I just finished whittling down my makeup collection and hot dang, I can't express enough how much I love companies that are selling refills in the little trays instead of making me buy the packaging every time. I decluttered a bunch of my single eyeshadows and was able to fit all my blushes and a highlight pan in the same magnetic palette with what was left.
Hannah - did you see Leena Norms recent video where she picked out lipsticks, tried them on for the camera, then wrote a poem with the lipstick name as a prompt? I thought it was fun and something you would enjoy, I'd also love to see a similar video concept from you! :)

The packaging of the Kaleidos highlighters makes me ridiculously happy everytime I see it, even though it’s so impractical. I have a few, but my favourite package is the old mars melter, its red and shiny 🤩 I don’t use them that often either but I love mars melter or comet catcher on my eyes. I have this satiny light smokey grey eyeshadow that I do a halo eye with and then that translucent pinky red shine in the middle of the eyelid 👌🏼👌🏼

I’m pretty sure Kiki G explains why in her video discussing the palette! I think it had to do with easy of removing/moving the shades around? Like she left room for you to stick your fingers in without smushing your finger in the pan
I hope you are remembering to have fun during this adventure and that you are slowly settling in the new place! I just opened netflix and the notification for this video popped up so I guess netflix is out of the plans, chilling with my fav is IN!
I just travelled for three weeks and did a similar process and I was thrilled with my choices and used everything at least once, even with quite a few non-makeup days. I did want to mention that if the climate you are going towards is different, just keep that in mind. Like creams are tough in humidity. Also, definitely hold on to the BK Brushes. I do love Rephr, but I like BK BETTER!
I love your collection. It is so different from a majority of the beauty youtubers I watch. I also really enjoy how you view your collection and listening to your thought process. I don't personally wear makeup except when I have shows but I love watching it and seeing products. Also the sound of the sped up clips scratched my brain just right. Hope the move goes well!

I really admired two key parts of this video: One is that you allowed yourself to say that it was too overwhelming to do a deep declutter and just did a quick sweep of everything. I know a younger me would've stressed out and made myself absolutely take the time to meticulously consider every single item. But seeing you so casually decide not to was so refreshing and a reminder to allow myself to make things easier. Two is re-evaluating your final decisions. It's definitely practical to review and make sure, but I don't see enough people making that extra assessment at the end of declutters. Whether it's to remove duplicates, or in your case, just par down, I think it's the most important step!
I've been sick for the past couple days and just got off work, so I'm SO excited to settle in with some warm tea and watch this 😌😌😌 Editing to say that when you have the time (likely post-move) it would be great to see some looks made with your final temporary makeup bag (aka the makeup you survived on throughout the move). It was absolutely fun to hear your thoughts process about picking up makeup products for the travel. I'm looking forward to listening your feedback. I always struggle with it when I have to pack my makeup kit for a short period use. I often end up building a massive kit or buying a makeup during the phase because I didn't pack something I need. That being said, take your time, take good care of yourself.

For synthetic brushes BK is the best I've tried. I personally prefer natural brushes for most things but when I use synthetic I usually go with BK Beauty.

I've heard great things about BK brushes. They are often cited as the best synthetic brushes for people who prefer natural hair but are CF. I've heard they are very soft & excellent quality. I've been meaning to try them but I don't like having too many brushes & mainly use my Rephyr, Esum, It Cosmetics & Real Techniques brushes.

Seeing your toothbrush case in with the makeup reminded me of the last time I moved. I put my toothbrush in my makeup brush cup and actually packed it 🙃 I had to reopen every box from that day to find it.
Love this video!!! I see that you’re reviewing the Kosas foundation. I’ve tried the Kosas revealer concealer and the old 10-second liquid eyeshadow. I liked both products but they went bad on me very quickly. The concealer smelled like blue cheese at around 6 months and the eyeshadow smelled rancid at about 10 months. It seems that Kosas products are known to have a very short shelf-life. I’d love to know your thoughts on that, especially since your reviews are so thorough and you always keep budget in mind 🙂
