    Hi Caroline...I am all ready for lunges! I expect this one will burn...40 minutes of concentrated lunges will be tough...but lunges are such a brilliant exercise for lower body that I am sure it will fell great once I have finished!! Looking forward to it. I see the pistol squats are in there towards the end!! Once again you have thought out a fantastic range of exercises! Thank You! Matthew

      Hi Caroline...just done this...it is a really great routine! I love the way you bring in many different muscle groups in the exercises. Keeps everything interesting and at the end you feel that you have had a brilliant workout.And as you say it really works the core! Brilliant burnout at the end!! You are just so fantastic at devising exercise programmes...there is no one to compare with you!! Have a lovely day. Matthew

    Is it weird that I tear up sometimes when I hear the finished end song? Like, I get overwhelmed with emotion because I cannot believe how hard I work and what I am capable. I never knew!

    I try not to read the comments before I do the workout because they give me such motivation! The first thing I do after I finish the workout is head straight to the comments. We are all so strong! Knowing I'm not the only one struggling (but also growing!!) is such an amazing feeling. Going strong and not planning on stopping anytime soon. I look forward to each workout; they are my favorite parts of my days! Can't wait to do EPIC II after this!

    "Make peace with Lunges, Do not fear them" is the mantra I kept saying to myself since last leg day. I even picked my favorites , coming in first is the Pivot Lunge and a close second is Lunge to glute squeeze! As for Pistol squats, I give myself 6 months to do 1/2 way of what Caroline does. Also remember to hydrate people, slows down lactic acid build up. And finally, I apologize to you CG. During the aforementioned pistol squats, I may or may not have called you "devil woman". I did not mean it, y'know I love you!

    When i say this one is the hardest im not lying 😭 lunges are always hard for me, and i was ready to give up halfway but after seeing all these comments im determined to continued till the end! Though it took me 1 hour to complete this im still so proud of myself 🥺

      Pistol squats aren't achievable for me because I'm 54 with arthritic knees and damaged MCLs, but I killed the lunges and just did 1/2 pistol squats on a chair. Good luck to both of you getting there with those pistols!

    I’m a physio. All of the advanced balance training exercises in this workout were wonderful! I know they’re hard, people, but this is the kind of stuff we all need to be doing, to the best of our abilities, to stay as active and functional as possible ❤️

    I was completely unmotivated due to a restless evening and a long day. After the first set of lunges, all the worries melted away and bam into the zone. I normally hate lunges but today went suprisingly quick!

    I’ve been a regular gym goer for many years and love exercising. So sick of the gyms closing all the time because of lockdowns here in Melbourne Australia. I’ve cancelled
    my membership because I’m getting more out of Caroline’s workouts.Totally loving these workouts, I love the way you get her heart rate up without realising it’s happening. Always looking forward to the next workout.

    I was all in for today's workout thinking. I've done 2 weeks of EPIC I got this lunge workout....half way thru my leg was shaking haha. Active cal 300 I was SO happy to see "burnout". I really enjoy the mix of db and body weight workout. Thank you Caroline!

    Before "knowing" you I hated lunges and many times I skipped this part of workouts that included them. I, now, can't wait to return home from work to do the full lunges workout, you make me LOVE THEM because of the difference I see at my legs 💪🦵

      I can relate! That being said, they are SO beneficial. The more you do them, the stronger you will get. Like Caroline says, the timer is just a guide, so do them with the best QUALITY you can and if you need to rest longer, go ahead. That pause button can be your friend!

    This took me about an hour to finish but I completed it am proud of myself... At the 50% mark I wanted to quit but kept at it you guys can do it to the strength comes from within 👍

      Aurora lunges is my weakest and when I saw the post I was not going to do it but that little voice told me you gat this. I rested a few times more than Caroline but I completed it all the way through

    OMG!!! I almost quit after 30%, then I saw the HALF WAY to feel epic and I thought :what the... I can do this!!! And I just finished the whole session!!! 💃🥳🥳🥳And EPIC is the only thing I feel.... No legs, almost no arms from yesterday!!! 🥵.... I... Loved it!!!

    Thanks a lot, Caroline I completed day 17 as of today. I had shoulder pain and back pain before training. Despite forcing them, it gets better, and I am feeling good right now. I will share my comments again whenever I competed in the EPIC I.

    I must admit I was scared to do a whole class of
    lunges but I really enjoyed it I especially loved the lunge to squeeze

    Was dreading this one… have a hate hate thing with lunges but I REALLY enjoyed it! One or two I need to work on but the difference in my range of motion after just a few weeks doing your program is unbelievable! Thank you for these workouts simply amazing ❤️

    Day 17 completed!
    Honestly, I was dreading this workout just because I'm kinda scared of lunges after the last leg workout with lunges(week 2)💀💀💀
    And I skipped a day because of this fear.
    When I finally did this workout today, time flew by. It was so much fun, even though it was hard! Wow! I really am getting better💃💪🔥

    No fricking way, that was so hard omg.. I dreaded doing this, but the first step is always the hardest! You just gotta start and then you can’t afford to stop, it’s just the way it is. I can for sure say that this felt better and I PERFORMED better than the previous lunge workout! Makes me feel super accomplished and proud! Caroline, this was truly awesome, the feeling after is always a treat! Those 3 tap lunges were so much fun btw! Felt like a dance move😝 super excited for tomorrow!😍

    After finishing Epic Heat, Epic 3, Epic Endgame, Iron, Fuel and many of her shorter minisieries, I smashed this with 11 kg and it was doable - except for the pistols. I modified them with the lowest step of my plyo box. My overall strength (legs, back, core, arms, grip= have improved so much, thanks to CGs fantastic workouts. My body is capable of so many more things now (longer handstands, crossack squats etc= and is improving every day. Thank you so much, Caroline, happy new year to all of you and I am excited with what she is coming up next.

    As soon as I saw this was a lunge workout I said to myself "no way am I going to make it through this one" lunges are my weakness. But, I pushed through and made it till the end! Great work Caroline

    I am enjoying your Epic program more than I have ever enjoyed any other weight or aerobic based program. I need structure to have good meaningful workouts and this provides it. For me there’s no guesswork; the moves are explained well, the timer runs so I know how long I should do each exercise and - bonus! - there’s a rest period too! This is quite challenging but also quite satisfying when I finish every workout dripping in sweat but feeling accomplished that I did it. Keep up the great work. I intend to do this entire program twice. My goal is to be able to do burpees properly and more than 3 in 20 seconds! I’m in my mid-60s and burpees weren’t anything that was ever on my radar when I was young and fit. Good luck to all.

Yes this is a perfect program to repeat as it is structured and you will absolutely notice progress in your strength, stamina, co-ordination, balance and flexibility.... but also a more confident mind set to complete certain movements!     When I saw this was going to be another lunge leg workout let me say I sure was dreading it!! But today I noticed a HUGE difference in my leg strength vs. the previous leg workouts. Really feel like I’m making gains and that is super exciting. Thanks for all your hard work and these amazing videos, Caroline! You’re awesome!!

    This was such a feel-good workout for me. I feel absolutely incredible working on the balancing moves and engaging my core with mind to muscle connection. You are truly the best, Caroline! 💜
    ✅12/15 - Used 20lbs and the yoga block. I didn’t use block the first time.
    ✅10/13 - Used 20lbs! 🙌 Always a bonus when I can be (almost) on par with Caroline with weights used! 👊

      Here to report that my quads and glutes are sooooooooore! I used the yoga block yesterday (12/15) and wow! It made a difference because I didn’t remember being this sore the first time. 😆

    Done!! It was tough but now I feel great once again. Rear lunge to pistol squat is still very difficult for me. I wonder if I'll ever be able to complete the move ... It was a great session!!     Brilliant Caroline, what a challenge! I found a weakness on my right knee especially when doing the pistol squats, I have to help myself up with the other hand to get me up and down - hopefully my right knee will eventually get stronger 🤞🏻. This was such an exciting workout I couldn’t wait for the next move, such innovative and creative exercises. My legs are like jelly! I loved the 3 point angle squat taps and front and back curtesy squats. I really feel I deserved my dinner tonight and have worked up such a big appetite, thanks Caroline 😃👌🏻👏🏻👍🏻

    #17 done! Over 1/2 way back to 33, where i will pick up and persevere to the END!!! Woot woot WOOT! It was a bit hard to motivate myself but then my handsome Mr dropped an unexpected compliment on me and its all thanks to YOU, Caroline and your generosity.     Hi Caroline! I started my weight loss journey in August 2021. Since I started working out according to your programme and doing some of your other workouts prior epic 1, I lost a total of 14 kg and a couple of cm-s from all parts of my body. I became much stronger physicly and mentally as well.
    I enjoy every single workout with you, although I really hate lunges 😄 I am so thankful! 🥰

    Epic again! I'm really enjoying these workouts. Everything is easier when I'm stronger. Tbh I forget balance work. None of us will ever get any younger and it should be a HABIT. Who wants a broken hip or shoulder when we get old?

    What I love of your programme Caroline
    is that every single workout is a new challenge and I can feel every time a new level of soreness ( during and afterwards 😆) and this is good news for our personal achievement and goal!!!     Really enjoyed this! I have been working out and lifting for years following other PTs but they were never really focusing the workout on a certain area ie. Arms,abs or legs but only now am I seeing and feeling a massive difference since doing the programme- Thank you!!😘

    Great work! As always ;) Caroline, I actually used 22lbs each hand for the exercises PLUS my ankle weights for those lunges with taps and flute squeeze. I know you like to challenge yourself so I thought the idea might interest you :) Wish you the best!

    I really liked all the different variety. It never got boring even though it was all lunges. Very proud of myself for using two 20 pound weights the whole time. I had my 15s ready but never needed them. I'm getting stronger thanks to Caroline😁

    To be honest, I was so scared when I saw "lunges" because it's my weakest point, it really burns me so much every time. Today was one of the best lower body workouts I've done so far, I really liked it. There were so many alternative exercises to simple lunges that I forgot I was doing lunges in the first place! Thank you for the effort and creativeness you put in every workout video!

    I repeated this video for a second time, 1 year after completing it the first time, using 30lbx2 (previously 15lbx2) and I'm soooo happy to say I found it significantly easier this time around! Proof I'm getting stronger (with 3 Epic programs under my belt)! Thank you so much Caroline :)

    I do different kind of lifting since a few years and now started your program because the gyms are closed and my motivation was totally lost. Every Workout I am amazed what work and structure you put in every workout and how fun it always is next to being as hard as possible. I will totally go through this 10 week programm even if the gyms open during that time again. And then probably continue with EPIC II!

    This morning the alarm starting to ring: time for my workout with Caroline! But my bed wanted to keep me a bit more when suddenly I remembered it was lower body today and lunges!! Can’t believe you make me love lunges and this workout was so nice LOVED IT!     So here’s my problem with pistol squats….if I manage to get that low…how do I get back up??? 🤣 I actually have done a few with yoga block assistance.

    I love these workouts. I feel like Im gaining way more than I did when I was lifting for myself. I love lunges, so this is gonna be fun. Im still recovering from a sinus infection I got last week but Im starting to feel like my stronger younger self.

    Hi Caroline, I am so glad to have found you. I have been doing Insanity and Body Beast for a long while and this makes it so much better to change up things. All your workouts bring different moves to the table and that makes it easier to enjoy. Seeing your fit body makes me more motivated to take on the challenge of your video's. I will be 54 this year and I intend to look great for an old lady!
