2024 was a challenging year, but with great achievements, happy endings and beautiful, inspiring new beginnings. We will miss Sakis, Ellie, Poppy, Neraida, Grandpa, Blondie, Garfield, Bear, Ben and so many others who have left us but will always remain in our hearts. May 2025 be a year of many more achievements, more adoptions, more awareness, more humanity, more fraternity. May we all learn that we need a well-kept planet, with nature respected and cared for. We were not put here to destroy, but to be servants and stewards of this wonderful Earth. I pray everyday for neglected/abused/homeless animals... And Takis saves sooooo many ... truly the work of an angel. It will take a lot of time, education and changing of the laws to help alleviate cruelty, and Takis is on the right path. When I seen dancing Ellie it brought tears to my eyes. Such a big loss for the shelter. And now she’s dancing in heaven.
