….have seen them at least once every single tour beginning in 1980 (mom refused to let me see them sooner). This is by far one of my fav tours and time for their music!! Hard now for them to dance and move like this vs today in 2023! Thanks for the great video and to KISS for being such an integral part of my life.
Damn I don’t believe it. 28 years ago. Amazing. The only time I ever seen KISS was during the time w no makeup. At least I got to see them before they retired.
The longest show in the history of the band. 27 songs, not including solos. Christine Sixteen, 100,000 Years, Cold Gin, and Tears are Falling were axed after opening night, though TaF returned on sporadic dates as they intended to include it on Alive III.
I love this show. I think this was the only time they did Tears Are Falling and Christine Sixteen and 100,000 Years. I loved Singer’s double kick version of 100,000 Years.
I saw the KISS tour of Australia in 1995. The setlist was slightly different to this. It was a good mix of Revenge/Old 70's stuff/A few 80's cuts. During "Take It Off" the strippers actually took everything off... down to their bare arse!
There with my cousin. Damn, had to be real close to this dude with the camera too. Anyway crowd was real receptive to a band that was regrouping from Eric’s death but was spot on esp. for the first show of the tour.
My 2nd best kiss show meadow lands . Kiss reunion 3rd night MSG thought it was a earthquake no it was KISS fans stomping there feet. 100 @ percent for 1992 better stage show.
Fantastic show and lineup. One of my favorites. For some reason Pauls voice was struggling. HE had the water bottle there with whatever was in it. That's a first I've seen. Had to be a temporary issue because this was way too early for his later voice issues. His voice was killer a long time after this.
@@bls8959 yeah no doubt. They should have sold much more of the album, it was great. But I feel like it got robbed of momentum by being the right album at the wrong time, just like Creatures of the Night.
wow, this is the tightest kiss ever was.. Even Bruce was showing some showmanship... Paul amazing voice.. Eric singer was perfect for the time.. Kiss slowing it down slightly after a few years of playing way toooo fast... Some great new songs that they can't play today as they are getting older...
if you think this line-up is playing great here. i suggest you look for the S. America 1994 gigs or the 1995 gig from Japan. those will blow your hair back
Saw this tour with my brothers at the old Richfield Coliseum outside of Cleveland. The arena was half empty. My younger brother had horrible gas and stunk up the rows around us so bad we had almost a whole section to ourselves.
October 9, 1992 in East Rutherford, NJ... I was 15 getting stoned with my friend up on the empty mezzanine level. Fun! Tickets back then... $20 for any seat you could grab first. Today $200 min. and it's enforced assigned seating like you're cattle. Crazy.
Wow! Badass! No comparison to the SkabKiss that is being shoved down our throats today! This is my favorite Kiss lineup after Eric Carr and the original lineup from the 70's! Compare their current show to this. Today the crowd just stands there here they are throwing up the horns and going nuts!
I'm wondering if Bruce and Gene had words of some kind prior to the show? The few times Gene tries to interact with him here, Bruce doesn't look too happy and doesn't seem to engage. It's just nice to see them in this iteration of KISS, which I always thought was the most technically competent version. And of course, it's great to hear Paul with no evidence of any vocal deterioration that we all know eventually rears its ugly head in subsequent tours.
Less than 2 months after eric carr's death... not a word about him😕 i love this band and the revenge/alive3/unplugged era but this was a great great shame, and the beginning of a great misunderstanding for numerouss fans... what a pity. Making a tribute concert would not have change the kisstory, but just give heart to the story...
This show was 10 months after Erics death. He died on november 24th 1991. This is october 1st 1992. But I do agree with your point, he should have had a tribute show or something.

Best Kiss line up in my opinion. This is peak Kiss. I loved them during this era.
Too many omissions from Alive III. Tears Are Falling was a must. War Machine.
Bruce's guitar always sounded great, clean and in-tune.

Kick arse Kiss show like no other, with Bruce Kullick on lead guitar!!
I was at this show! We did a road trip following them for the first week of this tour. Easily one of their best tours! It was amazing to hear Gene 'sing' more than 'growl'.
That Parasite riff must be the coolest riff ever, I really like Pauls songs, but THAT riff is really a cut above. It just cracks your ribs!

I was at this show . awesome . Kulick you rock.
Great mix of old and new on the set list.
This is the band at its absolute height.
In hindsight fans like to think so but the revenge tour was an absolute failure. If not for the reunion this might have been the last tour.
Best line up
Playing-wise, yes. Ticket sales-wise it was a flop.
@@markgrant1302 Why?
