Outstanding. The open dialogue. The patience. The way Joe lets Myles talk without pressure. So chill. So well done. Mutual respect right here.
I could listen to Myles sing and play all day. Seen him live solo, with Slash and AB. All very different and all amazing.
What a great episode. They’ve all been awesome but I am a particular fan of Myles who not only possesses the best voice in modern rock but is a grossly underrated player and musician. Thank you Joe for doing these!
When Myles had his Epiphany when he first heard 'Whole Lotta Love' and he said it sounded "forbidden". I felt the same way when I first heard Guns n' Roses, and I bought Appetite on vinyl in 1988. I get that.
AlterBridge and Myles Kennedy are game changers for me - a long time rock and metal guy who thought great guitar based heavy melodic music died in the 90’s! AlterBridge is just fantastic and all their albums are top tier music! I feel So lucky and so blessed having discovered them to restore my faith in rock music made and played by real musicians!
Whoever gave this a thumbs down, CHOKE YOURSELF! Fantastic as always Joe.
been a big fan of all the slash/kennedy albums ...but this is the 1st interview ive ever seen with miles, & man, he just seem like such a great guy... awesome interview! thank u joe, & thank u miles, & god bless fellas!
Amazingly talented man. Underrated guitarist. Fantastic voice. And down to earth. Top man. Legend
A guy this talented but also this modest...is a rarity. Miles is a solid dude.
I love the great conversation between these two great likable people so much, I like to watch it very often and often. A wonderful experience to be able to listen and watch, thank you very much. please more of you two lovely talented nice guys! Please please !!!!!
Two of my absolute favorites. Masters of their craft!
These are role models. Humble beginnings and put in the work 🤘
"It's not a competition. It's music. " Thank you. ♡♡
Myles is down to earth and very humble
I’d like to see an Ian Thornley and Myles Kennedy project. Two awesome guitar players and singers.
Love it, Myles is so damn cool, nice guy, Joe, you are awesome, thanks for doing these and all the other great things you do giving back. God Bless
Great interview. Myles seems to be a REAL nice guy! Talented and a wonderful human being. Nice to see.
Myles seems like a really nice fella! I keep forgetting that he's also a guitar player!
Loved this interview!
Finally I have something in common with a real rock star. I have also -30db dip in my hearing, just like Myles. Joe explains well how in the restaurant he can hear people from the other tables better than his own friends in the same table. I work in an open office, which is a real nightmare for anybody with poor hearing; I can hear every person in the huge room, far or close ,speaking at the same level. That's why I'm very happy to work from home now (maybe the only good thing about COVID19). Great interview !
Great conversation between these two amazing musicians
I'm so impressed by Myles love of Jazz and fusion.. talking about Miles and Coltrane.. Thanks for the interview Joe.. You and Myles: Two really great and talented people..
Guys, ignore the trolls here. This is my favorite interview of the year by two of the most enduring legends in modern music! One of the few interviews I will watch repeatedly. A million thanks for letting us get to know you a little. Miles, as a fellow (former) Idahoan you’re an asset to our beautiful, more sparsely populated, state. Rock on! I can’t wait to see you in concert (as well as you again, Joe!)
Joe, how do I get a “live from Nerdville” hat?
Great interview. Both are a credit to the greater Music community. All the best and look forward to continued success.
Joe, these shows are soooo good. This one is now my favorite. Myles Kennedy. Saw Slash, the Conspirators and Myles a couple years ago in Boston. Wow. Every single one of them, fantastic players. Myles is an amazing singer, power, melody, range, the real deal. Slash was great as usual. It's cool to watch this. 2 amazing musicians, who are also down to earth.
This was a fantastic interview. Two of my favorite people - I have such tremendous respect and admiration for both. Cheers 🍻
I've been a big fan of Myles' music for a decade now. Super excited Joe is going to meet Myles and us fans of both artists get to watch it here. Thanks Joe. - Lee F'nd.
My favourite singer of the last few years! Totally under rated guitar player as well!! Joes no slouch either!
I just love when a musician is able to extract such great into from another musician! So great...
Where have I been? Under a rock, no doubt.
Myles, I’ve been listening to your music all afternoon, and it’s been a wonderful journey! Thank you! ❤️.¸¸.☆
So glad for Joe’s interview series, which has introduced me to so many wonderful artists and music people.
Awesome!! I would love a series of these discussions between these two guys!
Besides being a great talent, Myles is such a nice guy!
Wonderful interview , Joe does great job as an interviewer nice and relaxed . Really didn’t know much about Myles other then his music which I really like . Now I like what he has to say and what he gives back. I think I could hang with him :-)
Happy Trails
Sooo awesome and interesting stories again JOE❣️ and your visitor Myles🌹Happy to see you☀️SMILE☀️sooo much JOE❣️and I love You Really Much😘❤️💕☀️🇫🇮☀️
Two Legends just casually chatting.
Myles!!!!! One of my fave singers. Big fan of Alter Bridge. I think on my mp3 player its mostly stacked with Joe and AB.... Keep it going guys !!!!....✌✌
What an excellent conversation by two extremely mellow gentlemen...well done! Joe seems very much a conisuer of music history and it's future. By the way, first time I've heard him swear.
Myles is AWESOME - great singer - even better guitar player - thanks Joe !
Two of my favorite humans/artists right here. And Joe as an interviewer is great and getting even better. Being from Western New York State, we got to hear and support 12 year old Smokin Joe locally when Brother Wease at WCMF in Rochester championed him as a kid. We supported him at every show we could. Got to know his way cool folks a little. I'm surrounded to this day by people who feel invested in Joe's art because we saw him grow into the human he is today. And now as old farts we meet up at local gigs of new artists so we can support and cheer and encourage them as well. Kudos to Myles and Joe.
When we had to be our own roadies we would wear hoodies so it looked like it wasn’t us hauling our own gear. It worked pretty well. Great interview.
Myles voice is unreal... in a league of his own!
Great interview. 2 real talents, and Joe lets Myles speak without interruptions unlike so many 'interviewers'. The mutual respect is clear
awesome job , u should do a part 2 with these greats talking so much to learn from these guys!! BIG FAN OF BOTH BANDS
What a great interview Myles is awsome down to earth dude
Adoro as músicas do alter bridge e as músicas do Joe bonamassa, from brazil here!!!!

Thanks guys went places rarely heard. Peers. I love it when guests ask you, Joe, about your experiences with topics. Fun stuff!
Myles is the man
Thank you. This was fun. Royal Tea is slammin' BTW. My goodness.
Great interview with myles
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE #AlterBridge! Been a fan since One Day Remains. The music these guys put out is at the top of my list!!! Myles always comes across as such a mellow, unassuming, everyday guy. So wish the meet & greet I bought a few years back allowed time to chat. One day will meet the guys again. One day. \m/
Love your music too Joe! Have to spring for a meet & greet with you one day as well. :)
I love these interviews Joe, you'r preperation and dedication shines through!
Joe, you forgot to talk about guitars! Myles from what I understand is a bit of a collector too. Always a next time ;)
So great
Both great humble . Great interview Joe!!!
Great interview !! And I gotta love it when the interviewee asks the interviewer a question.
Great interview! Big fan of both guys.Keep bringin the music!
Man... I'm binge watching all your interviews and I must say that your questions are always top notch!
💖
Joe, thank you for this show. It is amasing to hear all the stories about various artists influences and begginings, awesome !
Top notch! Thank you both for a really cool convo!
I love how Myles describes himself as being as "dangerous as a batch of shih tzu puppies"
thanks joe, thanks myles! never realized that was zakk and jason bonham "steel dragon" now i gotta ask everyone i see today if they noticed that too
You guys are Awesome !!! 🌟💖🥂🌋👍 Can't wait to see the Two of You perform together !!! 💯🎵🎸🎙️🪕🥁🎷🎹🔥💞🎉
Loved the conservation about signing. Joe’s singing has improved so much from his early recordings.
Signing ???
@@shualatin I suck at speling :-)
What a wonderful interview! With the chemistry these two had, they could have kept talking for hours.
Great interview!! Thank you both!!
I had tinnitus start in late nineties but my overall hearing was cut by a Slash gig in a small venue . I wear ear plugs now at gigs but feel I’m missing so much . I’m surprised Joe doesn’t suffer more as he plays LOUD ! I saw him in a small venue and he had a Silver Jubilee and some other goodies . Good guys here , real pros ! 👍
Terrific interview Joe, many thanks to both. Russ
Joe is very good conversationalist. Manners!
Thank you Joe!!
Was counting the hours today and enjoyed it!!
Aloha🤙🏽
I don’t know if it was because you had to do it twice, but I think this was your best interview so far. I hope you continue with these after things get back to normal.
🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️
Excellent
"My name is Thor, and i got a THUNDEEEEEEEER!!"
Legend.
Great conversation Joe. Thanks for this!
I just recently discovered dean delrays podcast. Went back through the archives and listened to your interview Joe. Then started following your Instagram, then find out you are doing a podcast. Holy shit. Keep it up man, look forward to listening to this
that was great thanks!
Myles is a great singer. Not my personal style preference that I like to listen too, but he’s a top, top vocalist.
That guys a good dude!
I've really been enjoying these episodes, the Mr Bonamassa
Another great interview Joe!
Great interview! Awake at 2.am to see you. Such a talent and charming man! I love his music
Awesome interview Thanks gentlemen!
Great interview
Missed another premiere, 3 am- it's too early.. But!!! It is early in the morning and I'm here! Love your interviews, Joe!
Great interview. Enjoyed it
Hopefully he can get Mark Tremonti on soon
I did see a stay-at-home-interview like this one with other members of Alter Bridge with the Kentucky-band Black Stone Cherry, but without Myles. (ruclips.net/video/VKtN7ohBFXU/видео.html)
PS: I think Black Stone Cherry is a great band also
Yeah I really hope so
Interesante entrevista, genial 😏
Dudes got Class.
Get Mark Tremonti on!
Interesting that Stevie Wonder is a vocal God to Myles and influenced his singing career. Another artist I know who feel that way is Danny Bowes, lead singer of British band Thunder. '..key of life' album a must listen.
EXCELLENT YOU ARE AN ALIEN GENIUS.
Damn, was hoping they would talk about Chris Whitley... since I know they are both fans
Joe You wouldn't like to do a duo song with Mark Knopler, it would be cool.
Joe your the best! These interviews are fun and informative." Brad Pitt laughed at me" lol
Yes Joe, we know 😆
I've lost 90db in my left ear and 55db in my right ear, from a surgical mistake. That convinced me to quit my day job and gig for a living while I'm able. I've just celebrated my 7th year but the Covid lockdown rules mean I'm losing my future !
requesting you interview Myles Goodwyn of April Wine and Pat Travers. Im not even canadian, but both these guys have gotten overlooked, they are both some of the very best guitarists even though neither makes top 100 lists. Also Buck Dharma.
I am by no means a professional musician bu to relate to the comment on background noise, if the sink is running at home I can’t hear someone speak right next to me.
Or if the radio is on in the car and my kids are in the back and my wife is talking I can’t hear a thing
