I feel that we have lost a jewel now that Judith has hung up her dress for the last time. I am bereaved. I never thought all those years ago that we would be without her truly awesome presence on stages around the world.
That's my feeling too, which is why I was so surprised that in her auto bio Judith stated that in her early career with the Seekers and in other music she sang the music didn't move her. She just sang to be singing. I'm so glad that at some point , perhaps after she met & married Ron, that something changed in her and she truly felt the music and the words move her.
The greatest singer of our time with a voice that is instantly recognizable. We are so fortunate to have been born when she was sill performing and writing songs of this quality
