Yes! I remember this whole build. Partly why I went with Maxpeedingrods for my Prelude, still going strong after 2 years just like yours! Unfortunately they don't go any lower than stock but I was just looking to replace broken ones for cheap cheap cheap. $250 for 4 coils what a killer deal.

I've been daily driving some classic MXR coilovers for a while now. I bought them myself. They are bouncier than stock obviously, but I found they are better with the rebound damping cranked up. Only other issue I had is knocking in the top hats, but just greasing them fixed it. It was a light noise that happened mostly over small bumps. You can also replace the spherical bearings cheap if they do go bad. I'll do a full review eventually. MXR lets you replace your suspension all around and increase performance for very little money. T6 and T7 look like a big step up from classic, so I'm excited to try them out. A lot of people definitely blame the company instead of poor installation. Happens with turbos and other products too. I am glad to hear those coilovers are working for yall.....i installed a set on my brothers old is300....they were HORRIBLE!!! They lasted about 3 to 4 months. I know we got the gen 1's when they 1st came out....straight from ebay😔

Great video! I installed some Maxspeedingrods “Street Basis” coil overs on my 6th gen Accord. I adjusted the stiffness to 15 clicks in all round. I do notice some bouncing on swooping roads, I didn’t mess with the preload on installing. Should I just dial them in stiffer or upgrade to T6’s?

Great info!!! 95% of a nice riding coilover is related to having the correct preload and people don’t research how to do it correctly.
I've been throught a couple of Coilover on my cars due to Ride height preference. I have the cheapest set of (Blue) maxpeeding coils on my 1st Gen CRV. They ride well but you can't drop them as much as i would like. Even at its max lowering setting the fronts will sit up high. Also be sure to Tighten the top hats because the will come a loose after a while. Im sure the new sets of Maxpeeding coilovers addressed these issues

i put maxpeedingrods coils on my em1 with the intentions of them being temporary. 2 years later and they're still on cause they ride fine lol. Rides 10x better than the truharts i had on my fg2 previously
I bought the t7s and im having trouble with adjusting one of the rears. Its like the cup is crossthreaded from the packaging and i cant get it to spin without the whole shock turning too. Pain in the ass. Any tips ?
