Will the scout 430 last me a life time with much care. I fear pvc in Florida will break down the boat. I will blow it up use it then wash it out of salt water dry it deflate it store it inside my AC . When again going out blow it up and use , then continue clean dry deflate store
I was curious if they are more stable ! I can't kayak fish in over 25kmh winds ! I have expensive equipment if I flip the kayak it's going to be pricey..
You can but they are too narrow. It’d get tippy. I’ve put o-rings on back of transom that take a sit-on-top kayak dolly like the sea to summit ones. I’ve also seen 2x4 wood across the bottom with wheels on the end. Could probably remove wheels and put the 2x4 through the oar mounts and use again as accessory mount
@@Cimmeron that's a good idea with the rings. I've managed to put on square tubes to not only fit a scupper cart but a fish finder mount that slides into one of the tubes and pins into it.
Can you tell me the link to buy your swivel seat and mount? Also what psi should I inflate on the side tube and the floor? Thanks
LOL - "You can add up to 5 hp motor" - immediately hangs 8 hp motor on boat.
dude i have an 8 on mine... I get up to 22mph!!!

No rod holders?
Im curious, could you fit transom wheels on either side of a 6hp with a transom that narrow?

@@slacktide_angler I started with pvc pipe but thought it would squirt water up when under power. That doesn’t happen?
@@Cimmeron I capped them off at the top. Also, they didn't run all the way to the bottom of the transom.
"up to five horse power" puts 8 hp outboard on boat
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
5 hp Max...loads 8hp. Sorry, I want more power than a MinnKota
