It’s a great battle pack! The TIE Interceptors are practically the right colour and the battle damaged Millennium Falcon is great and the figures are amazing.
Agreed the painting has improved a ton. I have done a handful of interviews with the brand manager and they are not going to do figure packs. The best way to fill out the vehicles is with the scout class figures.
That’s a great question! It would have been nice to have wings that are interchangeable. Although the series 1 and 2 tie cockpit does seem a shade small.
@13:13 -- Why?! Why would they make the TIE Interceptor bigger? Shouldn't all the TIE variants have somewhat similarly sized cockpits? We're reverting back to the Action Fleet era of mismatched TIE fighters....
I agree! I am not sure why they went this route. Possibly to use the mold for other tie fighters in the future?!?! It would have been cool to be able to interchange the wings also. When you see the interceptor next to an xwing it looks out of proportion and based on the scaling done on Rebelscale.com they are off quite a bit.
Almost certainly because they're using the CAD files from Rogue One as a basis for the TIE Fighter mold. The Rogue One TIEs have slightly shrunken cockpits, as do the TIE Fighters from subsequent shows that re-use the Rogue One TIE models. The TIE Interceptors and the TIE Bombers in current stuff have the larger cockpits as they've always had. It's the TIE L/N that has the inaccurate cockpit, not the Interceptor.
I think that my top micro galaxy squadron wish is the sandcrawler, might be a good oppertunity to get some jawas and a nice full intior vehicle! maybe some at the top and some on the sides? i would love that from micro galaxy squadron
Haha. So funny story. I recorder all this video and was going back through and editing it and realized in the instructions it calls it the quad canon…ugh! I had a feeling I was saying the wrong thing but it sounded cool so I kept it on there. On the next Falcon review, which I am sure we will get another one in the future, I will get the terminology correct. Thanks for the heads up though!!
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, I don’t have the Bandai model. Although you could use the measurements I show to compare against the measurements of the completed Bandai model.
The biggest problem with this line are the horrible paint jobs. The weathering & battle damage on this Falcon looks horrible. When I get this set I'm going to have to remove it all & repaint it. Jazwares needs to learn that if you're not gonna bother doing it right then you shouldn't bother doing it at all. These paint jobs are so sloppy & lazy. They're trying to make the scale accurate but don't even attempt to make the paint jobs accurate. Look how much black paint they globbed on the radar dish & on the body of the Y-Wing. They don't know what a light black-wash is. They are supposed to use a very watered down black paint. Basically water with just a touch of black paint. But instead, they are using thick black paint at full concentration. That's NOT how you do a black-wash.
The paint job and color scheme on the Endor Rebels is horribly done. Action Fleet had a way better paint jobs on their figures and they were holding weapons. It's like Jazwares is lacking imagination and dedication to the source material.
Great review Kevin! The Tie Interceptors and Battle-scarred Falcon look amazing.
Awesome ! I was waiting for your review before I bought this

That's the dorsal quad cannon. Ventral goes underneath.
I'm impressed with the way they've managed to paint such tiny figures. Any plans for them to release figure multipacks like MM did in the 90's?

My question is, why did they make the Interceptor cockpit larger than the series 1 and 2 TIE?

@@kmtanner04 a question for Max when he pops up next. "Are the TIEs getting a new larger scale? Or was the Interceptor too small?"
I hope for future releases with more accurate scaling. Snowspeeder should have been in the light armor class and a touch smaller

Yeah they fugged it up

Where did you get the stand for the Falcon?
3D printed myself. The file can be found on Etsy. www.etsy.com/listing/1480733422/
@@kmtanner04 Thank you
@3:09 -- Small correction. I think you mean "dorsal", not "ventral"?

Any idea when the u wing will be out?
Early 2024
Can you put the Batuu Dish on the Destroy the Death Star Falcon?
@@PSN9695 good question. I think so the connector should be the same.
Hi, can you compare MSG Mill Falcon with 1/44 scale Bandai Mill Falcon please.

Sooooo how is it a target exclusive if its found at toys r us in canada...and other retailers international 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Haha. I guess it’s exclusive in Targets in the US but not exclusive to the US alone.
I can almost stop collecting MGS after this set..... well... gotta find a red one
The red interceptor won’t be out until likely Christmas time.
I JUST STARTER WITH THE IMPERIAL TROOP TRANSPORT T.T
