WOW! I love this! You're right, It is relaxing and I just want to keep going with this project! I love the look and texture! Thank you so much for sharing your creative fiber art! You're amazing!
I think it is made more difficult because the color of the yarn. And I am sure that it's difficult to make a tutorial. So I appreciate her for making the video.
Just found your channel and this is a lovely stitch! I make blankets to donate to Project Linus, and since they have specific requirements on size, I love to do square blankets that start from the middle. This is so similar to the moss stitch in the round I've been doing, but with a nice twist, so it was easy for me to pick up the rhythm.
Thanks! I used to make afghans years ago with squares that you put together in the end. I always liked crocheting. Maybe I will have to try something like this!
What a wonderful stitch pattern! I worked a quick swatch along with your video. I used a 6.5mm hook, 4 weight acryllic yarn. I just proved to myself that I'm a tight crocheter! I could have gone up another hook size for drape. This stitch would make wonderful washclothes. Thanks for sharing.
I love this pattern, however I have had a little trouble with joining rounds. I am in the process of making my blanket and enjoying it very much. Thank you for a lovely new pattern.❤😊
This is beautiful. Working on it now. Wondering 2 things....is there a written pattern somewhere? Is there a round blanket with this stitch. I'd love it!

I absolutely LOVE THIS! 😮 you did a perfect job teaching us. I do get the rhythm and am addicted now too. Thank you so very much! I’m so glad to find you today!❤
Yes, that tripped me up too and I had to keep starting over - seven times! I kept at it though and used a stitch marker for the first few rounds. It's going much better now and I'm well on my way. The stitch really is addictive once you get the hang of it. I'm going to try to adapt the stitch for C2C for rectangular blankets, plus they work up faster.
Hi this so beautiful and it's exactly what I needed to make thank you so much for your beautiful work.❤I have subscribed I'm from S.A. and I'm looking forward toore of your tutorials😊God Bless 🙏
I'm the same its impossible to see how the pattern should look, it looks just a mangled lump of colour ....please could you do it in plain yarn for newbies please
Such a beautiful pattern! You're such a lovely instructor. Thank you for posting this video. This is my first visit to your channel. I've subscribed, so I will be back to visit.🙂
I will consider making one. Until then you can try this: Make a chain and work the single crochet stitches (even number). At the end of the chain make a corner, 2 single crochet and a corner. Then work single crochets on the othe side of the chain back to the beginning of he chain. Another corner, 2 single crochets and a corner. Close, turn and work the pattern. I am not sure if this will not be wavy, It's just what I would try.
I also would like to do a rectangle. I'm going to give your suggestions a try. Could you please do a video on the magic ring. Yours looks like the easiest one I've ever seen! Thank you for sharing your skills!
I just found your channel. This blanket is very beautiful and I can't wait to start one and look forward to seeing more videos that you have done and the ones you do in the future.Thank you
I like this pattern & it seems easy enough but because I cannot see where you are “pulling up” from because of the way your hands are tilted forward, I’m not sure exactly where you are pulling up from around the chain one spaces & where the single crochet two together stitches are? Sorry, I am not a very experienced crocheter & I am older so maybe I’m just missing the obvious? But I do truly want to learn this because it is beautiful & easy & relaxing stitch❣️
Thank you! 💖 I understand that it was hard to see with that specific yarn. You pull up the loops like this: First insert your hook into the single crochet 2 together from the previous round and pull up a loop. Then insirt your hook UNDER the chain one made in the previous round and pull up a loop. Now you have 3 loops on your hook, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops. Chain 1. In the very first round you don't have the chain 1 spaces so you just single crochet 2 together and chain 1. The same happens at the very end of every side. Just do a single crochet 2 together and chain 1, then work the corner. And don't forget to turn your work after every round, otherwise the pattern does not work
Beautiful pattern, thank you for sharing. Just so you know for future videos, using a solid mid-color yarn in your tutorial makes it easier to see the stitches..the variegated yarn you used in this tutorial made it very difficult to see them…also, you had your camera too close to your work…at times very difficult to see, your hands blocking your work. Just want you to be successful.
It’s such a beautiful stitch. My eyes can’t really see what you are looking at as the white is intermittent. Perhaps I’ll come back once my cataracts are repaired and I’ll be able to see it better. I do love the stitch, oh well next time blessed.😊
Hello from Colorado!!! Your blanket is really pretty! Lythanda, could you please let us know the brand of yarn you are using, and the color name? I would like to consider buying the same yarn, Thank you very much!!

I saw you picking cat hair off your table - don't think I didn't ! [huge grin] What is your moggy's name ? Would you explain, please, how come you speak English so absolutely perfectly ??? When we anglophonic speakers learn German, we mash it horribly. :( Now that I have subscribed to your channel, I will hope to be inundated with work from you, Lythanda ! :)
@@Lythanda Good GRIEF ! - the Kobayashi Maru ? - when Captain James T. Kirk re-set the computer because he refused to be beaten ? You are a VERY SUPERIOR PERSON, Lythanda ! Many Aussie hugs to you !
I really think this is a beautiful pattern but because you are using a dark color yarn in this tutorial I can’t see where you making the next stitch. Also your explanation on how to do the pattern is so confusing I don’t understand half of what you are saying. Is it possible? For you to do it again and make it more understandable thank you.
I don't care for a highly texture stitch cooked with highly corrugated yarn. I think a highly textured stitch should be fine with a solid colored yarn so that the texture of the stitch shows. A corrugated or mixed colored yarn should have just a plain stitch to frame the colir of the yarn and the way it changes in the project.
