When David is not running an advertising and marketing company, his hobby is The Bond Experience which is primarily a video blog where he discusses Bond experiences and the people and brands that help to create those experiences...
The mantra of living like Bond, one moment at a time emanates from a concept of experiencing the joy of collecting small moments in life that add up to amazing journeys and stories....whether it's through style, locations, literature, fitness, and the movies themselves the world of Bond is explored through its people and their stories.
Ultimately though, The Bond Experience channel is a celebration of the James Bond franchise and the many people that form a true community. Our core mission is to create a strong connection in the Bond community amongst all the fans, regardless of interest or demographic.

The Bond Experience is not affiliated with any James Bond copyright holder and is an unofficial entity.
No one mentioned Connery's powder blue terrycloth shorts/jumpsuit from "Goldfinger."
Yes! Completely agree.
I'm pretty sure they aren't even considering it as an actual "outfit". It's most likely ignored by the community because it's so bad lol
All of these were good picks for the worst of the best! I know why Dalton was wearing such baggy clothes, because we all were in the beginning of the 90's. The big baggy suits were the style. And I carried the baggy look for way too long!!! And they just made them that way too. I was a 34 waist at the time, and a 34 long was very long and created the baggy suit pant look. I have not shrunk in height, but now wear a 32 length and it is correct. But David would remember, that baggy look was the thing, Miami Vice suits!!!
The problem with the look in YOLT isnt the actual kimono but the yellowface
Sadly, unexpectedly i lost my Dad at the weekend. So I'm not focused on anything else right now, But thanks for the video David. Its a mild distraction at a tough time. Agree DAF is a low point...really low point in many ways...including Bond's styling.
My condolences DT. Keep your chin up and take care mate x
My dad also just passed away...I know what you're going through man. Hang in there and cherish the memories, brother
Condolences to you both - It was 5 years since my father passed over the weekend, thankful for the time we had, he introduced me to Bond.
@@gagz117 Thank you, kindly.
I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad passing away during the weekend, DT uk. Please accept my most sincere condolences to you and your family. Please let me know if I can do anything to help.
Eternal rest grant to DT uk's Father, Lord, may the Perpetual Light shine upon him, may he Rest In Peace, Amen.
I always defend Dalton in Licence to Kill and his dracula look. He looks just a bit evil which is great imo, almost like the old Bond comic strip. It's a weird thing but I like it. I haven't even watched the video yet but know you'll mention it here.
I think the problem with Dalton replicating the Daily Express illustration is that the Fleming Bond took place in the 50s/60s where naturally, the hair would be more crop-cutted and thin. Dalton's hair in his duology is big, especially in TLD where it was the biggest amount of any Bond actor, either him or Brosnan. When he slicks the hair back, it ends up being distracting because the large hair doesn't feel like it should be styled like that. If Daniel Craig did the Fleming Bond look post-Quantum of Solace, I think he would have pulled it off nicely.
I read that that hairdo in LTK was meant as part of his cover in South America. A style on the continent. I will have to go back and see if really changes from the beginning of the movie. Just an idea.
Yes, you guys are far too brutal on Dalton and snobby. Dalton, the true Ian Fleming Bond, didn't need all the bespoke apparel. Dalton was rugged and sexy AF! His Bond required clothing that allowed him to work without splitting them to shreds. Dalton was so handsome in TLD & LTK and he makes people SWOON! 🇬🇧
@@tmmartinesq.6216 IMO all James Bond actors are handsome tbh but Dalton was exactly bond from the books
What about the terry blue onesie from Goldfinger!
Yeah i was thinking that one right off the bat, what a shocker
This is a video about the worst outfits though..
In License to Kill, it kind of makes sense that Bond wouldn't be perfectly dressed. He was visiting Florida for Felix's wedding, and wasn't planning on staying there long. That morning suit he wore to the wedding would have been provided by Felix. And he didn't plan on resigning and going to Isthmus abruptly either. So everything he wore there will have been purchased at short notice and not bespoke.
Although not one of the "official Bond Films" I must plump for Connery's dungarees from Never say never again
What, no mention of the blue romper suit from Goldfinger?
Everything everybody wore in Diamonds are Forever was just the worst. ...except for Plenty O'Toole that is. Must have been the year 1971...glad that was before my time on Earth
70s were the decade that taste forgot
Please more Roger Moore accent.
For me, I really dislike the Massimo Alba Sloop Suit that Daniel Craig wore in NTTD and also the Massimo Duster. I thought they looked so wrong for him and they look heavy and uncomfortable, especially the duster!
I love love love Sean Connery's casual attire in Thunderball when he wears the white trousers and striped white/blue shirt. Excellent and perfect for the setting. Also, another notable from Thunderball is when Bond is sneaking around Shrublands and he's wearing the classic blue polo shirt and brown trousers. Again - love the look and especially enjoyed it when Craig wore a very similar outfit in Casino Royale (even though the fit of his trousers was a crime against fashion).
Totally agree regarding the NTTD duster. It's probably the boldest outfit Craig wore during his tenure but it doesn't suit him all that well.
Absolutely agree - the Jeremy Corbyn suit was appalling. Once DC started to gain too much control the style went south, appalling fit since skyfall and some absolutely awful outfits - not befitting the character in any way - also Saville Rowe should be the go to for the bond films, I don’t buy the ‘we need multiples’ nonsense - as kingsman managed it, bond producers are all about the money they can get from the brands rather than the movies (in my humble opinion as a fan)
@@garyniven946 Exactly right! As soon as DC started having more of a say, the 'Bond style' got lost
Almost 15 years since we’ve last seen Bond wear a decent fitting suit
I Agree with Dalton’s Tux not being the best in LTK. Too baggy, and that slicked hair only worsens the look. I don’t know why they just didn’t get him a suit similar to The Living Daylights. I disagree with the black on blue look in terms of Dalton’s casual wear, I thought it was ok. I also liked his laid back look when he’s having coffee with Sanchez. But other than that yeah LTK isn’t the most stylish of the series.
Connery’s Tux looked very Sloppy in Diamonds are Forever too. It didn’t that help he was clearly out of shape in that movie, as a result his suit never fit him properly. In fact I’d argue that Diamonds are forever has some of the worst fashion decisions as Licence to Kill.
The Dalton wedding tuxedo was likely chosen by his friend Leiter. Since he is his best man, he would dress up in the clothes of the wedding back then.
Shocked you guys didn't choose either the Matera corduroy suit or the Massimo Alba Duster Coat look from No Time to Die.
Also surprised you didn't choose the George Lazenby tuxedo mainly because of the ruffles.
May have looked good at the time, but surely no one would dare wear that now.
I can't hate on the Matera suit since its the only bond suit I own. Its the most inexpensive suit there is.
I was thinking the slobbish duster too!
I will never be convinced that the clown outfit doesn’t actually work with building the tension. It’s a clown saying there’s a bomb in the canon. And nobody believes him. And it’s a moment that is directed very well.
I think Craig's worst casual has to be those blue shorts and too short grey shirt (with holes) in NTTD when he's in retirement in Jamaica... Also most of Bond's suits in Skyfall and Spectre don't fit him properly and are too small... almost as bad as Dalton's baggy suits
Connery: the "Palm Springs" suit and pink mini-tie (Diamonds are forever)
Lazenby: the orange golf outfit
Moore: the kaki jacket (A View to a Kill)
Dalton: the Afghan tunique (The Living Daylights)
Brosnan: the Royal Navy uniform (Tomorrow Never Dies) - the hat really doesn't suit him...
Craig : the duster (No Time to Die)
As for Brosnan and Moore, they didn't look bad. The Royal Navy uniform suit Brosnan very well, more so than it did for Connery. Whilst the Afghan tunic didn't look the best on Dalton, it was purely a situational choice so he didn't blow his cover. The orange golf outfit didn't look as bad as the kilt set though!
@@TCFan25 yes, Brosnan doesn't look that bad in the Navy uniform, it's the hat that bothers me. Brosnan does not have a good head for hats, he looked equally weird to me in The Fourth Protocol :)
Roger Moore was the only man who made a safari suit look tasteful
Just add the pointy ears on Connery wearing that kimono and he could have played a Vulcan on Star Trek 🖖
If we could combine Kyle’s looks with Calvin Dyson’s accent and heritage, we’d have a perfect next Bond!
A View To A Kyle is great, but what about Easy Kyles and Expensive Watches? I’ll see myself out now.
Great vid as alway!
Also…if Kyle is the next JB then maybe David can be Felix! Or even…M! 🤔
You should make a video about Pierce Brosnan's best outfits on Remington Steele. I know, it's not Bond, but it shows why he was chosen to play the role.
LIke Roger Moore was chosen from his work on The Saint and The Persuaders! He was already echoing Bond ...
Yeap, that pink tie in Diamonds Are Forever. What were they thinking? That outfit sucks. Then again, that film sucks so that outfit and the pink tie only makes sense 🤢🤢🤢
Entertaining video, excellent channel here. Side question, anyone know of any good 'old fashioned' online forums or maybe facebook groups where you can go and post your Bond outfits and gear? I'm used to Indiana Jones cosplay forums where people post all sorts of photos of themselves dressed as Indy, but haven't found something quite similar for James Bond wear. Thanks for any reply.
David I have to know - you mentioned Brosnan watches these videos. First that’s amazing ! Second how did you come to know this??
41:09 I would ask for the double denim Texas tuxedo. Yup, I am down with bad boy! And underneath I’d wear a t-shirt with “Let’s Swing” on it 😅 - great video lads
We are going to make this happen!
@@TheBondExperience haha, right. Challenge accepted….
Okay, good choices but both of you liked the big ruffles on Lazenby's tux or the GIANT bow tie and bellbottoms on Roger Moore's tux in TSWLM? No judgement, just asking.
All of Timothy Daltons costumes in his films, whoever tailored them should've been fired. His costumes seemed to have a sagging look in those flicks. LtK is still my favorite.
How dare you insult that blue shirt from TND
Just a thought for conversation: would Lazenby have pulled off some of Connery’s DAF wardrobe had he retuned?
I felt Lazenby and OHMSS made a great bridge from the 60s to the 70s. Connery looks out of step, from a sartorial standpoint in DAF.
You should do a best and worst tactical outfits video.
Tactical outfits, disguises, helmets, etc.
Thank you all for keeping the BondFire burning bright!
I think Connery just looks shabby through out all of Diamonds.
Come on. The Baby Blue Onesie wins hands down.
I couldn't agree more.
@UCuxk-SjrFb5sGyjXLZ77Epw Comfy for sure. OB’s towelling wear is nice wear.
Good to hear someone calling out how grey doesn't work for Daniel Craig. Agree that the suit in the Skyfall PTS is too tight, but he looked much better in blue than grey.
NTTD really didn't have a single look that made me think, "I want that!" Such a pity that the standards of QoS weren't kept up, although I did like a few looks in Spectre.
QOS and Spectre are Craig’s best outfits imo
@@GeekRobotYT easily.
Agree with your selections and reasons but I kinda like the Brosnan POW outfit this could be the ultimate outfit for the frugal James Bond fan just out of lockdown. You need to go on a mission to Wal-Mart. I'd buy that one. 😂
What a fun video! I vote for "From a View to a Kyle" lol. One other piece of clothing I thought was a little odd was the ruffled dress shirt George Lazenby wears on the beach at the beginning of OHMSS. It looks good on him, but on its own, it's a little like the puffy shirt from Seinfeld.
I really thought one of you was going to pick Brosnan’s fencing outfit 😂 Great video guys, loving the detailed analysis! Looking forward to possibly a wristwatch version of this video.
You guys are savage
Agree! LOL
We want a fan movie with Kyle as Bond, Calvin Dyson as Q, Dave Zoritsky as (?). Reply with more casting picks.
Dave as Felix Leiter, dutchbondfan as evil henchman
David as Blofeld (Polish roots, man!). Time to go bald, Mr Zaritsky!
Dave as M.
The worst Daniel Craig casual outfit has to be his outfit when he’s trying to save Vesper. First, he’s wearing a polo shirt over a crew neck tshirt. Second, he’s wearing Nikes that have no business being worn casually. The whole outfit makes him look more like a middle class American dad than a retired gentleman spy. I’d take the Matera outfit over that every single time
I love Lazenby in Scottish Highland kit! Looked fantastic and yes I'm 20% Scottish!!
Close! The Korean equivalent of K Mart is actually E Mart, though E Mart is closer in spirit to a Target. Apologies if someone else on has already mentioned this.
Of all your co-hosts...you guys have great chemistry and timing and make me laugh out loud.. thank you
the terry cloth onesie worn by Connery in Goldfinger is pretty bad.
The Brosnan Tank-Face picture was so great 😂😂😂
You could always make a short movie for RUclips starring Kyle as James Bond.
I'd be up for watching it.
Here are my worst picks:
Sean Connery: Goldfinger terrycloth romper, DAF Palm Springs suit and black tuxedo
George Lazenby: Bathrobe, yellow bullfight suit, Highland Dress
Roger Moore: LALD powder blue leisure suit, TSWLM brown silk suit, AVTAK morning tuxedo
Timothy Dalton: LTK oversized t-shirt and jeans (framing Krest), charcoal suit in Key West, Wedding tuxedo
Pierce Brosnan: TND Vietnam blue shirt, TWINE cream suit (last favorite), DAD tuxedo (spare any ice?)
Daniel Craig: NTTD Retirement jacket, Skyfall Istanbul Shrink Wrap suit, NTTD plain tuxedo

Someone should cast Kyle as a rookie CIA agent in a Bond movie. He's perfect casting!
Lmao like halfway through this, David started with the flirty comments, and I was like “oooo boy the 9am beer’s hitting!”
Well, this made my day - great chemistry guys!
My motivation is your channel David yes it's got to the point I'm not emulating Bond anymore I'm emulating you I'm serious your a fantastic role model and have been a fantastic role model to me and a lot of my younger friends so I'm gonna give you a sincere thank you, although you are costing me a lot of money hahaha I got the spectre watch just before Christmas and a quantum of solace planet Ocean coming next week.
I love when Roger Moore wears a white tuxedo. Fits him so well, although I don't really like the one he wears in TMWTGG, but love the one he wears in AVTAK.
What or where do you get the "PRESIDENTE" beer??... thats from where I live Dominican Republic and the "Normal" version NO the"Light"
Disguises and tactical should be a separate list.
Sean Connery wore a duck decoy on his head. You guys didn’t include that on this list.
Roger Moore wore a fake alligator submersible outfit.
You guys were stretching with the POW rags. Not Bond’s choice to dress like that.
I never liked Lazenbys cardigan from Her Majesty's Secret Service, although it did improve when it got covered in gunk and filth from the cable-car
#aviewtoakyle 👍
I was never a fan of Roger in the Fila Tracksuit when he infiltrates Zorin's stable-laboratory... Also his powder-blue denim suit is very bad
What makes me laugh about the Roger Moore's Clown outfit, is that he was in that caravan for only a few minutes and came out looking like at least an hour's worth of makeup artists time.
A lot of your first picks are a bit harsh as fashion was different and as a Brit I safely say we have always worn a more fitted clothing which is why many up class Americans come over to be fitted for suits and shirts that and we make them better on saville Row and Germain street, you think to much with modern and American attitudes.
Not the Light one.. are the Best Beer of the world!!! ( and with Clamato ) geer.. the best...the world!!... thanks fot the both videos..Mr Zaritsky
Gotta say the NTTD tux is aging bad with each rewatch. The bowtie is crooked and the lighting makes the shirt look a pale blue that never works with the jacket.
Wasn’t diamonds are forever mainly shot in the USA which would explain the awful fitting of the fashion
As you can see David my comment went to the wrong video don't know how that happened i sent the comment to your newest video
I always thought the outfit connery wore in the volcano lair at the end of yolt was quite ugly
Yet he's supposed to blend in.
I also think there are many opportunities from the movie Live and Let Die-the worst wardrobes and mismatches of all.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard “sartorial” used as much as these 2 videos 😂
EVERYTHING Daniel Craig
Ditto. 🇬🇧
How can you like Lazenby? Bad acting and bad clothes
Great video David
Nah the gray skyfall suit was so fresh and the best looking one imo
But that’s what we wear to races I suggest you look up Royal Ascot .
Great entertaining episode. Quick question if I may: Is the film Argylle actually the next Bond movie?? A production shrouded in secrecy. The director (Matthew Vaughn) has stated he selected Henry Cavill before he was grabbed for Bond. It’s based on a novel that hasn’t even been published. The music is by Dua Lipa. Even the tease trailer seems very strange, almost hammy and has the cryptic line “The greater the spy, the greater the lie”. Check out the Wiki page, everything seems off. Perhaps this is a cool publicity stunt, Roger Moore stated James Bond was the best know spy in the world, imagine if they have managed to film the next film right under our noises with the public even being aware. How cool would that be!

Jimmy Bond:
Woody Allen
I loved that Moonraker suit when he's in the glass factory and museum.
It's interesting to note that Timothy Dalton in interviews, retrospectives, rare private life photos, is quite a shabby dresser. He seemingly takes no pride in his appearance whatsoever. Yet ... I really like him for that. He'd have needed to be comfortable when giving Mel Gibson a beating for his treatment of Dalton's family.
Unless I'm mistaken, three of the films did not feature Bond in a tuxedo: From Russia with Love (if we regard Sean Connery in the opening scene as playing a someone wearing a Sean Connery mask pretending to be Bond), You Only Live Twice and Live and Let Die. This suggests to me that the next films should try to break from "tradition" or clichés a little. For example Bond doesn't need to wear a tux in every film, he doesn't need to drive an Aston or drink vodka martini or say "Bond, James Bond". The Roger Moore films are fantastic in that regard: bourbon, cigars, safari suits, Lotuses, revolver. I'd be more inclined to chat to that guy. Tbh, if I met someone wearing a tuxedo, drinking 🍸 who drives an Aston Martin and introduces himself in that way, then I'd probably brand him a prize wanker and steer clear!
My worst suit for Brosnan would be the two button pinstripe he wears in London. I'm not a huge fan of stripes, for one, but I also don't love that tie (despite the fact I own it in red).
"Worst" suit maybe isn't the right way to put it, since he looks great in all of them, I would say "least favourite".
“A View to a Kyle” is the only name Kyle should have for any of his future Social Media Pages.
Very good video guys
Guys , only drink Alcohol when the sun is over the Yard Arm . Only Alcoholics drink in the Morning . Very un James Bond cool 😎....
That has got to be the fastest 40 minutes on RUclips ever lol. Super fun video dudes!
Will the be a bond girl or villain outfits video perhaps??
It's Bond's robe in OHMSS. Tracy only put it on after breaking into Bond's room. But loved the video guys.
Good job gentlemen. I expected some real trashing of outfits to happen...but it didn't. I guess even bad outfits on James Bond are still better than what the average person wears.
Hey! You guys were drinking the best beer of my country. Presidente beer!! 🍺 ¡SALUD!
I was expecting someone to say Dalton's Pyjamas from Licence To Kill that he wears at Sanchez's place
Bond in a skirt …… hilariously funny 😂
You guys are too young to know, but in the 70's we were all fed sartorial crazy pills and this should be taken into consideration!
36:00 The scene in Skyfall was before he is ostensibly killed.
Maybe he was supposed to look a little bit off, a little bit constricted?
OK its a stretch, but hey.
They picked my favorite two Brosnan suits as their least favorite, absolutely brutal haha
Result: Quantum of Solace doesn't have worst any outfits!
Here's an interesting idea. How about videos on the best and worst bond villain outfits or just bond villain style in general.
Lazenbys robe in the thumbnail, interesting. I always thought that robe looked pretty nice .
The problem with the brosnan suit in goldeneye is the tie, in my opinion. It makes him look too old.
Ok, loved it…. Now do the watches ! Rolex … seiko…omega….
What is David wearing on his top, do you know the brands for the tshirt and sweater ?
Its feels like the Diamonds are forever outfits were chosen with lazenby in mind
Connery - DAF
Moore - AVTAK
Dalton - LTK
Brosnan - GE
Craig - SF
"Bow tie looks like it's flying out of a cave!" Gold! 😂😂😂
