After you say can i have 30 second and they say no then say how about 20 second still no then say how about 10 second and add little laugh while saying it. They will also laugh and be impressed how you're dedicated and they will give you 10 second. I've tried it so many times and it worked.

Mai directly customer ko apna naam or firm ka naam leke call karta hu, customer interested hoga toh he or she say yes or else no requirement/not interested bol ke customer disconnect the call.
Or aapne Jo bola hai be confident, yes Mai poorey confident ke sath call karta hu. Or aisa karne se of course result milta hai.
1. Know the name before Call.
2. Tell them it's Cold Call.
3. Give them a Choice either they can disconnect the call or they can listen to me for 30 seconds.

I feel if we ask can i have 30 sec, it is a open ended question. Here there is a chance of saying No. Instead try to deliver the information in very precise in the first 30 sec

It's been more than 7 years now that I am in sales and into B2B IT sales. Calling doesn't work so much because, the people that we are trying to reach out are Directors, Heads, VPs and CXOs. They simply don't like to talk on phone. But still these companies doesn't understand and wants sales people to reach out on calls.
So you can connect with them on their LinkedIn id and choose to mail them they will definitely reply you because our company is also do the same but we don't do cold calling.
