I've worked on that beasts software. It's awesome. It's a lot more capable than they experience, because the software isn't the same as the Swedes use. Smart move of Sweden to numb it but still give it an edge.
I’m a bit intrigued that US want Sweden in NATO so badly. Swedish weapons cost much less, is very effective and has reliable supply chains. Best of all, it isn’t a part of the US weapons lobby. What does weapon manufacturers in US think about this?
As for your question, american defense contractors have a good relationship with the Swedish militarty industrial complex in general. The new training jet for the american air force is the Boeing-Saab T-7 Red Hawk. That's just one example of the cooperation. The bigwigs at SAAB, Bofors and Ericsson and many others rejoice at joining NATO. Many of them have lobbied for that for decades. Some nations have always wanted to stay loyal and primarily buy from nations within the alliance. The most interesting thing to see is what effect it has on the JAS 39 Gripen sales..
Sweden has been a useful shadow member of NATO and is more useful outside of the alliance so i don't know why Sweden and Finland joined, many are confused about that in both nations. The theory is that it ws just a geopolitical move towards Russia, to be able to say that Russia's invasion meant to keep Ukraine outside of NATO made two bordering nations join up instead. A potential threat from Russia is what the entire Swedish military and military industrial complex is built around, and it's in their interest to keep the idea of an potential invasion alive even though they know it likely will never happen in our lifetime. The Swedish island of Gotland would be a helluva strategical prize for Russia and one that the Soviet ruskies always yearned for. Oher than that Scandinavia has nothing that Russia doesn't already have. And even outside of NATO Sweden has defensive treaties with enough countries to make it a very stupid move to invade. Would be very costly as well, they would meet swedish technology such as stealth subs and the combined might of Sweden's and Finland air forces at once which are no joke. Too costly for Russia to accomplish at the moment even if the UK and USA / rest of NATO didn't get involved. Sweden also has hardware/weaponry still unknown to the public that likely would make an surprise appearance during such an invasion. Military ventures within Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP) are some of the most secretive and well-protected projects ever in the nation's history. Some of their projects are tied into Sweden's goal to build an drone army that can repel any invader. They've successfully tested modifying the stealth submarines into remote controlled drones without the need of a crew, not much else has ever leaked.
@@LyricalSteeler Before the invasion of Ukraine, Russia set some terms and demands to NOT invade Ukraine. One of these demands was that Finland and Sweden (as well as Ukraine) would be part of Russia's "security buffer zone" and as such must be forever refused to join NATO. This preposterous demand is of course completely unacceptable to any sovereign country, Swedes and Finns declared very clearly that they wouldn't have their foreign policies dictated to them by Russia, and NATO rejected it as well. This got the ball rolling. In Sweden the public opinion started moving towards NATO in the months before Feb 2022, and when Russia actually went ahead and invaded Ukraine, Finland declared within a month that they would seek NATO membership. This tipped the scale completely in Sweden, and suddenly there was also a solid majority for NATO membership both in public opinion and in the Swedish parliament. This is, somewhat simplified, how it went down.
@@LyricalSteelersomeone who understands that Sweden should stay outside of NATO and protect it’s national sovereightny instead. Happy to do business with USA and NATO but not interested in anything else. UK are already guarranteeing Sweden. So Russia would go to war with a nuke-bearing country were they to attack Sweden

Ukrinform . ... . .. . 1.4M+ RU casualties thus far: 1,401,080 to be exact.. . . .. wia:1,050,810 (Minusrus)

Sweden have a lot of Sisu wagons 😉.. I made a test drive almost 30 years ago when we modified them for the Balkan missions.
Sisu XA-180 aka Pasi indeed is a GOAT
They say the swedish people are so shy and silent .....until they have anything to say that means..
Proud Swede! Happy new year to all my ukrainian and NATO-friends
They want Sweden in NATO because they own Gotland, large island/military base in Baltic sea and near Kaliningrad
Iryna´s hammer... Iryna of Kyiv-Rus was born in Sweden...
The pictures of the aftermath show it has not been damaged. It has been vaporized and instantly transformed into a submarine
Monster!
Slava Ukraini!!
/ A Swede
Heck yes
Sweden might benefit from armament sales when Gripen fighters prove good in combat. They would get intel how to improve fighters against Russia etc. It is not only a one way deal Aid Program but opportunity.
"Might"?
You can buy stocks now and still profit. These are old weapons manufacturers. Sweden is a weapons factory with 500 years experience 😂🤣😆
BADASS!!!
You are wellcome / from Sweden
You need to learn to hide them fast and in a way that its not easy to know where exactly it was hidden.
Yes. Fast deployment helps. I think it unwose to show them on youtube and say where they are deployed. Assuming it is accurate...
Even showing the tire pattern is giving away information that should have been kept secret.

the main issue Ukraine faces is fatigue of the current deployed soldiers, they need to be properly rested and rotated and this has been an issue for many on the front.

And Archer howitzer doesn't have open hydro hoses visible outside, like French Ceaser has. This means the small shrapnel hit cannot take the oil out easely.

All weapons we have are designed for nordic climate, its also protably designed to be good for defense, and a lot of survivability.
