The reason why tourists don't want to pay their bills on soi 6 is cause they get there, see how cheap drinks are just start buying drinks for the girls and ringing the hell out of the bell, next thing they know they are in over there heads for 1 night of fun and owe the bar 600-1000 dollars US. The girls they met that night at the bar who they thought "liked" them took them for a fukin ride. Soi 6 is designed that way on purpose. I live in Pattaya and soi 6 bars are just one of MANY different bar scams i have seen out here. If you are being called cheap by bar girls then you are doing something right for yourself.
Finally a common sense comment. When you know how the game works and keep your head in the game, things should be fine and you can have a great time. It's like you said, being a "cheap charlie" is not always a negative thing, who pays the the piper, calls the tune...

He’s got a lot of great content that really is helpful. I went out for two months in March and I figured most of these little tricks out pretty quick but going in with more of a heads up (like he gives) would definitely have helped. These are bonafide gems of wisdom and rules of the road. These are the rules, not the exceptions.

was living in pattaya, started vlogging, didn't work out so i stopped, now back in Oz, next destination is cebu
I have been in both places and Pattaya is far more interesting and more fun.

Good video dude .. I'll be visiting Pattaya again this Oct after first visiting Soi 6 back in Nov lol. PS that aerial shot of Soi 6 at the end with the more "normal" places on each side def puts things into perspective & seeing it for what it really it is, an interesting shot.

i have only recently come back from my first time in thailand, i did 16 days there, with 3 other lads (they have been going for 20 years+) and only just recently started watching your videos, it was an eyeopener of the do-s and donts from my friends and you pretty much nailed every point i was told about, hopefully i will be back in feb for a friends birthday, one point i will say if it will help any young lads, is stay clear of walking street, LK metro is just as good, and miles cheaper, its a tourist trap

Mac your next calling in life is obviously content creation and your edits and hard work on RUclips are to be admired. Just a thought but maybe consider writing a short story about the life and times on Soi 6? Put this on Amazon? Soi 6 is an iconic place. With the players in control of Pattaya I am woried that some day they shut the street down. There have been so many changes there over the last 20 years I have walked down that little Soi. It would be a real step back if that should ever play out. It would be interesting to read about the life and times of that Soi as there are so many dramas played out there every single day. Great job! So glad I stumbled into your channel.

Great channel - An idea for you bud - set up as a tour guide for people visiting Pattaya for the first time - you could definitely make some extra money on the side and use the activities as content for your channel.
Being a farang tour guide is illegal here mate with the right permit but I do offer a wingman service

There’s no way they aren’t watering them down at that rate
I feel like... I would have the bartender pouring water with food coloring in it to look real... could even mix it 10%... she could pour 5 shots for you ahead of time and leav em right behind the bar.... that way she can slip em in... you dont ruin your health.. etc. what do I know. I know you were worried about the patreons finding out you werent drinking fr and killing your money so I respect it but still health IS wealth, your smart, I know you know this.
