I got this shuttle myself, if you watch the beginning of return of the Jedi, you’ll notice that the emperors shuttle actually has a dark gray stripe along the centerline that differentiates itself from the others… this one should have and doesn’t. But that’s a pretty minor nitpicky thing that most people never even noticed. Great video. Keep up the good work.
Great review as always. I'm very excited to get this one. I'm thinking when they're easier to get I may do a Vader shuttle variant. My only wish was if the landing gear extended so we could lower the ramp fully to have a line of guards displayed with the emperor walking down. Would be so cool.
I really like the new shuttle. I have the small action fleet one, bought it new at a convention for $20, looks good on a shelf but very small I think. The new one holds more and is more interesting to me, and despite what some say it is to scale with the At at, an imperial shuttle is just as big as one with the wings open
The Landed Prop on stage for the Shuttle was modified from the Flight model to better accommodate the walkway. When I discovered this I stopped trying to build it.
Wow that’s very interesting! Good to know. It does seem like it would be propped up really high to make the walk way come down enough to fit under the cockpit.
So I picked one up today after finding them at my Walmart here in Tampa. And I found out the only one I could find was broken the part at the tail end on the right wing side was missing a big gap that looks like it was a mold that was broken and smoothed out looks bad but I've contacted Jazweare and I'm on standby to see what happens but maybe I can paint the spot making it look like it was struck by the fighter when they hijack the shuttle
Haha! Nice. Love it when we’re able to create some stories about these. Their customer service is really good. You should be able to get another one in the future and/or they will be able to replace it. Good luck! Bummer to hear you found a damaged one.
Man, I though the lfit on top was bad but it comes off to reveal the inside! They really need to up their instruction game! Can't wait to get this on the Legion table.
These are $29.99 at most major retailers. They have been showing up in Walmarts all over the US. Amazon has been coming in and out of stock as people cancel their preorders since they are getting them at Walmart. There is no need to pay scalper prices as these will be widely available.
hey love the video but i like to ask something in the beginning, what and were did you get those droid control ships? they look great and love to found one myself. thanks,.
Thanks for the comment! The Droid Control Ship is from Action Fleet from the late 90s. They are super rare but occasionally pop up on eBay. If you can get one in or out of the box for $150 or less it’s a good deal!
That’s the first I have heard of it not clicking. I got a second and it has the opposite problem where it not all the way up. On the versions I have you need to put a little pressure to lock it but I would recommend pushing too hard. Worse comes to worse if you still have the packing I would exchange it.
I loved the old Action Fleet line. I had the full sized ships to display and the Action Fleet were the ones I played with. I still have all of mine. Some of the Micro Galaxy ships seem smaller than the action fleet versions? Like the TIE fighters look to be very small compared to the Action Fleet TIEs (maybe I'm misremembering, I'll watch a few of your videos for comparison since you have both the Action Fleet and the Micro Galaxy ones), but then some like this Shuttle, the Falcon and the AT-AT are much larger. I'd kind of like to collect these but they just seem too expensive to me. The Shuttle is really cool, but I don't know if it's $30+tax cool.
Yes. Micro galaxy is meant to be in scale with one another. Not perfectly but generally the right size. Large ships are larger. Small ships are smaller. Rebelscale.com has all the scales for the vehicles to this point. They are a bit all over the place with the scale. Action fleet ships were not in scale with each other they were designed to be 5-7” in any dimension. They were amazing for the time they came out!
Agreed there are some proportions that are off for sure. I do like the size though. Especially, compared to the Action Fleet one. The interior design is also really fun. If I would have any real request it would be to have an actual front landing gear versus the ramp and have the landing gear sightly longer so it sits higher off the ground.
You need to bend them at the hips them slide them in like I show in the video. If it’s a little too difficult, the holders re rubber and you can bend them a little to loosen them. Then try again.
I do find the idea of Palpatine having a copy of his throne onboard his shuttle amusing. I don't know if that's canonically accurate since I don't think we ever actually see the interior of his shuttle and I suppose it's more fitting than him just sitting in a regular seat, but it's still a funny thought.

Thanks! Agreed. If I get a second I will do one with the grey line.

I agree!
I've got me a Micro Galaxy shuttle - beautiful. But I want one of those Action Fleet ones, they're so cute looking
Haha! Yep they look like a baby next to the MGS one!
Got one comming to the UK can't wait it looks bang on n all
As a kid in the 70's 80's I always wanted to have this ship but never got it. Now there is a chance..
For sure! This is an awesome one also. The size is really incredible!!!
Man, that big kenner one is my grail piece. One day...
Absolutely spectacular! This is by far my favourite ship from Series 4!
It’s pretty cool! Hard to display with the wings down because it’s so big.

Typically the back of the box will show all the features for each vehicle. Glad to hear this will work for Legion also.
@@kmtanner04 yes, the scale is slightly small but it'll make great terrain!
Great review Kevin! Wow the MGS Shuttle blows the AF version out of the water.
Yes it does!
This thing is hard to find right now, even online at retail price.
Agreed! There will be more coming. It is a common series 4 starship class. Sounds like Best Buy has it available for online ordering.
How much is the MSRP, it just says unavailable everywhere,or it has an inflated scalper price

The ramp on mine will not stay down. There are no clicks and as soon as you let go of the ramp it snaps back up. Any advice on how to fix that?

On the versions I have you need to put a little pressure to lock it but I would recommend pushing too hard. Worse comes to worse if you still have the packing I would exchange it.
Mine came without one of the fixed frontal cannons.
They need to have better quality control over at Jazwares.
Totally agree! One of the shuttles I got the wings didn’t ratchet correctly.

So who pilots the shuttle?
Haha! Great question. I would guess imperial officers but we don’t have any of those yet.
You're imagination 😂
I just stuck a couple of TIE pilots in mine. Probably not accurate but eh, it works fine enough.
@@jeebus2313 in the original trilogy did we ever really see who piloted those things? Lol

This is a very cool piece, but the wings are way to short, it makes the cockpit look way to big! I still want one though!

Anyone else having a problem getting the red men royal guards figures to sit?

The wings on mine close all the way.
This looks really good considering the royal guards are exclusive to the set

They took extreme liberties with the outside to give us details on the inside.
