Confession.. as a youth, I thought they were overated with so many exceptional bands in the 70s, but here I am in 2024, 62 years on this earth and in the last couple years, I've developed a "thing" for Paul Stanley, over just a couple songs, but appreciate his looks and his real vocal performances. Made for Loving You, Detroit Rock City, are fun to view 😘🎶💗😂
I couldn't agree with you more. I saw KISS several times in the 1980s and 1990s, and they were excellent musically. Without the makeup, you had no choice to but really pay attention to the music. From a musicianship standpoint, they had Eric Carr, Eric Singer, and Bruce Kulick, who were all fundamentally sound musicians. Then you had Paul Stanley who as at the height of his vocal peak during this time. KISS was just really good at this time.
They absolutely were. I saw KISS several times during the non-makeup era, including with their Simmons/Stanley/Carr/Kulick and Simmons/Stanley/Singer/Kulick lineups. I believe I saw them during the Crazy Nights, Hot in the Shade, and Revenge Tours. Paul's vocals were soaring then, and I really enjoyed Bruce Kulick on guitar. I know some die-hard KISS fans will say KISS was at their best with Ace and Peter. I disagree. This was KISS at their best.
Agree 100% Eric Carr talent wise was and will always be their best drummer ever ! I still love Peter the most because without the original 4 we wouldn't have half of the set list that they still play today! And Paul's voice was still strong.

Bruce kulick was and is still a great guitar player. Bruce plays for Grand Funk Railroad today.
Wooooow what awesome moment! I miss so much This time 🥹🥰😍💓. Kiss always into our HEARTS ❤️🔥🎶👏👏👏👏👏
They will never sound as tight and punchier, top of their game indeed
They sounded fantastic in this era
yes they did, and I'm big on the original band, when the reunion was over they should have went back to this lineup.
@@1972bacosta I agree.

They were on 🔥
One of their best perfomances.
Back when the audiences really knew how to rock and no cell phones!
This version is the tightest tops!!!! KISS ALIVE 3 !!!!!!!!
8:06 ¡caaaaasi, Bruce! 😅🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love Arsenio Hall, in the 1990's I was in my late 20 but still thought he was cool.
Bruce rocks.....
Best post make up lineup!!
After the reunion Kiss should of went back to this line up.

From the classic album Destroyer.
Nice performance. The voice was amazing. Die Sturm- und Drangzeit leider vorbei. Der Zahn der Zeit nagt.
Paul Stanley look alike did a fantastic job. Is He the guy from Mr.Speed?
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was cause they rock
He sure looks like him doesn't he?
Saw it when it happened !!!
Arsenio ruled the 90's, forget Leno, Letterman, and Conan!
Cool
He obviously didn't do his homework on Gene. He never partook in bong water lol 😆
Didn't even remember KISS being on the show 😅. 😲 WOW that's entertainment.
This era of KISS is their strongest!!!
Never liked Arsenio except this one time

Singer added the drums that was missing from KISS!! Revenge was their best album ever!
Ha. No
Couldnt have said it better myself. i love how eric plays all of the old songs especially parasite.
Singer is a machine. But Carr was incredible too.
Glad they removed the facepaint and big outfits just black leather boots.
