Hmmm the bottom plate, the battery compartment? And is just the door or like the entire battery compartment is falling out? Would have to take him apart and put it back in if the entire compartment is coming out, there's usually a piece on each side of the shell that holds it in so their compartment doesn't fall out so as long as that's in tact.

Most old furbies were kept in basements, attics, etc. They just need a little clean after so long, but you need to skin them to do that 😁
